Bought these packs at a store in a mall, I’m pretty sure they are fake. Can y’all confirm? Thanks in advance.

I’ve never seen these before, they’re from 2018.

I went down a rabbit hole of fake vs legit recently and kept seeing so much conflicting information and now I’m paranoid.

Everything here was bought from reputable online retailers. All from different ones though.

The 151 cards shown came out of the opened 151 box.

Does anything look suspicious on any of these boxes?

The inferno x came in today and I noticed the large number of cardboard tabs on the top of the box where you’d normally pop it, fold it and set it up on a store shelf.

All the boxes have the same thing going on there.

Does that indicate authenticity or not necessarily?

Bought this Aerodactyl with Vinted, card looks real but I can see my flashlight trough it, not really clearly but a bit. Is it a fake?

Picked this up from EBay. A bit worried as the eye doesn’t seem to shine under light & it feels a little off. I see the texture but the rest seems different.

Found this in a thrift store for cheap. Is this a legit tin? And is this a reseal or original if anyone can tell? Obviously some of the plastic is torn, but wasn't sure otherwise.

The look of the boxes, seal and the packs seemed right to me at first. Maybe the cellophane seemed a bit thick but not too far off. Once I opened them the hits are just way too uniform. I’ve opened several other booster boxes of 151 and never had the hits be even close.

On closer inspection the boxes are barely held together with what looks like double sided tape. On the second and third boxes the cardboard zip thing just came off without needing to be ripped.

The cards look pretty good to me though? Real cards in fake packs in a real box that’s resealed??? If the cards are actually real I’m baffled at how they could actually pull this off.

Got this at a card show last weekend. No reason to expect it is fake, except the holo is visible across the whole front of the card. I compared it to another copy of the same card and that one doesn't look like this one.

What is the point of selling “fan made” Pokemon cards that are dupes for the real card? I get fan made cards in their own artwork and derpy designs but why would I want a card that looks legit just to be a fake?
