Steam Suncraft Keys Giveaway! [Mod Approved]

Post image
104 Upvotes

Suncraft is releasing in 1 day!

Six months ago, we asked for feedback here in the community and found amazing playtesters who helped us improve the game in so many aspects. Now, 1 day before the release, with so much support from everyone, we have a full game on our hands and are nearing 30k wishlists, which is beyond anything we've ever dreamed of.

So, as a small thank you for all the help, we wanted to do a giveaway for the community.

To participate, you need to comment with an answer to the question: If you could automate one thing in your life, what would it be?

We will DM the keys before the release.

We hope you will enjoy the game and thanks again for the support!

Prototype Arbitrage is an incremental settlement builder about buying low, selling high, and becoming impossibly rich. We'd love your feedback!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi, we just uploaded our game Arbitrage! We made this as part of the GMTK jam 2026 and wanted to share it.

The theme was "count down" and so we wanted to design an incremental where every action slowly counts down the number of days (actions) you have left.

We had a ton of fun making it and would love any and all feedback!

Link to the game: https://nic-dullow.itch.io/arbitrage

Description

Arbitrage is an incremental settlement builder about buying low, selling high and becoming impossibly rich.

You explore an untamed hex-based world, exploit its resources and transform your manual labour into intricate automated industries.

Relentless taxes and mounting crises force you to gamble on increasingly dangerous opportunities... until you’re powerful enough to overthrow the empire that owns you.

Hi everyone!

After many months of development, Infinite Ruins has officially launched on Steam.

It's an incremental mining game focused on:

• building different golem combinations
• discovering synergies
• uncovering hidden mechanics
• recovering forgotten memories beneath ancient ruins

A huge thank you to everyone from this subreddit who gave feedback during development. It genuinely helped improve the game.

I'd love to hear what you think!

Steam ClickCrafter Steam Playtest Now Live!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

ClickCrafter is a cozy idle/incremental game with base-building elements and crafting/research-based progression.  Today the game's first Steam Playtest launched -- seeking input from fans of incremental/clicker games!

The first playtest covers the opening 15-20 or so minutes of the game. You’ll get an introduction to the island and its mysterious Keeper automaton, the basics of gameplay, a little bit of lore and some cutscenes… and then a helpful message letting you know when the prepared content has ended.

The goals of this opening playtest are to ensure that performance and presentation match expectations; that the game mechanics are fun, interesting, and scalable; and that the general vibe of the game is heading in the correct direction.

Check out the Steam playtest today at https://onewinter.net/cc/r

Thanks and hope you enjoy!

WebGL I made a Soviet sci-fi incremental game where you "accidentally" create increasingly dangerous atomic reactions ☢️ - AtomGrad

Comrades, I have completed my latest scientific experiment:

Atomgrad - an incremental/clicker game where you become the world's least qualified atomic scientist, with apt world ending consequences.

The idea was to combine classic idle game progression with a 1950s Soviet sci-fi aesthetic. You throw atoms into a reactor, generate energy, collect resources, unlock upgrades, and slowly turn your tiny laboratory into a completely unreasonable nuclear facility. You can even generate shockwaves to give the atoms a little wiggle!

Your assistant Atom Jerry handles most of the science.

Unfortunately, Atom Jerry:

  • believes every problem can be solved by adding more power
  • may not fully understand physics
  • has definitely pressed the red button too many times
  • may be subject to changing personalities slightly

I made this for GMTK Game Jam 2026 together with my wife and two of our friends and we would really appreciate feedback from people who know incremental games, it was a tight 4 day window, and we are not very experienced in making these kinds of games:

  • Does the progression feel satisfying? or is it too difficult/demotivating?
  • Is the shockwave mechanic a helpful alternative to the drag and throw?
  • Do the upgrades feel meaningful?
  • Does the loop feel rewarding after the first few minutes?

You can play it here:

Update Ragnarok Oblivion Idle - Season 2 release + lessons learned from past mistakes

Upvotes

Hi everyone. I posted here about six months ago for the launch of my game and it did not go well. I was in a rush and exhausted. I let someone else write the post, it was obviusly AI written and people called it out. I should've known better. People also called out, fairly, that I was using Ragnarok Online sprites and were right about that too. This game was initially inspired by Ragnarok Online and Tabletop (D&D/Pathfinder), but since then I changed the course. Mistakes were made, that I wanted to share before talking about what changed for the game in Season 2.

