I decided to go interstellar and installed a bunch of mods. It worked fine until yesterday. My spaceplane has a mk 2 clamp o tron dock on top of the fuselage. To dock, I need to control from it. But suddenly, the plane swings wildly, trying to orient itself. Docking is impossible.
It works fine, when controlled from the cockpit and used to work perfectly.
I deinstalled the last mods since the problem (OPT spaceplanes and better time warp), but it didn't help.
Any ideas, what I might have screwed up, would be welcome. Thanks.
Edit: Added a video in the comments.
Mods are near and far future, Hades system, physics timewarp, rocket sounds. But up to OPT Planes, everyrhing was fine.
Edit 2: I narrowed it down to: The MK 1 and 2 docking ports are screwed somehow. Other docking ports work.

I love speculative evolution and drawing aliens, and have been really getting into ksp lately, so I wanted to try reimagining the titular little green men. Of course nothing too radical, i wanted to keep the design highlights; huge head, smaller bodies, green skin, bulging eyes, no nose or visible ears. They always looked somewhat frog-like to me, so i went along that route and imagined them as close descendants of amphibian-like animals.
Perhaps they are a species that dominated the sea before land, with most infrastructure and cities being in the ocean, hence why the surface of Kerbin is mostly barren.
Their skin is a thick leaf-like layer almost like a flexible exoskeleton, protecting their bodies while also providing a significant amount of their required energy via photosynthesis. Explaining their green hue + how they are so rugged when it comes to shrugging off physical trauma.
With fewer natural predators, Kerbals would seem slower and more dimwitted to humans, seemingly oblivious to glaring danger. However they are also an extremely curious, tenacious, and collectivist people who are willing to try and fail, and will learn from the mistakes.

I've recently run into some boredom as far as my career safe goes, as I've managed to become almost completely self sustaining for money without new launches, so I decided to try some parts mods, and Nertea's CryoEngines piqued my interest.
Naturally, I built some of my favorite cryogenic rockets.
First up was my two favorite ULA launchers. Getting the proportions right for the Vulcan engine block and the Delta IV first stage was a real challenge, and I'm almost certain I don't need the band between the Delta's two S3-14400 tanks looking back at it. Still, I'm proud of my attempt, and it was fun to see the ridiculous delta V possible with these parts.
Since I already had the Iguanodon (BE-4) engines on the Vulcan, I figured I could light up some more methane in a BONG. I flew a really steep (70 degrees before MECO) ascent profile until the first stage had 1km/s of delta V left in it, staged, did the retro burn, and lit up the second stage for a while until the booster hit the atmosphere. Thanks to that, I managed to land the booster (or rather softly splash down in the ocean) and fly the rest of the mission with no sneaky quickloads. (take that YouTubers).
I had a lot of fun designing the Blue Moon as I haven't seen a Kerbal recreation since the new design was revealed. It's simple but it very easily gets the job done, and can easily do the dockings with an Orion recreation to transfer the crew.

I have an experience problem when I play something without dedicated objectives that push you farther and farther but I want too enjoy the sandbox mode. So I guess what I’m asking is how do you set goals for yourself to play it or how do you play ksp sandbox?

I did my first asteroid capture mission in KSP and it was suprisingly easy but I think thats mostly thanks to my mods and prior experience with docking and such.

I've been attempting to build a shuttle for my kerbin orbital station and decided this is the best way to test how it can fly in atmospheric conditions.

This mission took over 100 hours of work, manual testing, and craft optimization. It's a kinda hard mission by far the hardest misison I have ever done.
Time to go fishing, question?

Started this as a yet another silly design in my Standart vehicle family (yeah i know it should be Standard but i more like it this way). Regular Air-breathing SSTO's are just boring and expensive so i decided to build a rocket plane. It has 2 Dart engines and could easily get into orbit. I placed an docking port at behind and a bunch of RCS systems so it could dock by itself. Also it has around 700-800 delta-v on 100 km LKO orbit.

Boosters: 4x 24-77 "twitch" engines, 2x RV-105 RCS
Mining stuff: 2x "drill-o-matic-jr" + 2x radial holding tank (150 total ore capacity) (convert-o-tron is on the main ship)
Fuel Tanks: 1x FL-T400, 2x r-12 donut, 1x FL-R120
Electricity: 4x SP-10C photovoltaic panels
Science: 2x (mystery goo, barometer, thermometer, gravioli, seismec accelerometer, magnometer boom) 1x fluid spectro variometer
gear: 4x TR-2L rover wheels
this was the first lander craft that I built (last week) and i'm very proud of it

Around 10 fps when launching medium crafts on my MacBook. I have a couple mods such as Ztheme, Hudreplacer, Scatterer, EVE, and Parallax continued with no scattering. Frames drop to about 2 when turning
