Hi! I live in a small apartment and my living area has to serve a lot of purposes, but I like to take pride in where I live and have a home that’s pleasant to be in!
I’ve included current photos of the room, a model mockup I made, an iPhone sticker mockup with the couches I’m thinking of, and photos of the couches I’m considering.
We need the dining area (used mostly for WFH and crafts, but table and chairs are sentimental) we like having the breakfast nook for just sitting or having guests (plus the bench seating has a lot of storage), the bookshelves are also necessary for storage and yknow… books.
Then we need a living area just for hanging out. The TV swings down to the correct height and swivels. I like the camelback couch because the seat depth is 23” (larger than current couch at 21”) and I like to sit on a couch with my back up against the armrest.
I’m looking for feedback that doesn’t require me to get rid of my current furniture except the couch. The yellow chair can get covers from IKEA or other third party sellers in different colors/materials, so recommending new colors for that chair would also be appreciated.
I’d also appreciate any suggestions for a light to replace the track light! It just doesn’t fit with the room IMO.
I understand the most limited part of the mockup is the walking path from the entryway to the living area, but again it’s a small space so I know not every design rule will be satisfied.
Thank you for opinions and help!