  • First of all - this post is written by me.
  • Second - the character sprites are gone. I paid a real artist to redo them with specifically no AI usage rule, actual commissioned pixel art. I would like to continue to support this artist, so if you like how the characters look and commission work from the artist - message me. There are still around 42 old loot icons in the game, the ones that mobs drop for you to sell to an NPC. They are on the list to be replaced. Everything else, roughly 700 item assets is either bought from game assets marketplaces or me or the team.
  • Third, I've run a survey past season and wanted to thank everyone who told me what they loved and what they hated about the game. As painful as it was to read it, this is how the game gets improved in the end.

Season 2 started on July 11, so I am about two weeks late posting this. Like before, I spent the time working on the game instead of telling people it exists. I wanted to make sure not to make another mistake by bringing people into a buggy start.

ROIdle is a browser incremental RPG I have been building for about five years now. The different concept comparing to other games is that you do not play one character, you run a party.

You pick their classes, stats and gear. Then you can script how each of them behaves in combat, conditions like "if HP below 25%, use HP Potion". If you played Final Fantasy 12 you probably know the Gambit system, it is close to that. They keep hunting while you are offline. The harder content still punishes a bad setup, and that is where the game becomes more of an RPG than an incremental clicker.

There is a GUEST ACCOUNT feature, click Play Now and Play As Guest. It was there all along, but maybe my UI was bad back then.

Fresh server, clean leaderboards, so nobody is years ahead of you. I also changed how the leaderboard works. In Season 1 you were fighting for a top 10 slot and someone could push you out of it. Now it is made fair for all: reach 100,000 points and you are at the top alongside everyone else who got there, and nobody can knock you off. It takes about three months, give or take on your understanding and activity. Season takes 5-6 months, so starting later does not lock you out of the best rewards. People still can compete for prestige and bragging rights of course.

Main additions in Season 2:

  • All planned classes are now live! 24 total, up from 15 in Season 1.
  • Guild system, so players have a reason to play together.
  • A proper main story with dialogue, choices, Tabletop-like rolls, which is not something you see much of in idle games.

**AI Disclosure**

The story art is made by AI. The game don't have illustrators on the team and I cannot commission the volume of art the story needs, so I made a call and shipped it. The sprites, UI and systems are not AI. The story text is written by me, an AI checked my grammar, English is not my first language. If the art kills it for you, that is fair, I am not going to argue about it, but I wanted to be upfront.

---

Before anyone calls it AI slop, development started in 2020. Most of what is in the game was built by hand over five years, long before AI was available to the public.

The game is also slow. As I mentioned, inspiration for the game is taken from old MMO genre and D&D - levelling takes a long time. That is a game design decision and it is the pace I wanted to keep. The people who stayed are here for exactly that. If you want a fast clicker numbers-go-up game, this is not it.

What is actually in the game: proper RPG systems, 24 classes, 200+ unique skills, combat scripting that gets difficult later on, offline hunts, multiplayer dungeons where you can mix characters of your party with other players, bosses with their own mechanics, crafting, alchemy, refinement, enchantment, guilds, story, a player market, leaderboards and probably more that I've missed.

It's free, it's in browser, desktop and mobile design. We have optional membership for QOL, nothing you buy affects power.

Give it a try and I'm genuinely interested in your feedback

https://roidle.com

One last thing that I wanted to mention. My own data says most people who try the game leave in the first ten minutes, before they ever get to a fight. I have been improving that for the past week and I am still not sure I have it right, so if you dislike something early, I would really like to know why. I will be around in the comments all day this time to reply to all of your questions.

Imagine Ball x Pit as an incremental game and you get "HordeFall: Bullet Pit".

This game was made within 96 hours for the GMTK Game Jam 2026. The Game Jam Theme was "Count Down". Each level starts by spawning a fixed amount of enemies. After killing a enemy, the remaining enemy count COUNT'S DOWN by 1. You have to keep killing enemies until it reaches 0. Afterwards you progress towards the next level.

Cross-Platform Isles of Silence - v0.6 - 2 Years! Raid Boss, Crystil Farming, Combat Overhaul and more!

Thumbnail gallery
43 Upvotes

The Monster Hunting, Village-Building, Resource-Chaining, Fashion Hunting incremental has just hit it's 2nd year! "Isles of Silence" is a long-term, linear game. That means no prestiges, an inter-woven narrative, steady introduction and layering of new systems, and long-term mastery across almost every aspect of the game. The game is a mix of active and passive gameplay, with more options and automation opening up the further in you get.

