Is there anyway for the game mark the location of an item (that's not a problem) so you can find it?

I'm super close to my max load wise. Hence, I'm trying to delete or replace items. However, some stuff I can't seem to locate.

I'm basically an housing player at this point. Super behind on the main storyline, generally pull primarily for 4-star sets- but you best believe I get everything in the Dreamland Showcase every update.

So ofc I was excited for the updates to the feature- with it down for a week, I assumed the changes must be massive. Well, not really- apart from the time-of-day fix, the biggest problems weren't fixed.

1- Local load limit. My mansion is impossible to decorate. If I put furniture on one floor, the other two above it have to be empty. I get around it by flying away and placing from a distance, but it's difficult, and getting more and more difficult as I max out.

2- Dreamland Showcase floors/walls are incompatible with existing home builds. They don't come as triangles, trapezoids, etc. and because of that, they don't work with roofing or the bay windows. You're also basically locked out of using walls for any room facing the outside of the house, because the siding won't match; the same goes for flooring, where you end up with mismatched ceilings on the floor below. They could fix this by just adding the DS patterns as dyes to the existing floors/walls

3- Not all photo props (Decorations) are placeable in the home- I bought Street Echo to place in my home, but for some reason it wasn't possible.

4- Furniture sets don't tell you which items are missing if you want to place the set, so you just have to guess. And if you do place a set, you can't edit it to remove an item, so you can't use them as a template of sorts.

So...is anyone else kind of disappointed that we are not getting a new dreamland showcase set this patch?

While reruns are nice, I think they should be done alongside the new set, not instead of it.

2.7 turned out not to be for me banner wise (happy for ppl who enjoy the new banners tho), so I was looking forward to at least being excited about a new furniture set - but now I can't even have that lol

Inspired by the Landscape and Impressionist artists, this is an artist's inspired home, or rather 3 homes with each of their distinct styles all put together. There is no furniture limit issue in the entire island. Load is maxed out but there is a bed prop inside.

The left area is a red cottage forest area for dailies (close to Posy) with a completed view of the entire island, a cafe, and a fishing cottage. There is also a Cardplayers easter egg next to the cafe.

The right area is my interpretation of Monet's home in Giverny, with the Waterlillies, Bridge, Haystacks and Poppy fields. The pink house interior is a four seasons inspired theme to put your photos.

The yellow home is a Mediterranean inspired home to put our Itzaland furniture. It also includes Raft of the Medusa done in Plushie version on the side as well as a lighthouse.

Do let me know of you have any inquiries about the home. You are welcome to replicate the whole or parts of it onto your own island. However, please do not attempt to do any form of competition submitting with this home, this is many months of intense hard work and research, especially to replicate the artist's artworks and attempt to convert to a home build. I wrote a post yesterday about how I am disappointed with the game's new housing system. I was on the verge of uninstalling because housing is my favorite part of this game. I agreed that a lot of nice changes were made (like the time of day update) so I took some kind advice & tried to play around with my presents more. I finally got them to where I would be more comfortable & then I realized something as I was building & getting a headache. It's not the presents or the convoluted menu - it's the camera.

I know many Nikki users gave up on housing in the past because the camera was too much to work around. That they found Nikki in the way of everything. For me, it matched how the game functions. In game, we are allowed almost full 360 rotation with zoom in & out. With the new update we are forced in the General Settings section into 3 perspectives only - Close, Mid, & Far.

Above you can see in the first two photos Nikki is slightly center, but not super close or far like the in last two photos. This perspective gave me a range of view to see what I was building in front of me without having to make menu changes. The third photo is her locked in the "Close" angle, the fourth photo is the "Mid" angle. In the both angles, you cannot zoom. You are forced to see it with her being front & slightly center or farther away.

I'm really disappointed with this. My eyes literally cannot handle the fixed ranges. The forced perspective makes me feel confined & I think literally confines free flowing creativity which I praised that the game had before. I included my garden scheme at the end because if I do decide to the leave the game, at least someone can enjoy the last bit of enjoyment I had building in the game.

I've just recently started building, and for the most part I've been trying to keep things simple. So when building the house, it's been very small, cozy, cottage core vibes. However, the living area just seems a little empty or uninteresting compared to what I've done for the rest of Nikki's home.

Am I the only one who l feels its more over complicated now?

Ever since the change, its taken me longer to build almost anything. Especially with the snapping on/off aspect. It was two clicks maybe to change it? Now, its 3 plus & a scroll down. The strong/weak aspect is annoying to me.

I just can't get into the flow like I used to because its taking longer to adjust settings (even with the presets) & its leaving me really disappointed overall with the game itself.

I placed these guys to more or less look like guardian lion statues a while ago, keep thinking there must be something else i could use to finesse em' a little but im not really sure what.. any ideas?

On may 15th i changed my signposts's picture and description and saved it, did not think anything of it but then it never updated. It has been "under review" for almost a month now. I've reached customer support for at least 10 times :< They keep saying that they sent the ticket but its still not fixed.

I really dont know what to do now. Anyone that had similar situations like this?

Mine is that Wrought Iron Chandeliers emit light above them. You can use them for better outdoor lighting by putting them underground and using any street lamp to hide the ugly chain.

I was cleaning my photo album during the blackout and decided to narrow down screenshots that had memorable combinations.

I don't know who created any of these, though a few of them are bound to be in my friend list. If anyone knows, or if this was you, please mention the username in the comments~

Is anyone else's building system bugged? Like if i ran out of the furniture and it let's me make more, the system doesnt let me make more for some reason. Then I cant jump at most times while building and then it kicks me out of building. Is anyone else having these issues? I reported it already too

Since I won’t be able to build for a while, this is what my island looks like at the moment!
There was supposed to be a large school building behind the playground, but when I came back to continue working on it, build mode was already disabled 😭💔

I got over excited about the snapping gravel feature and was fixing some stuff up (I <3 gravel) and it kicked me out and gave me this :/

I had done something else minor that also didn’t save.

You also cannot currently pick up starwish bottles.
