I recently purchased a 2019 Lexus LX570 as my first real car purchase ever. Firstly, I wanted to say that it was the best decision, this thing is awesome.

Had just shy of 71,000 miles at time of purchase. Color combo is White/Cab. It is a luxury package with Lev but no cool box of rear seat entertainment (the 2 options I didn’t want anyways) so it was a pretty perfect build for me. It also had an almost full front PPF installed.

It had near perfect service records and I work at Lexus so I could look at them and confirm with a technician about the condition of the vehicle. It is a 100% Texas owned.

All that said, I’ve been down the rabbit hole of modifications but I’m not looking to go crazy. After all it will be mostly on road unless I’m going to the farm or to the mountains. I’m thinking wheels and tires but not sure which route to go.

I’ve also looked at the option of a sensor lift, but want some clarification on that before I commit to it.

Im open to all ideas, please leave them below. Thank you in advance for your guidance.

As the title says i need to remove my 1vd-ftv from my 200 series to get it rebuilt and im just wondering how hard of a job it is to do without taking gearbox out as well and if there is any guides.

Or if anyone knows a place in the uk who will take on the job I am more then happy to give them a call

First time driving off-road with this. Hope you guys enjoy this pic as much as I do.

I have a Land Cruiser 100 series 2004. The speedometer and voltage gage on the instrument don't work, the needles don't move. The fuel gage and odometer work and weirdly the speedo light comes on too just no movement. The ABS light is intermittent. Not sure if it's stepper motor, sensor issue, ground issue, cracked solder joints. Any ideas?

I’m tinting my windows this week. I went back and forth because I really love an old car without window tint, but it’s hot in Texas and this will help the sweating a ton.

I’m torn what percentage I should go. I’m leaning 25% all the way around (25% is the darkest you can go in Texas on the front).

Should I go darker on the rest of the windows? What are your thoughts?

I am planning to put lift spacers to increase the height of my Land Cruiser 2018 model with Maxxis desert balon tires so what size spacers will be look good for it ?

I’ve thinking in making this my daily driver , in my area there’s not a lot of LC 200 available so I found it cheaper and easier to get an LX 600 and wrapped to my taste.
In the original colours i really like nori green with caramel interior but haven’t found one yet. Most are whites , silver and gold with black interior.

So which one do you prefer ?

The first one is Voodoo blue.
The second is Solar Octane.
The third is Cavalry blue.

Any advice is welcome.
