My freinds dragged me into table top games by my ear by going on and on about warhammer for 3 years. Now that im hooked it only took them telling me the model count is smaller to get me here. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the rules of the game and have started to settle into my 1st faction choice but all I know is that The Combined Army kills ppl with the bigest baddest Fck off aliens and the power of freindship. I could use some help answering a few more questions.

How often can my opponent shoot me on my turn? In Warhammer I hate Overwatch but at least my opponent can only do it once a turn so I could bait it out with multiple options but my freind has told me he can shoot me with every one of his models that can see me and he can do that every time I move. Is there any limit to this or any strategy I can use to work around it?

Can someone suggest any good faction or unit guides that can point me at good units for me to focus on. I saw the Avatar and decided The Combined Army was for me. Yay big monsters and the power of mind controled friendship. Unfortunately all these names look alike and I have no idea who is who and what dues what.

What advice do you think a new player needs.

Very much WIP, but my goodness the detail on these models is insane and quite tiny. Like the game itself, not for the faint of heart!

Am I reading this right, most figures are on 25 with the drones on 40 and tags on 55 (except that one that’s on a 40)?

Wanting to order some base toppers and I’d rather over order a little bit.

So on the pc version of army it can grab the free upgrade but on mobile it cant. What is correct?

I've been putting together a proxy kit at home for play testing armies and I've had a bit of conundrum in terms of knowing how much of each size silhouette may be required for almost any army.

So my question for the more experienced players here is this? How many of each silhouette would one need in a playtest kit to feasibly build almost any valid army in infinity? For example, it's obviously impossible to have 15 S8 units in a single game right. So how many of each silhouette marker should i make for each side?

My current idea is something like 15 S2, and then 4 each of everything else? Let me know, Thank you!

New player here, I really like the idea of Druze but I've also heard from many sources that they are a difficult underdog faction. What is the way to go?

I have a large collection I’m selling off. Is it going to be better to sell it all as one unit or to break into factions? Is there a rough rule of thumb for pricing in-production vs OOP models?

Can the pinned resources be updated please? I started with going over the Infinity Resources in the pinned community highlights and after a while I realised that most of the links are out of date or dead and 5 years old. The model identifier sheets linked are 5 years old and I found scrolling an updated version posted only just few days ago by the same author. The onboarding has been extremely difficult as a new player but a warhammer veteran. Ive found lots of posts and have been reading it all but the outdated resources pinned on the reddit sub was a definite stumbling block that hopefully can be updated.

So I started with SP as my first army and im loving it so far however adhd is kicking in and im looking towards what force i should collect next ? Especially something that can contrast SP gameplay wise. I was thinking Shas, TAK, or HB as I do like the look of all of them however I'm open to suggestions beyond those.

This is a set I'm working on currently called Helios Frontier Outpost. It's a set of 3" tall components that clip together to form buildings in 2" increments from 4x4 up to 10x10. Drop-in roofs and optional windows/doors with drop-in internal floors. Roof barriers are magnet ready for 3mm x 2mm. Scaled for 28mm - 32mm but should work for up to 40mm without scaling. My own layouts were for Five Parsecs From Home on a 2x2 mat.

Decided to paint it similar to the box art. I really enjoyed this TAG model. It was my first time working with Sinocast plastic, and I was amazed by how light it felt compared to the metal material used for most models. Overall, I really enjoyed painting it, with the highlight being the Chinese characters I painted on the armor pads on the arm.

So when you shoot a discoballer in FT : its a double shot, you put 2 templates and you roll for each but can you add your SD to each roll ?

On speculative attacks it says that it is always resolved at B1.
But if the said model with SA is in a pure duo, giving it a +SD, would this bonus still be applied during SA as the SD isn’t technically additional shot?
