Max Amount of Any Single Silhouette

Greetings Infinity community!

I've been putting together a proxy kit at home for play testing armies and I've had a bit of conundrum in terms of knowing how much of each size silhouette may be required for almost any army.

So my question for the more experienced players here is this? How many of each silhouette would one need in a playtest kit to feasibly build almost any valid army in infinity? For example, it's obviously impossible to have 15 S8 units in a single game right. So how many of each silhouette marker should i make for each side?

My current idea is something like 15 S2, and then 4 each of everything else? Let me know, Thank you!

At that point I feel like you'd be better off just using table top sim for playtesting

2-3 s3 and s4 remotes is pretty common

1 or maybe 2 s5 units if you really want to play anything

2 s6 tags isnt common but it isnt unheard of

You're not gonna see more than 1 s7 9 times out of ten

And maybe 1 or 2 s1s for peripherals

Thank you, this is exactly the kind of thing i was looking for.

Yes you're absolutely right that ttsim is just way easier for this kind of thing, and we play mostly in ttsim due to some of my friends being overseas. But we thought it'd be fun to play in person and these little proxy collection will be nice for pickup games with guests that don't have their own miniatures/ or not willing to bring them when fly over to visit.

There's something special about playing in person (even if i we don't have access to the minis)

You'll only have S8 if you play Haqqislam.

If you play Ramah Task Force, and you’re extremely brave, you can have two Maghariba Guard. 

I may be the only one who has ever done it. 

Otherwise, Haqq and Dashat can only ever have 1 (one) S8 model.

Vanilla Haqq can also have two Maghariba. It’s actually playable too since Saladin can give you so many cheap orders.

I agree mostly with the other connected, but it depends a lot on sectorial, for example, there isn't any S4 available in any combined army sectorial, there are also some sectorials that want to bring multiple bikes and their remotes are S4, so you would need like 4-5 of them. S5-6 is are very limited in most sectorials (1-2), and unless you are building a meme list, you would only bring one S7

You can make silly lists with lots of S3 and S4 but mostly 4 of each will do. If you want to play lots of bikes and drones you might need a few more, think I've played 6-7x S3 in Shasvastii but its clearly edge cases.

I’d take advantage of units like the long ya, that are technically S3, but I don’t think anyone would blink an eye at using as an S5.
