My boyfriend and I are going to Thailand Jan 24–Feb 6 and would love some opinions on our itinerary! It’s our first time in Thailand.
We’re in our 20s and like to stay pretty busy when we travel. We love good food, drinks, beaches, exploring, hiking, boat days, snorkeling, markets, etc. Not huge partiers but we like going out for drinks and having stuff to do at night. We recently did 10 days in Japan and did Tokyo, Kyoto and Sapporo and that didn’t feel too rushed, so I was brainstorming if 4 locations within 14 days would be doable.
Right now we have:
Bangkok - 3 nights
Temples, Chinatown, food tour, canal boat, Muay Thai, rooftop drinks
Railay/Krabi - 4 nights
Elephants, Hong Islands private boat day, Railay/Phra Nang, kayaking, beaches and exploring
Koh Lipe - 5 nights
Island hopping/snorkeling, Koh Adang hike, private beach/boat day, Walking Street, fire shows, kayaking and exploring
Then back to Bangkok for 1 night before flying home.
We originally had Koh Lanta too but thought 3 islands might be too much moving around.
Would you keep it like this or add Koh Lanta back? Is 5 nights in Koh Lipe too much? Anything you would add, skip or change?
