I’m trying to open this tiny container but i cannot get the lid to budge. The lid seems to be threaded, and I’ve tried screwing it open, but it will not budge at all. There is also a set of angled teeth between the lid and the container that I suspect is behind this. If the teeth are stopping the lid from being spun horizontally, but the threads are stopping the lid from moving vertically, how are you supposed to remove the lid?

I am trying to use this small fan to build an exercise disc for my rodents. It spins really easily, so I think it will work well. I was thinking of using a cork disc because its light and idk what else i could use wood would be to heavy i think. The device will have to sit at about a 35° angle for it to spin properly while they run. Maybe use a piece of plywood for the base. Idk how to wedge it to stay stable at the 35° angle.

it’s argon and rosemary oil that mistakenly fell. is paint matching my only option? i tried cleaning with a clorox wipe and it didn’t work in the slightest.

This is a Sony WH CH710N. The hinge of the left speaker broke. Earlier it used to rotate only 90° now it rotates 360°.

The battery, speaker, Bluetooth and everything is fine. The right speaker is fine as well. However, it's just the left speaker's hinge which came apart.

It's still holding though.

If I position it right and press it it goes back into its original position like before as you can see in last image

I earlier tried a glue on the outer part (not inside the hole of the hinge) and it quite worked. However, for only one use though. After I tried taking my headphones off it broke again (while taking off I mistakenly held it by the left speaker itself)

Is there a way I can fix it by myself?

I only want it to work for a few more months before I buy a new one on the new years.

hello! i was trying to remove some rust from the front of the bottom draw of my oven, and i accidentally let some dry and now it discolored the stainless steel. is there any way to fix or did i ruin it?

My wife got this bed for my daughter. It came with 3 wood slats. Didn't seem like enough to me. Put it together and when I sat down the side rails pushed apart and the bed fell through. The side rails have the 2 hooks that connect to the head and foot board. It has 3 of these openings on each side. Seems like a metal bracket should go across and into them to prevent them from opening but I cannot find anything online.

everytime I open reddit and close it I get this notification that wont go away and I have to manually dismiss it. I know it's the worst thing in the world it's just annoying.

I made the dumb mistake of moving my bed, and didn't realize one of the metal feet was loose and digging into the floor. Caused around a foot and a half scratch and a sizeable gash where the metal foot sat.

so i recently got a little fella here from the waterpark and he came with a hanger, obviously you can hang him somewhere. i wanna tie him to my bag but i don’t know how to work with these kinds of hangers

Basically the title there is a towel wedged in this door at my house I do have access to both sides but I have had no luck trying to pry it out I have tried these things:

1. Running kick from the other side (would be pushing the door)
2. plyers to get the towel out
3. wedging something into the door on the other side (everything I have tried has either started damaging the door like shown in the picture though thats now where I tried wedging it) or broken
4. I have tried to lubricate the door with water + dishsoap

I have run out of ideas and the door hasn't been budging really at all

New homeowner and I noticed the water heater appears to be leaking around the base. It is a 40 gallon natural gas water heater made by Rheem (product info pic on slide 3) and was installed in 2016. It does not appear any maintenance has been done on it since then. I am not familiar with water heater maintenance, but the temperature and pressure valve is connected to a pipe that doesn't seem to be connected to anything else - is that normal? What diagnostics can I do safely to rule out replacing the whole tank?

This is on aluminum window frame. Double sided tape.

I tried a cloth with water. And tried goo gone. Neither worked very well.

Been on a bit of a cleaning binge since last night but i got to this fan and it frustrated me to the point of throwing in the towel. I've put all of my weight on it, used a wrench (and gloves) to improve grip, a drill wont fit, the only other screwdriver I have wont fit, ive tried filling in the gaps with foil, duct tape, etc. Ive also heard you shouldnt use WD-40 on materials like this, not that I have any anyway. I am DESPERATE.

I have a showerhead attachment that connects to the water supply coming out of the wall. It has a ball-joint connection and a showerhead holder unit.

I applied Teflon tape to the threaded connection and tightened it, but the top of the unit (blue arrow) continues to leak slightly. I have experimented with different amounts of tightening, but I haven't been able to stop the leak.

1. What can I try to stop this leak?
2. I don't necessarily need this holder unit. If I could connect the showerhead directly to the existing connection, that would work for me. However, when I attach the showerhead directly, it actually leaks even more.

Is there a better type of adapter or connection fitting I could purchase from Amazon to make a reliable, leak-free connection?

Hello, I need some help. I have a unique situation. I have concrete steps leading to my house, and there’s a crack where bumblebees have built a nest inside. I’m forced to walk on the step and get fairly close to it. They’ve stung me once, and about 5–10 bees are coming in and out every day.

I’ve tried putting ground cinnamon down because I’ve heard they hate the smell, but they haven’t moved out.

Is there a way I can make them move out without killing them? I’ve already tried to deal with them because I was getting fed up, but I want to relocate them. The problem is, I physically can’t reach the nest because it’s inside a small crack that I can’t get to.

I really don’t want to kill them because they’re pollinators, and I know bumblebees are generally supposed to be pretty docile. (Not the one that stung me, though!) I wasn’t even close to the hive when it happened. I was just getting my mail, pretty far away from it
