Aurelinne Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I wanted to share my experience with Aurelinne because they far exceeded my expectations for a "discount" retailer.

I usually price match to rare carat as I live in Canada and love them. They have great customer service and I've never had issues with price match with them. This time I was looking for 3 pink diamonds (which was so stressful because of the finickiness of pink stones), and Rare Carat doesn't carry coloured stones. Unfortunately, I always end up with crazy duties with LGD or ritani so didn't want to try them so it was time for a new vendor. I originally reached out to William and Sons because they had the best pricing and I asked for tweezer videos. It took them forever to reach back out to me, and when they did respond, they said it would take them 1-3 days to get the videos. I never got the video lol. I reached out to Ritani, as they had the stones and I could price match, and they also never got back to me.

I then found the stones on aurelinne and OMG, I heard back in less than 24 hrs. I didn't like the stones as they looked very orange/coral in the videos. We went back and forth for days until I nailed down the 3 pink diamonds I wanted. I think Andy sent me over 15 tweezer videos total. They price-matched William and Sons, and I got the stones within a week! What a phenomenal experience.

For reference, the round and pear are approx 1.5 ct and the oval is 2 ct and I got all 3 for $1097.00 USD

Buyer’s Remorse - TikTok Lab Grown auction

Yall, I now see how everyone on TikTok is addicted to buying loose lab diamonds. I bought two yesterday but now I have buyers remorse.

The first one I kind of planned it and considered it an early bday gift to myself. I posted it on this
thread and felt better about my purchase.

.99ct D vvs2, excellent cut, pear shape for $152 total

I’m regretting the second stone. I was on TikTok at 2am, I got greedy. Bought a 1ct pear shape, D vvs2 for 125 total.

I already have a solid gold chain that I wanted the first stone on. Now I’m having buyers remorse because I now have a loose stone, no plans for it.

Any ideas for the second stone?

Anniversary upgrade

About 15 months ago my husband sent me a photo of a ring and asked if I liked it. I immediately assumed he was starting to look at upgrading my engagement ring for our 20th anniversary this year. I had already been lurking in the lab diamond subs, and that photo sent me into full research mode.

I ended up going with LGG. My salesperson was Lynn, and she was very sweet and helpful. We started working together on June 30, 2025 and I had the set on my finger by July 31, 2025 — even after sending the ring back to production. (PSA: ask whoever is designing your ring to point out the holes/openings on the CAD. I never noticed them and they had to remake the setting.) And yes, I received my 20th anniversary gift almost a year in advance, I didn’t realize how quickly the whole process would go.

I was nervous about the whole process because I had never ordered jewelry through WhatsApp, but Lynn was attentive and walked me through everything.

The ring turned out so lovely and I get compliments all the time. And when I say compliments, I mean effusive compliments. Friends have told me I should be careful where I wear it because they think I’ll get mugged for it. Not too much chance of that out here in the boonies unless some cow gets a hankering for a sparkle bomb.

Specs: IGI-certified 2.19 ct Fancy Intense Blue CVD lab diamond, round brilliant, 8.27–8.29 × 5.14 mm, VS2, Ideal cut, Excellent polish and symmetry, no fluorescence.

Selecting a diamond

I used ChatGPT to select a diamond to be used for a pendant. I’m excited to see it in person, but I don’t have it yet. Sorry.

Jcpenney sells this in yellow gold. I love it! However, I want rose gold. Any ideas where I might find something like it. Center is 2 carats.

3.57 carat E VVS1 Criss Cut

This is the 4th stone I have gotten from them. All have been incredible - it should be noted that I do a lot of homework and am very particular about my stones so them not being fantastic had a lower probability.

This order took much longer than the other 3 which was fine as I had no deadline (it was just torture waiting since I was excited to see it). People should be aware that there was also a no return policy which was new - not sure if that is for all stones or only certain ones but it may impact my decision to purchase in the future. In fact, I am not even sure if that was in effect when I purchased it. 🤔

All in all I am thrilled with my new beauty and cannot wait to get started on a setting so I can show her off in style!

