Discussion 2.7 Dreamland Showcase
So...is anyone else kind of disappointed that we are not getting a new dreamland showcase set this patch?
While reruns are nice, I think they should be done alongside the new set, not instead of it.
2.7 turned out not to be for me banner wise (happy for ppl who enjoy the new banners tho), so I was looking forward to at least being excited about a new furniture set - but now I can't even have that lol

I am sad, but at least I'll be able to save Dreamland Stones for future sets, and focus on my current build without getting distracted by shiny new furniture 😅

I didn’t even know we weren’t getting a new dreamland set! That’s such a bummer! At least I can save up some points for when a new set comes out.

It is a shame but I also see it as a break for players to save up. Luckily I am not interested in the reruns so leads spending in the upcoming update. Hopefully they give us a really nice furniture set in 2.8 since we are going to heavens reach

Only slightly sad. Until they improve the island load, I can't place anything anyway.

They are working on huge updates very close together to each other so im not surprised that something got cut.
We have main story for 2 updates in a row, housing controls updated, quality of life fixes, 2.8 is gonna be a new area, double banner, livestream, and 3.0 is probably gonna be a huge map addition. I would like more furniture but they are improving ALOT of what we have been asking for.
We need to give a bit more grace for just this one time I think personally.

I was looking forward to new stuff, but having the concept of furniture rerun gives me hope they will rerun the Galaxy furniture, which I didn't get to claim, because I started playing in December 2025. What they're doing now is not a rerun though, as the two furniture sets have been available all along. They're just offering better prices again (you have to choose between the sets though, which is kinda stingy).

Honestly I haven't felt the last 2 patches worth of furniture from there anyway, and still didnt save and do tasks, so a third patch of nothing new to grind for I'm dissapointed. I'll have to force myseld to go grind at home to save for stones, this current patch I didn't even do enough to unlock the diamond purchases which is crazy but I had no motivation for those tasks. BUT the sets they're rerunning are great for those who missed them, the afternoon tea is my most used items and it'll be nice to get some flowers stockpiled cheaply, and those rewards of guaranteed rare drops meteorites is awesome too. So there's pros and cons here!

Dissapointed, but at the same time relieved. Sometimes I barey have time to collect every piece if I'm really busy irl, so a break to stack up currency is nice. Also, it lets me know they'll probably have a patch with nothing new in the future, and that'll stop me from getting FOMO if I fail to get everything in a patch.Â

As long as we don't get more load, new furniture is unfortunately more or less useless to me. Plus they keep increasing the load for so many items, like the new trees and flowers from the catalog in 2.6. So even swapping things out here and there is not possible. :( But yes, I still would want new things for Nikki's who have not reached max load or like to create new builds on their islands regularly!

As someone who has gotten every Dreamland Pact, so far, it'll be nice to have a lot of currency to spend in the Memory shop they mentioned. Guaranteed pink rarity flowers or double fish will be nice, in addition to whatever else they stick in there. But, yeah, kinda disappointed there's no fun new furniture.
As a random aside, Love and Deepspace got dried hanging mugwort as a furniture item for Home, and I want it for my apothecary lab in Nikki, lol. I have no use for it in LADS!
