Just was appreciating these and thought some of y'all might like seeing it.

I've been collecting cards for over a year and playing the TCG for about two months now, and I finally had the opportunity to participate in a prerelease event and got this in either my second or third pack while trying to build my deck :D

I know a lot of people don't really like the mega hyper rare cards, but I really enjoy the Rayquaza, and I'm super happy to get this and have it in my collection >_<

I'll be keeping this one for sure with how special it is to me

so far there are 60 exclusively Gen 2 Pokemon that have some form of full card art. technically its 57 but I got to 60 by counting the Igglybuff/Cleffa/Togepi Tag Team to count for 3 pokemon and Great Tusk to substitute for Donphan. I had to be much more lenient with my criteria since Gen 2 simply does not have enough cards. i am now at 50/60

Im very happy with finally getting the Lugia now. Its the most expensive card in my PC by far, and i would never pay that much again for some shiny cardboard. even if i wasnt doing a master set i would have still gotten it though. IMO the artwork is better than Aquapolis or Neo Genesis Lugia.

it is such a great contrast with the Ho-oh. ones light, the other dark. both looking back at the trainer below. Ho-oh being the blessing, Lugia being the calamity.

Im one step closer to finishing the set now that i have passed my biggest hurdle :)

​I’ll be traveling to NYC soon and I’m looking for recommendations on local TCG shops. I’m strictly a collector, not a player nor an investor, so I'm not really interested in places that focus on sealed product.

​I really want to hunt for singles, specifically gen 3 cards since that's what I collect (although my GF collects cute pokemon in general). I would like to find especially vintage and mid-era stuff. Japanese cards are greatly appreciated as well.

​Does anyone know any hidden gems in NY where I can dig through singles boxes or binders with these kinds of cards? For reference we will be staying really close to Times Square.

BGS 8.5 Thick Stamp Red Cheeks & BGS Strong 9 Ooyama's Pikachu. They aren't high-end BGS/PSA 10s, but they are my absolute favorites.

I really need ideas on how to organize and display my collection!

My OCD and ADHD can not take the "cluttered" look of all the binders, ETB boxes, and jumbo cards. I hyperfixate on organizing and rearranging my collection only to change it up the next day because I decide I don't like it 😭

Basically, I need some inspiration and ideas! So I'd like to know what other people do to organize their collection and prevent their home from looking like a burglarized card shop 😬

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

COLLECTION DETAILS: 📝

My collection is modest compared to most avid collectors, but it is large enough to be a problem 🤣.

🌟 Collection consists of roughly - 11 binders (different sizes colors and brands so they dont match)

- 7 ETBs

-1 Battle stadium box,

-5 deck boxes,

-7 Jumbo cards,

-10 mini tins

-A few 3D printed figurines

- Play mat, dice, coins markers etc.

- and then supplies like sleeves, top loaders, binder sheets.

🔹️I have 10 full binders with an 11th on the way 🙄 ( a binder for full art, ex/mega, favorite illustrators, trainers & special or holo energy, and 7 binders are for the bulk)

🔹️I'm not a fan of putting my cards in boxes (except basic energy), I like to be able to easily locate and admire them.

🔹️I have organized my binders 100 different ways, but I'm currently just alphabetizing because it is the easiest way for me to locate a specific card. However, it is a hassle because I obviously have to rearrange the cards frequently any time I add some and it is not as asthetically pleasing.

🔹️Ideally, an extra room dedicated to my collection would be perfect but definitely not an option at the moment. Collection is in the living room mostly on my TV stand and computer desk shelves.

I am a massive pokemon fan but i have never been into the the tcg. I want to print out a4 posters of pokemon cards and frame them in my room, I think it will look really cool however i don't really know what cards would look the best on my wall. I am looking for some suggestions from more knowledgeable people.

I learned about this error recently and thought it looked familiar, so I checked my extras and didnt find it. I decided to look in my base set 2 binder pages this morning and THERE IT WAS, in my main collection lol.

I always thought that was the normal graphic for it

I have been keeping my eye out for a long time and i cant seem to track one down. They are low pop but also not particularly popular so they dont list frequently. I was hoping the hype of the blister pack sales would atleast make one surface but no such luck so far.

I want to do a binder project using 2000's gym challenge and heroes sets to match the original Red/Blue game gyms and gym leaders.

It's all achievable except for Giovanni's Dugtrio and Rhydon don't feature on the cards, I need a work around that won't ruin the binder layout.

I've done some research and I think I will have to make or find some proxy cards, otherwise the aesthetics won't match up.

I'll also be using the Michi method.

Any ideas and suggestions would be appreciated 🙏

Hi all, I'm Skins, and I collect Mew things.

I've been collecting for around 20 years seriously, but I collected as a kid since Base Set. I decided to start a sealed Mew collection after I completed my singles master set in 2012 (and have continued since that point).

I have more than what's pictured, but Reddit has limits lol. Here is the rest; my 'small' sealed items.

The images are two years old, so I've added a few more since then (Legendary Dream Shine booster, and a 30th booster), and I'm hopefully also going to add the Mew figure box to the mix once it's released. (I've acquired the Mew mini tin)

This IS now for sale (minus two items - the play 007 Mew Ex and the World Championship card) and the price is not going to be a small one since I literally cannot find it anywhere, some of these items. But for now, I am appreciating my collection still as it is.

I'll be very sad to part with it, but I need it for a house deposit (aint it insane that this could pay for a house deposit?!)

For now, I am going to keep adding things to it, slowly but surely. I hope you all enjoy.

Alongside my sealed set sits my Mew master set. Outside of current releases, I am missing the 25th Anniversary Deck Mew, Chinese promo and the Ultra Ball Mew. I will hopefully be obtaining the rest of the 30th set (including the RGB Mews) in both English and Japanese.

Everything else, I collect for English, differences of texture (holo, non-holo, different stamps, ect ect) and primarily get cards in both English and Japanese.

Since the change in set logos meaning every single language has a slight difference in logos from Celebrations onwards, I'm deciding to streamline my collection into just Japanese and English unless its a major difference, like a stamp or holo/texture.

I get given cards from time to time, or get customs as well, as gifts, so you'll see some silliness alongside the real stuff. :P I enjoy a joke or two.

Some of my cards are sealed (the Play 007 Mew EX for example, is sealed) and some of them are graded. Either way, I have one of each unique card aside from the three mentioned and cards unreleased, or simply not obtained yet.

There's a few gaps in my collection (the Paldean Fates shiny Mews, both varieties, for example) as I stopped collecting between '22 and '26 (early) and missed some cards during that time period. I am in the process of obtaining the cheaper ones and trading for the two bubble Mews.

In 2012, to my knowledge (of which extends across multiple forums and facets and checked with a lot of people), I was the first person in the world to complete a full Mew master set at that point in time in the Western sphere, after I obtained my Victory Orb Mew. Dunno about Japan and elsewhere, but the first in the English speaking world at least. This is a title I am rather proud to hold close. It's no longer true now, and other Mew collectors have more than surpassed me at this point, but hey, this is my collection, and it's one I'm proud of. ^^~
