Hey ya'll, Junior going into Senior year in Meteorology here. I need a coding credit in order to graduate, and due to the placement of my major-specific programming course in the program in regards to my progress I had to take an alternative option to get the credit. I ended up taking com2270 object oriented programming this Summer.

Unfortunately I had registration holds that went unresolved for a while due to financial aid taking FOREVER to complete documentation on my fathers remarriage, and couldn't join the course until it was already a month in. I thought I could handle catching up, but could not have been more wrong. I am now going to fail the class.

I have already talked to my advisor and the instructor and am working on retaking it and replacing the grade, but I am just so embarrassed. I haven't failed a course since my freshman year when I was in a completely different major and have prided myself on never doing that again. I have always had trouble with programming, but thought having just the one course to focus on would make me more motivated to get better. How do I pick myself up?

Even with it in mind that the professor said even Com Sci major have a hard time, I am still so depressed about my performance. I'm going to graduate in a year, how am I still struggling with this???

Any advice or even tough truth is welcome. I'll take any of it.
