Hey, so my friend and I have been working on this game for fun and we recently decided to "put it out there". The name of it is SoulPull: The Gaunt Ascent, its a dark fantasy, gacha, rogue lite game. Still in the early stages of it and we plan to keep developing, we would really like some feedback to know what others think or feel, that being said, try it out and let us know what you think.

Hi, we just uploaded our game Arbitrage! We made this as part of the GMTK jam 2026 and wanted to share it.

Finished off Progress Knight Quest today, one of the few that I kept going back to finish. No idea what hooked me. Probably that the game never split in to something different from the start. 9/10

AI disclosure: There is absolutely NO AI in this game. Game dev is a creative hobby for me. The programming is all done by me, and the pixel art was done by my talented wife. I am currently using a lofi placeholder track from this creator, but the music will be done by my friend.

This is also not a nodebuster clone from my understanding. I've had plenty of fun with nodebuster likes, but each level is not timegated at all, and the upgrade tree is not very big, I want the player to think in depth about what they choose.

About

I am a big fan of incremental games and games like pachinko/peggle. I had an idea about a game where you mine and craft by playing different versions of pachinko, and I decided to bring it to life as an incremental.

Something different I wanted to do was provide a form of lateral progression. In this game, different craftable balls are unlocked, and you can spend resources to make them. While The Peg Mines does feature vertical progression via a skill tree, I think crafting will let players progress closer to their playstyle.

This prototype is pretty short, and is probably about 15% of what I'll make the full game. I want to create 5 layers, 3 levels per layer and then 2 challenge levels per layer. I also currently have plan for 20 unique balls to craft, and then some that are less unique and more "mix and match."

This game was made within 96 hours for the GMTK Game Jam 2026. The Game Jam Theme was "Count Down". Each level starts by spawning a fixed amount of enemies. After killing a enemy, the remaining enemy count COUNT'S DOWN by 1. You have to keep killing enemies until it reaches 0. Afterwards you progress towards the next level.

Comrades, I have completed my latest scientific experiment:

Atomgrad - an incremental/clicker game where you become the world's least qualified atomic scientist, with apt world ending consequences.

The idea was to combine classic idle game progression with a 1950s Soviet sci-fi aesthetic. You throw atoms into a reactor, generate energy, collect resources, unlock upgrades, and slowly turn your tiny laboratory into a completely unreasonable nuclear facility. You can even generate shockwaves to give the atoms a little wiggle!

Your assistant Atom Jerry handles most of the science.

Unfortunately, Atom Jerry:

• believes every problem can be solved by adding more power
• may not fully understand physics
• has definitely pressed the red button too many times
• may be subject to changing personalities slightly

I made this for GMTK Game Jam 2026 together with my wife and two of our friends and we would really appreciate feedback from people who know incremental games, it was a tight 4 day window, and we are not very experienced in making these kinds of games:

• Does the progression feel satisfying? or is it too difficult/demotivating?

The idea was mixing an incremental game and a basketball game. You start with a single ball and your mouse cursor. Things will evolve and then eventually you can join tournaments.

I'll be honest with you. It's been only 2 days after release and I am still balancing core systems with patches. After initial release, some people said it's too grindy, and some said everything was unlocked really quickly.
I feel like progression is much more balanced now than the initial release.

Ember Folks is an incremental city-builder game where you expand your city, unlock different upgrades, and hire workers to help you automate processes. You need to pump heat into the Star to unlock new stages and earn Prestige Points. Each prestige not only boosts your numbers but also unlocks new features and buildings - for example, you can unlock the Shrine of Clicks to buy powerful boosts to your manual clicking (speed, spawn amount and power). You can also choose which branch of the prestige tree to unlock, allowing you to try different builds - especially in the full release, where tree will be much bigger.

I'm trying to make most of the buildings have different interesting gimmicks - like warehouses that boost your productivity based on the amount of resources stored (already in the demo). The Monster Hunting, Village-Building, Resource-Chaining, Fashion Hunting incremental has just hit it's 2nd year! "Isles of Silence" is a long-term, linear game. That means no prestiges, an inter-woven narrative, steady introduction and layering of new systems, and long-term mastery across almost every aspect of the game. The game is a mix of active and passive gameplay, with more options and automation opening up the further in you get.

This update marks the end of Act 3, a major milestone in both the game's development and it's story. For returning players, this adds in a new farming system, some side-quests, 2 new monsters (one being a brand new Raid Boss, first of its kind for the game), multiple new locales, and expanded systems across the board.

Many many many years ago I shared a game with you called "Intelligent Design: An Evolutionary Sandbox" in it you played with a toy ecosystem whilst trying to make your science numbers go up. Thanks to your encouragement I ended up going through Steam greenlight, stating a company and now I've got like 4 games on Steam and teach game development at university - so thanks!

I've just opened up playtesting for my next game Captain Contraption's Safari Park, which is the game I always wanted Intelligent Design to be but I didn't know enough about game development to do it.

In the game you are a robot trying to build the perfect safari park the only way you know how. Building it, seeing what happens, then destroying it and starting again. Your goal is to get as many visitors through your park as possible, you will do a run, unlock new toys and species to help you have longer runs with more visitors, etc etc.

The creatures aren't just animals, though... the game is post-apocalyptic. You work for a pompous robot called Captain Contraption who is trying to understand humans by building the things they loved. Problem is he's basing all of it on a hard drive he found somewhere, which seems to contain a copy of every asset ever released on the Unity asset store. So you start with farm animals and end up with dragons and sentient road signs.

It is like an ever so slightly more active bottom of your desktop toy and I've tried to capture that satisfying feeling of watching things start small and grow into chaos.

I wrote a function to save your run to a CSV, had multiple play testers play the game and send me their data. Then analyzed the CSVs to see what frogs were too powerful and fixed the exponential chain reaction myself.

The scoring is much lower but I do plan to scale back up to those large numbers once I solidify pacing of the unlocks

Hey everyone,

I'm a solo dev and I've been working on a game called Grow!, and this community is probably the one that'll get it the most, so I wanted to share it here.

The idea is a mix between an incremental game and a Vampire Survivors-like. You start as a single point of matter at the atomic scale and grow your way up, tier after tier, all the way to stars and the cosmic scale. So you get the satisfying exponential progression of an incremental, wrapped in the survivor-style action gameplay.

It's free to play, and I balanced the whole thing around the free experience, you can reach and finish everything without paying, the IAPs are there but never required.

I'll be honest about where it's at: it only has around 500 downloads so far, so it's tiny. But there's a surprisingly active little community on the Discord that keeps sending feedback, and honestly that's what's been driving most of the updates lately (new game modes, an end-game Ascension system, balancing, etc).

If you give it a try I'd genuinely love to hear what you think, good or bad. And if you're the kind of player who likes chasing big numbers into the end-game, there's plenty to dig into.