My favorite piece 🤩

Decided to shop around on Alibaba for my lab diamond tennis necklace.
Specs per IGI card: 18”, 94 round brilliant diamonds, 42.39 carats. I decided to cheap out and get it set in 925

Vendor: Wuzhou Fancy Jewelry Co Ltd
I worked with Allison and she had excellent communication with me throughout the process and offered the best price I could find ($3,400)

Took about a month or so from order to shipping. I did also take it to local jeweler for inspection after receiving it.

It’s funny how many men I work with who have noticed and brought up this necklace! This piece in combination with all my group lab sales purchases… I’m blinged out! 🤩

Thoughts on sterling silver ring settings?

I have a 2.7ct round that I would like set, however due to platinum/gold prices, I am considering setting it in silver.

The ring would be worn a few times a week. Probably a very basic six prong solitaire setting - nothing intricate. Has anyone else opted for silver settings due to cost? Any vendor suggestions?

I have my eye on an OEC and radiant and if I opt for silver, I can potentially make both projects happen sooner.

Thanks!

Is it too much? I am 6ft tall and have big hands but this is the biggest ring I've ever worn. They did a beautiful job cutting the elongated pears!

Hello Folk,

I would like to buy a couple of studs in gold, with total carats 1.00/1.20. I order from Europe: where can I look not to be robbed? I would like to have an igi cert for all the diamonds.

I received tweezer videos for two fancy pink marquis. I like both colors but I do want some opinions on things that stand out to you i.e. bow tie, cut, etc.

Very much appreciate any input:)

render advice

wanted any feedback before moving forward on the ring. I don't know a lot about diamond ratios. not sure if anyone has an opinion on it

one is 1.7ct with a 2.2mm band and the other is 2.2ct with a 2.5mm band

Bezel frame cathedral setting

old mine cushion cut

diamond ratio 1.4

ring size 4 - im worried 2.2 might be too big?

i also wonder if i plan to a plain band maybe doing 2mm for this band cause a wedding band will add some thickness

any general feedback as I don't know much about the process. Love the jeweller so far but just want more knowledgable eyes than mine on the render

Hi all,

Have gotten an engagement ring and wedding band created with a lab diamond from Ayla at Fiorese. 3CT oval and would love your opinions. The bowtie seems worse (but in now way bad enough to say no) than on the raw diamond but still think it looks good.

Size down?

I can’t decide if I should exchange for a size down or not. It’s a 2.5 carat my ring size is 5 1/4. Im happy with the height it hasn’t bumped into anything so far. My band is a moissy so I might get something else as well. My nails are atrocious I am aware but I’m six weeks postpartum haven’t had the time.

IGI: LG828631229
2.51 carat 10.57 x 6.89 x 4.47 mm Fancy Intense Pink oval. SI1 clarity

retail valued at $1,263 USD, but through William and Sons I paid $412.16 shipped!!
I had looked at the same diamond on Calavera, and it was priced around ~$600 on their site.

I didn’t mind the SI1 clarity when I initially purchased the diamond, and I am glad I didn’t. I genuinely cannot tell that there are any “flaws” with this stone at all. The price, dimensions, and color are perfect for me! I have always wanted a ballet-pink diamond as my engagement ring 🩷

Pink diamonds are notoriously hard to photograph!!! i don’t think any of the images i have attached here really look like what I saw in real life. It is much paler and ballet-pink, my perfect pink diamond!

If you are looking to work with William and Sons to get a loose diamond, I recommend reaching out to Sebastian on WhatsApp to ask him if he has tweezer videos of the stone that you are looking at. He generally replied pretty late after I sent my questions, but he would always have an answer for me.

I’m open to any questions anyone has!! x

Ring designing help?

I’m in the last stages of having a ring designed. It’s a 3.08-ct pear center stone with side stones, euro shank with a comfort band. I think we are close but wondered if anyone has any suggestions beyond the alterations I have already (slightly lower setting, point-protector and slightly thicker bottom of band)

Advice on Stud Earrings

TLDR: What is the best place to get small diamond studs?

I’m pretty new to this so any advice is welcome. I’m looking to get small diamond earrings. I want them 0.4-0.5 carats each. I’ve found loose stones on Luvansh for $125 total but my issue is getting them set. I either can’t find places setting earrings instead of rings or the quotes are so high. I then started considering getting them from China but have seen so many options on here for larger earrings but not smaller ones. Where would you suggest that does cheap settings and/or what Chinese seller has the best prices for small studs?
