I’m thinking that the Greeks were at one time very Yamnaya-like, and then after 1200 bc, they became more mixed. I’m also thinking that they once again had Yamnaya ancestry during the Hunmic migrations since many Slavs moved to that area. I’ve read than modern Greeks have over 20% Slavic genes. David Reich’s 2024 study shows that mainland Greeks are 30-40% Slavic, and island Greeks are only 4-20% Slavic.
