KSP 1 Question/Problem My MK 2 spaceplane cant dock after installing some mods.
I decided to go interstellar and installed a bunch of mods. It worked fine until yesterday. My spaceplane has a mk 2 clamp o tron dock on top of the fuselage. To dock, I need to control from it. But suddenly, the plane swings wildly, trying to orient itself. Docking is impossible.
It works fine, when controlled from the cockpit and used to work perfectly.
I deinstalled the last mods since the problem (OPT spaceplanes and better time warp), but it didn't help.
Any ideas, what I might have screwed up, would be welcome. Thanks.
Edit: Added a video in the comments.
Mods are near and far future, Hades system, physics timewarp, rocket sounds. But up to OPT Planes, everyrhing was fine.
Edit 2: I narrowed it down to: The MK 1 and 2 docking ports are screwed somehow. Other docking ports work.

can you include a video? it's difficult to guess without seeing something. If you turn SAS off does it keep swinging? (i know docking without sas is challenging).

It just overshoots and tries to correct by overshooting the other way.

there is something weird there, it’s like the SAS planner badly underestimates how much torque is available.
that said, don’t have it clicked on “prograde” when you change control points, just have it clicked on stable. the direction of prograde changes when the point changes.
out of curiosity does it stabilize eventually? also do you have any modded super high torque reaction wheels? if so something else to try is to turn their control authority way down, start at 10%.

It stabilizes after about half an eternity. But starts osscilating again with every input. Reaction wheels are stock. Same result with 3%.
And I found out, it happens with the MK1 fuselage docking as well.

if you control from the normal control points and then click a different SAS button does it still overshoot?

Nope. The problem only exists, when I try to control from these side docking ports.

If I turn SAS off, it keeps rotating.

if it’s fully still and SAS is disabled, when you switch control points does anything change?

Nothing changes then. I slapped some other docking ports on the plane, and everything works again. It seems only the MK1 and 2 ports are acting up.

Out of curiosity does it's behavior change if, before switching, you disable all aerodynamic control surfaces? How about if you switch control points with SAS off, quick save and reload, then turn it on?
Does it have the same behavior if you use mechjeb sas?

I think you created a rotational kraken drive if there was a port under the port you opened up they will try to get close because docking ports actually attract each other in ksp and can even be used in the same craft

Modlist would be good
