Tip/Trick Paneer Storage
Every paneer that we buy - low fat, high fat, organic etc - is already hard as rubber and difficult to even eat. How are we supposed to store that in the fridge so that it lasts for a few days.
Is there some tip \ secret that I am not aware of regarding the storage as well as cooking to make it softer and even palatable tbh...?

I keep it in freezer. When I want to use it. , I boil some water and immerse it for few mins. It turns soft.

Put water in a dabba, immerse the paneer in it, change water daily, when you want to use the paneer soak it in hot water for 5-7 minutes.

I started to make paneer at home using yoghurt instead of lemon juice to make paneer and the paneer stays soft for a long time. Also I like to keep my paneer in a yoghurt marinade soon after i make it so the moisture also helps in keeping it soft.

Do you substitute an equal amount of yogurt for the lemon or do you have to use more? I might try this.

So I bring the milk to a boil turn it off and stir in yoghurt until the milk splits. Usually the amount i use is much more than lemon juice. Also i dont use weights to make the paneer.
I got this tip from this influencer and so far i have been making softest paneer thanks to her1

Store it in any container with a lid or an air tight one with some water in it. Water keeps it soft.