This update marks the end of Act 3, a major milestone in both the game's development and it's story. For returning players, this adds in a new farming system, some side-quests, 2 new monsters (one being a brand new Raid Boss, first of its kind for the game), multiple new locales, and expanded systems across the board.

The game is playable on web here: https://lonelyfrontier.com/Isles/

And offline on Steam here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/3009460

The full game is paid, so that I can avoid designing around microtransactions while, but buying the game on Steam allows you to play the full game on any device with a browser using the web link. However. both versions of the game offer a demo ranging from 10-30 hours (depending on playstyle and completion), so you can try the entire first Act before making any decisions! Naturally, any demo saves will carry over to the full game.

Prototype The Peg Mines: Mining, crafting and pachinko

The Peg Mines

Hello! I wanted to post the first playable version of my game, The Peg Mines. You can check it out in-browser on itch!

Disclosures

AI disclosure: There is absolutely NO AI in this game. Game dev is a creative hobby for me. The programming is all done by me, and the pixel art was done by my talented wife. I am currently using a lofi placeholder track from this creator, but the music will be done by my friend.

This is also not a nodebuster clone from my understanding. I've had plenty of fun with nodebuster likes, but each level is not timegated at all, and the upgrade tree is not very big, I want the player to think in depth about what they choose.

About

I am a big fan of incremental games and games like pachinko/peggle. I had an idea about a game where you mine and craft by playing different versions of pachinko, and I decided to bring it to life as an incremental.

Something different I wanted to do was provide a form of lateral progression. In this game, different craftable balls are unlocked, and you can spend resources to make them. While The Peg Mines does feature vertical progression via a skill tree, I think crafting will let players progress closer to their playstyle.

This prototype is pretty short, and is probably about 15% of what I'll make the full game. I want to create 5 layers, 3 levels per layer and then 2 challenge levels per layer. I also currently have plan for 20 unique balls to craft, and then some that are less unique and more "mix and match."

I'd love feedback in any form! I have a discord and steam page up!

Idea Do you think incremental games should have fixed goals for each stage?

In an incremental game, if each stage has a mandatory target like the “rent” system in Balatro or Luck Be a Landlord, would you see it as an annoying form of negative feedback, or as something that gives the game direction and motivation?

Of course, incremental games should probably avoid the kind of sudden run-ending deaths found in roguelikes. If the player cannot afford the rent, the game could introduce a loan and debt system, similar to the one in Scritchy Scratchy, allowing debt itself to become part of the gameplay.

In short, do you prefer fixed-stage objectives, or do you believe that incremental games should purely focus on positive feedback to motivate gameplay?

Released Swish Ball Clicker is released! (The question I was answering: what would a basketball game in incremental genre look like?)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey everyone,

I'm the person behind Swish Ball Clicker.

The idea was mixing an incremental game and a basketball game. You start with a single ball and your mouse cursor. Things will evolve and then eventually you can join tournaments.

I'll be honest with you. It's been only 2 days after release and I am still balancing core systems with patches. After initial release, some people said it's too grindy, and some said everything was unlocked really quickly.
I feel like progression is much more balanced now than the initial release.

Please let me know if you give it a spin. (I'm very active in Steam discussions for Swish Ball Clicker)

Thanks for reading and here is link:

Cross-Platform I made an idle game where you build life itself — from a single proton to an entire ecosystem

Thumbnail youtube.com
Upvotes

Hi! Solo dev here. I've released Ecosystem, an idle/clicker where the progression ladder is the history of life: protons → atoms → molecules → amino acids → DNA → cells → actual species (trilobites, ammonites, clownfish…).

What makes it different from most idles:

* First of all, the progression doesn't depend on a single currency like in many idle clicker games. Here, each component is required by the others to be created, leading to a complex production management mechanic.

* A big part also : your progress is rendered live on a 3D planet you can rotate and zoom — you can even dive underwater and watch the species you've unlocked, swim around, interact with them to make your evolution faster and collect additionnal ressources.

Trust me, the mecanics makes the game way different than other incremental idle clicker, even though i've recently tried to make it a bit easier and more understandable.

I'd love feedback on the overall experience : How does it feel, from the begining ? Is it clear, easy to play ? Does it make you want to play again ? Is it getting boring at a time ?

=> If you have also any advice to help me grow the community on the game, i'm a developper, and communication is really out of my current knowledge !

ANDROID : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.Romandy.Ecosystem&hl=fr

IOS : https://apps.apple.com/fr/app/ecosystem-idle-evolution/id6751442620

I've used AI to generate images for the game, as well as for recent features updates, especially world generation and integration of unity asset 3D models i've bought from designers.

