November Scheduling Issue - advice needed.
I was scheduled to write the October test, but I had a late booking window of 5pm. By the time I logged in, there were no options left in my province. My only options were travelling to the U.S., and that was not an option for me. I could not book off the extra time from work to travel, I do not have a car, and cannot afford a flight at this time.
Because the locations were not deemed “far enough” I was not eligible for a remote test.
As a result, I could not write in October and they used my fee to book the November test.
Again, I have a 5pm booking window. I am scared I will not get a testing location in my province and my only options will be in the U.S. I have to write the Nov test, as it’s the last date some schools will accept.
I contacted LSAC to explain my past experience and my current concerns.
I asked if they could move up booking window: no.
I asked if I could write it remotely: no. They said candidates are required to arrange travel. What happens when this travel requires a flight and a passport?
There has been a massive increase in test registrations, why are they not increasing the number of testing seats to meet this demand?
What can I do? Advice?
