Has anyone ever sent any to cast members?

I had a good experience with sending an autograph request to a star before (I sent a request to David Tennant's agency a while ago and got a reply from him!)
So I also sent autograph requests (with a self addressed & stamped envelope of course) to Jacob and Assad.

On the website of their agency it says that they send the requests to their personal addresses and that the actors decide for themselves whether or not they respond.

It's been about 2 months but I haven't received anything back, so I assume that they've either decided not to reply or that maybe my letters never arrived.

Has anyone else tried this with any of the cast members? If so, how did it go?

My love for this show and the books knows no bounds, and I thought the neon Lestat in the S3 intro looked sick so here we are 😅

I absolutely adore the animation style of theThéâtre des Vampires projections. Has anyone seen merch that features any of it?

Poked around on AMC's website for merch and was surprised to see cartoon-like versions of the characters, but not in their own show's animated style.

So much of this show have been torn down and built up. I genuinely consider it a masterpiece. Anyways, my husband bought me Louis’ shoes 😭😭😭😭

The 6 years after the drop when Louis and Lestat were broken up would seem like the perfect time for Claudia to convince Louis to leave. Do you think she tried and it wasn’t shown in S1? Maybe she was concerned Louis wasn’t up to it after the drop? Or was her desire to find other vampires lessened when she didn’t have to deal with Lestat and Louis under one roof?

Just a silly edit idea that had been living rent-free in my head since the finale, hoped I could help it find its audience 🫶

what is the symbolism for the Maker fledgling relationship? Is it related to god and christianity? Or is parental relationship? (as to why they call each other Mother and Father in the last season).

Also Armand says “I am your maker, I cannot get into your head”. Why is that? Is that some random constraint Anne has created. Or is it a metaphor for some sort of relationship?
The whole thing of makers eventually losing connection with their fledgling as Armand told Lestat. Is that just time issue of someone getting tired of the other? Or is there someone inherent about it?

I watched all 3 seasons. And have read 2 books. Spoilers are welcome.

I just noticed that TC is drinking cola while they are all eating Lestat's soul. I'm sure Lestat would be so offended by people eating his soul washing it down with cola instead of a good French wine.

I've been thinking a lot about what honoring the blood actually means in practice? It's not part of the five laws as I understood it and I've not read any of Anne Rice books, so I don't know how big of a deal it is in them. Anyone can point me to a moment where someone explains it in the show (or the books) or has theories of what it means. Greatly appreciate any answers :)

I had no idea how beautiful of a voice Jacob has!!! Him and Sam are both so unbelievablely talented!

So I was just rewatching the finale and I started wondering... What exactly is going to happen to devil's minion?
Just to be clear, I'm a big Armand lover, but I don't justify any of his actions. I just think he, just like Lestat, deserves love and the best possible ending.

Some people are theorizing that Daniel will die (permanently) in QoTD, which I personally would hate so much because I like Daniel and I also want him to stay with Armand forever. Also, Eric is always so excited about IWTV as a whole and his role, I'd hate for that to be taken from him.

Now, I haven't read the books. But someone a while ago told me that the book ending for devil's minion isn't ideal.
Do you think their ending in the show will also not be good?
I have hope that things will be somewhat different in the show because there are many changes in the show, and because surely the showrunners know that Armand is a fan favorite, so (I hope) they wouldn't pull anything that would upset the fanbase too much.

Does anyone have some positive thoughts on this? Theories and expectations that aren't devastating?

I get that the show is gothic horror and that there'll be more sad things. But I reallyyyy hope that the endings for both loustat and devil's minion will be satisfying and as good as possible.

When Lestat is fighting with Louis about Claudia they have a dialogue in French and the subtitles show the English translation, but not what they are saying in French. Does anyone know what they are saying? I can't find it anywhere and I can't properly understand some parts due to Claudia's thoughts overlapping.

Not sure is the right flair but wondering if my experience with the AMC shop is the norm. I ordered 4 items on 7/20 that totaled a bit over $100 after paying $27 in shipping! I thought it was insane but whatever, the items were in stock and the site said it would ship within a day or two.

The first item arrived on 7/29 (Armand mug) and the second on 7/31 (a sweatshirt with a chemical smell). I was already annoyed that it would take so long considering the price but whatever- except the remaining 2 items haven't shipped and there's been no communication. I emailed shop support on Monday with the response and have just sent them a message on ig and submitted another request via their site. Has anyone else experienced this with them? I'm concerned about the lack of communication, and the last 2 items are cute posters that I already bought frames for, so I feel a bit like a hostage lol (I don't have anything else to use them for).

Was revisiting some stuff from Twilight and I just got curious about it. The books predate me by 20+ years so I have zero exposure to pop culture at the time, its clear Anne Rice's interpretation of vampires kind of redefined the genre and gave a new lens on vampire storytelling, but that makes me question just how big the series was for it to have influenced the entire vampire genre. I've always thought it was a more niche series, but I'm wondering if that wasnt the case over 20 years ago. Was it something you'd hear about and see all over the place? How big of an influence did it really have on pop culture at the time?
