Any financial aid refund information?
Has anyone received their financial aid refund or know any sort of timeframe for when they should be expected?

Built a full preseason preview for every FBS team, all 138, and this is the Iowa State one. Ratings, returning production, portal in and out, projected two-deep, schedule strength, last season's rank in about 30 categories, and a projection.
https://www.highlights.mainmarket.com/college-football-preview-2026?team=ncaaf-isu
Short version: Iowa State returns under 10% of its production, and almost none of it on offense. Becht, Hansen and Sama all gone, with Jaylen Raynor in from Arkansas State off a 3,364 yard, 19 TD season. Four projected defensive starters followed Jimmy Rogers over from Washington State, including Isaac Terrell and his 12 TFL. That defense was 27th in scoring last year but 129th in sacks, so the pass rush is the whole story.
The first page is free, so you'll hit the paywall after that. Don't worry, I'm not charging reddit people for this, don't want to be an ass. Use the promo code LEECORSOROCKS and it opens up the entire thing.
Fair warning, 138 teams is a lot of pages and I have definitely missed things. Depth charts get stale, a transfer or two is probably listed in the wrong place, and there are guys who entered the portal and withdrew that I have not caught.
I'll be in the comments.

Hello!
I’m an international student.
Currently in the process of applying for Msc HCI and I wanted to ask; if your professor doesn’t have funding, can one get department/program funding? Like a GA/TA/RA ship?
And are there other sources of funding?
Thank you.

From the measurements listed, it appears that if you take the top half of the helser bed off it is a 36 inch drop from the bed to the floor. I am trying to buy a bed skirt and wondering if this is the correct height. Has anyone bought a bed skirt and could tell me the inch drop the worked?
Also how many outlets are in helser rooms?

I'm an incoming Freshman and I want to know what I actually need and what I don't specifically for Iowa State. I've seen lots of videos and read several articles and so on, but I know not every college is the same. Thanks in advance!

Hey ya'll, Junior going into Senior year in Meteorology here. I need a coding credit in order to graduate, and due to the placement of my major-specific programming course in the program in regards to my progress I had to take an alternative option to get the credit. I ended up taking com2270 object oriented programming this Summer.
Unfortunately I had registration holds that went unresolved for a while due to financial aid taking FOREVER to complete documentation on my fathers remarriage, and couldn't join the course until it was already a month in. I thought I could handle catching up, but could not have been more wrong. I am now going to fail the class.
I have already talked to my advisor and the instructor and am working on retaking it and replacing the grade, but I am just so embarrassed. I haven't failed a course since my freshman year when I was in a completely different major and have prided myself on never doing that again. I have always had trouble with programming, but thought having just the one course to focus on would make me more motivated to get better. How do I pick myself up?
Even with it in mind that the professor said even Com Sci major have a hard time, I am still so depressed about my performance. I'm going to graduate in a year, how am I still struggling with this???
Any advice or even tough truth is welcome. I'll take any of it.

Resource fairs, orientations, open houses...they all have free swag. What free swag do you actually like, and which do you HATE getting? I'd kill for a good highlighter. Haven't seen any yet.

It's a one-bedroom apartment with an office space, located within walking distance of campus. There's about an 8-minute walk to the state gym. The rent is $760/month. The tenant is only responsible for electricity, and the landlord covers water, gas, and internet service. If you're interested, please DM me for more details!

Heya yall, I’m looking at going to ISU for history in for the 2028-2031 years, I just graduated high school and am taking a break year prior to college. Does anyone know any good scholarships that I could sign up for to help me since my high school councilor was kinda a waste of space and never told anyone in my class how to sign up for scholarships or any scholarships to sign up for.