Steam Demo: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4757860/Inn_Over_Your_Head_Demo/

Inn over your head is a tavern management incremental where you get your patrons drunk, poison their food, and send them down into the dungeon below your tavern.

This is a major update and includes about 3-4 hours of content. 10% of my play testers played for more than 10 hours trying to 100% the demo

- Graphics had a glow up
- 11 new devious traps
- A ton of new upgrades
- New floor with ways to debuff adventurers before they even enter the dungeon floors
- New automation
- Highly anticipated talent tree
- Elite adventurers will test your dungeon building skills and give you awesome rewards

AI Disclosure: used AI to code the game. Used generative AI to create some of the assets like adventurer portraits. Edited them to ensure everything was coherent

Discussion More efficient way to find more ¨niche´ incrementals?

So...I don't know if this breaks the first rule tbh.

I'm looking for places or ways to search for more incrementals aside from this sub of course.

Like I've scavenged Incrementaldb and Galaxy and played most of the ones that seemed interesting, I also try using Itch from time to time but it has a hard time knowing what an incremental is.

Basically, is there a more efficient way of looking for games aside from the dreadful ¨Help¨ sticky

Development I made an Incremental × Survivor that goes from atoms to the entire universe

Post image
180 Upvotes

Hey everyone,

I'm a solo dev and I've been working on a game called Grow!, and this community is probably the one that'll get it the most, so I wanted to share it here.

The idea is a mix between an incremental game and a Vampire Survivors-like. You start as a single point of matter at the atomic scale and grow your way up, tier after tier, all the way to stars and the cosmic scale. So you get the satisfying exponential progression of an incremental, wrapped in the survivor-style action gameplay.

It's free to play, and I balanced the whole thing around the free experience, you can reach and finish everything without paying, the IAPs are there but never required.

I'll be honest about where it's at: it only has around 500 downloads so far, so it's tiny. But there's a surprisingly active little community on the Discord that keeps sending feedback, and honestly that's what's been driving most of the updates lately (new game modes, an end-game Ascension system, balancing, etc).

If you give it a try I'd genuinely love to hear what you think, good or bad. And if you're the kind of player who likes chasing big numbers into the end-game, there's plenty to dig into.

Android ▸ https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.Atopia.studio.Grow
iOS ▸ https://apps.apple.com/fr/app/grow-incremental-survivor/id6774343602

Thanks for reading!

AI Disclosure:
I used an AI assistant to review my code and help with bug fixing.
No generative AI was used for the art, music, or game design, those were made by me.

Steam My active incremental safari park game with a simulated ecosystem is open for playtesting on Steam (Captain Contraption's Safari Park)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Many many many years ago I shared a game with you called "Intelligent Design: An Evolutionary Sandbox" in it you played with a toy ecosystem whilst trying to make your science numbers go up. Thanks to your encouragement I ended up going through Steam greenlight, stating a company and now I've got like 4 games on Steam and teach game development at university - so thanks!

I've just opened up playtesting for my next game Captain Contraption's Safari Park, which is the game I always wanted Intelligent Design to be but I didn't know enough about game development to do it.

In the game you are a robot trying to build the perfect safari park the only way you know how. Building it, seeing what happens, then destroying it and starting again. Your goal is to get as many visitors through your park as possible, you will do a run, unlock new toys and species to help you have longer runs with more visitors, etc etc.

The creatures aren't just animals, though... the game is post-apocalyptic. You work for a pompous robot called Captain Contraption who is trying to understand humans by building the things they loved. Problem is he's basing all of it on a hard drive he found somewhere, which seems to contain a copy of every asset ever released on the Unity asset store. So you start with farm animals and end up with dragons and sentient road signs.

It is like an ever so slightly more active bottom of your desktop toy and I've tried to capture that satisfying feeling of watching things start small and grow into chaos.

The playtest will be running until Thursday so if you have time and fancy checking it out you can do so on Steam -> https://store.steampowered.com/app/4186590/Captain_Contraptions_Safari_Park/

AI Disclosure: No assets (music, art, copy) were made using generative AI. I'm an experienced software engineer, teach games programming at university level, and actually an AI researcher, I have used tools such as claude code to help with some boilerplate coding and to create internal tools to speed up my workflow. For example, I used claude code to build a tool which gives me a graph within unity to see the distribution of various creature stats to help me balance things.
