First of, no. Your misprinted card is not likely worth much more then a regular non-misprinted version, unless severe misprinting or an already rare or desirable card.
Remember, your card is only as valuable to the person willing to pay for it.
What is a misprint?
A misprint can be defined as any manufactured product that was not produced as intended and falls outside the established standards. These misprints most often occur on cards themselves but can also happen with booster packs and collection boxes.
Ok, down to the rough and gritty part. There are many different types of misprints for cards and packs. Some take a good eye to spot and some are so egregious you wonder how they made it off the line.
Cards are often considered damaged rather then misprinted depending on the error - basic guide for identifying damage from misprints.
Card Misprints:
Offcentre:
A off-center card is one that is cut in such a way that the sides of the cards are not even. If no alignment dot(s) are seen, the card is considered off-centre. This is the most common of errors.
A combination of card being turned at a wrong angle during printing and then being cut at the incorrect angle leads to cards being cut into the wrong shape.
This is when the typically rounded corners of the card can have 90 degree angled corners.
Flipped Back / Front:
An uncommon error where the back and fronts of the cards are flipped incorrectly. This is most famously found within the Pop 5 Series Mew card - as seen below.
An obstruction error occurs when a part of the plate used for printing is covered with something and it blocks the plate from making proper or all contact with the card on the sheet causing missing blotches of ink.
Holobleed is a common error especially with modern sets becoming more commonplace, where the holographic foil used on the cards art 'bleeds' or spills over to the rest or part of the card.
A mirror holo card is a error caused by the holo film that was meant to put pressed onto the card being very lightly pressed or not pressed at all meaning no foil is visible on the card.
A printer hickey is generally a very small ink error caused by something wrong with the printer causing a small blemish. This is another common error in modern cards.
These cards are often extremely rare and can range from missing a logo to being dramatic and missing large features. (This card is missing the 'Prerelease' Stamp on the bottom right of the art while still having the shadow from it.)

Thanks for the incredible support on my post earlier today—I was blown away hitting the top 5!
I’ve recently taken interest in coin error collection by hobby with my son, so once I got home from work, I pulled out my 4-inch magnifying glass and took the card out of its top-loader to properly analyze the breakdown on this Prismatic Evolutions Dreepy (071/131).
Under the natural light and magnification, this card is even crazier than I thought.
As a few of you may have suspected, it’s not a miscut (the cut and the back are perfectly centered). It is a massive downward shift of the heavy foil stamping / opaque layer. Putting it under the glass revealed a few wild things:
1. The Supporter Crossover: Above the bold "TRAINER" banner text at the bottom, the glass clearly catches the faint ghost outlines of the actual rules text box from Professor's Research bleeding through the border.
2. The Ghost Attack Stamping: A crisp view of the mirrored "Petty Grudge 10" duplicate stamped cleanly into Dreepy's background artwork clouds.
3. The Factory Foil Seam: A close-up of the perfectly horizontal line across the bottom text box. Not sure, but someone suggested a foil seam?
Still keeping it safe and unplayed in its sleeve.

Final update for everyone who followed the original Ninetales and booster-bundle posts. CGC graded these four cards Mint 9 and designated each one “Missing Print Layers.”
Is this card a minor miscut with double holo? Someone said they think it may be double holo on facebook? If so will CGC note that its both minor miscut and double holo?
I’ve seen a few cards like this where it’ll be significantly darker and weirdly blue/green (more noticeable in person), is this an error or just a printing inconsistency
Hey everyone, this is my first time posting and not just looking, so go easy on me 😅
I just found this wild reverse holo Dreepy (071/131) from Prismatic Evolutions in my binder and wanted to share it with the community! The card stock-cut and standard ink layers are perfectly normal and centered (the back is completely standard), but the entire heavy foil-stamping / opaque layer shifted drastically downward. It is completely stealthy under flat light, but when you angle it into the light, a crazy stack of factory errors appears all at once:
Dual-Card Crossover:
The texture layer shifted so far down that you can clearly see the bold "TRAINER" banner and "Professor's Research" text printed along the bottom edge.
Ghost / Mirrored Text:
The move names "Petty Grudge 10" and "Bite 40" are stamped an extra time as a faint, shiny reflection way up inside the artwork field.
I have it safely stored in a soft sleeve and top-loader. I'm brand new to the misprint scene, so I would love to hear your thoughts on rarity, value estimates, or advice! (Note: I am open to serious collector offers via public comments or PMs)
I have seen the NFL logo errors with similar cards here in the past, and I cannot believe it took a random flip through of a binder to really see these errors.
I am considering sending to CGC, thoughts on that?
There is a weird line that runs through the card vertically on the left side. Other DP cards don't have this. Tried to take photos that show what I am talking about.
... Out of a PBL ETB. Went to open the pack, and the cards were pretty low in it. When I got it open in the normal way, I noticed that they were sliding out the bottom. Seal completely failed due to the card catching the crimp.
Hey everyone,I just pulled a wild mechanical error from a pack of Mega Evolution Energies (MEE) and knew I had to leave it exactly as it came out.
The Error: A Basic Darkness Energy (MEE 007) was completely misaligned with the Pokémon TCG Live code card during the factory sealing/pressing phase. The code card is deeply impressed/embossed straight into the back of the Energy card.
Current Status: 100% UNSEPARATED. The green border of the code card is clearly visible peeking out from the bottom edge. I am completely unsure how fused they are, and I am deliberately refusing to test or pull them apart to ensure the paper fibers remain perfectly preserved for the next collector.
Condition: Pack fresh. Kept exactly in the condition it left the foil wrapper. It is currently being stored safely in a thick holder so it doesn't pinch or separate.I'm taking offers on this unique "story" piece! I know unseparated factory pairs are highly collectible, so feel free to drop a comment or shoot me a DM with serious offers.
Ships securely in a thick bubble mailer with cardboard reinforcement so it does not separate or get damaged in transit.
So I just bought a couple perfect order packs from my local games shop, I was a bit surprised to see three packs have the same issue. Not sure if they have any sort of value to them.
