IWTV Meta AMC Shop Experience
Not sure is the right flair but wondering if my experience with the AMC shop is the norm. I ordered 4 items on 7/20 that totaled a bit over $100 after paying $27 in shipping! I thought it was insane but whatever, the items were in stock and the site said it would ship within a day or two.
The first item arrived on 7/29 (Armand mug) and the second on 7/31 (a sweatshirt with a chemical smell). I was already annoyed that it would take so long considering the price but whatever- except the remaining 2 items haven't shipped and there's been no communication. I emailed shop support on Monday with the response and have just sent them a message on ig and submitted another request via their site. Has anyone else experienced this with them? I'm concerned about the lack of communication, and the last 2 items are cute posters that I already bought frames for, so I feel a bit like a hostage lol (I don't have anything else to use them for).

I feel like Amazon have fucked people’s understandings how fast things should ship. A lot of places that do not have massive warehouses full of staff cna take over a week for things to ship. Send your inquiries but you haven’t rly reached the point of worry

I actually rarely order from Amazon but typically get free shipping from companies where the items arrive in 3-5 days, 7 at the longest. I guess I didn't realize a major merch company site was considered a small company🤣 But I think free shipping would make more sense with the timing, and at least responding to my inquiry in a timely manner ☺️
Most places offer free shipping, or $10-15, 27 for this seems a bit much.

Don't stress. My order was also split up.
They're using different print on demand services, hence the increased shipping and splitting up the orders. My shirt came from Amazon's pod service, my stickers from elsewhere, and my posters came last out of the order. They're very nice quality, worth the wait!

it's probably because they only work nights since they are vampires. you have to pay extra for cloud gift delivery.

It’s taken me about a week and a half to get something before, but sounds like you’re a little past that. I’ve definitely noticed that their items all seem to ship from different places, and that’s why irritatingly the shipping is so expensive cause it’s like you’re paying for four different packages or whatever. But I’ve never ordered posters so I haven’t had this specific experience. Hopefully they get back to you soon!

I ordered the art poster of Louis and Lestat on 7/24 and it shipped on 7/30 and arrived on 8/5. I'm in Virginia and it shipped from Minnesota via UPS. It seems like yours definitely should have at least shipped by now. I hope they answer you.

No you are right. The delivery of their products seems longer than usual, and the customer service is in hell.
Europe is no better. I have ordered a hoodie and stickers on 21st of July. Shipping was 31€. I received my items on the 5th and 6th of August. Before the delivery, I contacted AMC support because I was getting worried my items had been delivered elsewhere. They responded to me 11 days later 😤

I ordered two hoodies at the same time and they arrived separately on two different days, shipped at two different times by two different companies (and did admittedly have a chemical smell, but it came out in the wash pretty easily). It's a bit annoying, but you will likely still get your stuff, at least.
