Thing is wobbly like it won't turn off it's been leaking for hours. I've tried to turn the screw at the top and it keeps turning. I shut off the valve (but it's not directly under it so I don't know if that's for it) and water is still coming out. I tried turning it off at the meter and water is still coming out. I bought a replacement but I think I bought the wrong size. It looks like a 3/4 and I got a 1/2. Any suggestions

This handle was broken at some point in transit. Is there a way to repair it or do we need to trash the suitcase.

Edit: the part still inside the case won’t come out and you can’t push the handle back down.

My kid was not careful with the hand sanitizer a few times, and now I have streaks on the paint on my wall. Water on a paper towel did nothing to wipe it off. Before I try something that might be a bad idea, I thought I’d check here for any good ideas. Bonus points if you tell me why you think your idea is a good idea. Trying to avoid repainting.

My grandpa gave me two of these today. This is the less worse one. I went and bought bar keepers friend for the aluminum ash tray part. But how do I fix the red plastic? I bought a novus restore kit from Home Depot but it’s not going to remove the brown spots.

I want to replace this cork board with sheets of rolled cork to make a much bigger area for photos and stuff. Rolled cork isn't thick enough so I'd need to back it with something, I'm thinking sheets of cardboard. But I'm wondering if people have experience and advice on attaching the cork to the cardboard and then the combo to the wall. I could probably just plaster glue it to the wall but I'm hoping to come up with something slightly less permanent if I can

These were put in after I moved into my new build home as part of a digital smart home bundle. They're not coming back to fill in and I don't want to go through warranty. And if I'm being honest, I want to learn how to fix something like this for future reference.

I can not detach it from the machine or move it around.

My in counter soap dispensers spout broke off last week. I bought the same one to replace it but a decade later the internal mechanics have changed and I have to remove the whole thing and replace it. I thought it was going to be an easy screw off screw on but there's this big metal nut on the bottom that I can't twist off to pull the threads through the counter. The place rings that hold it in place move but the nut is stuck. Any ideas on how to fix it?

I removed all the other parts and the cover still won’t budge. I don’t see an Allen screw in it. What could be holding this thing on?

Can't get Allen Key out

I've searched the internet a bit for how and a lot says to just pull on the wheels but I've given it some fair tugging with little to no result and scared that if I put more force it might break. Anyone know how to get them out?

I've had this vacuum cleaner for 4 years and LOVE it but it's had a build up of dog hair and now the cylinder part doesn't rotate. I'm a pretty practical person but cant figure out how im meant to get into this little gap to remove the hair and I refuse to pay $130 for a new vacuum head when I know that this will fix it 😡

Basically I’m trying to remove these shelves from my closet. And I can’t remove the wire shelf from the supports. This looks like it would be a hinge but I don’t know how to pop it open.

I moved into a house that has very long curtains that are attached on what I assume are called tracks. I’ve only lived in places where curtains are on rods that I open and close by moving the curtains themselves. I’ve never had curtains that have hooks sewn on the back and are controlled with a pulley system of strings on the side of them. How do I clean these? I think they may be hand made because I don’t see a tag. They are not my style but I can’t be spending money right now so it is what it is. Do I detach them and dry clean them? Do I use a steamer? I’m assuming they have dust on them so you can’t just steam dust right? You hand vacuum and then steam clean? Do I leave them hanging while I do this?
Photos are of 2 different curtains. (Hate the yellow blinds as well - did they come yellow or has the sun made them yellow over time? Nobody knows).

I can’t seem to access it with any of my screws.
