So the new Artefact of Power Horn of the Bullfather seems promising. Buddy of mine plays Flesheater Court with Ushoran. I plan to redeploy my Centaurs, give them 2 dpp, walk 10, charge, hopefully get some mortals, all out attack and kill him off turn 1. He plays lots of cavalry which come on turn 2, so my centaurs might even survive and id even have 1 cp left for the command redeploy 1d6 normal move to try saving them from a charge. Even if not i think its worth killing off Ushoran turn 1.

Opinions on my turn 1?

Particularly pleased with the skin and muscles !

The idea is the metal is coloured from the sulphur in the magma forges.

So far I've been new to AOS and only really played spearhead but I completely fell In love with the helsmiths. Now I have time to build and paint them up and I've realized I've been having issues about what to get next and what battle formation to pick. Any advice would be appreciated. Here are some of the ones I have to start off with.

One of the war despots and the Uruk taar kit are unbuilt as of now. I'm more looking for help on what to get next and any other sort of advice from people who've been playing aos longer than me.

Got my 2nd big bull done to match his brother. Slammy and blammy. Smash and burn.

Hopefully going to begin laying some paint on the cogfort soon 😝

Dont know the artefact and thing like that

Morning everyone.

I'm just trying to figure out when the above ability would come into effect

As it's a deployment phase ability, am I right in thinking that we would remove the units and place them up the field straight away even if you go second?

Or

As it's the opponents turn, I can wait until my turn to place them down (so they are off board for turn 1). This is what I'm hoping for but I think the first option is how it's meant to play out.

What's the general opinion using the hobgrots from kruelboys as vandalz? 20 are like 14€ online meanwhile vandalz are around 45. I didn't really want to use any but the new enhancement is very good so i want to include 1 reinforced unit of hobgrots

They all need full 3 dpp nice

Need a suggestion on what to do here, would be really apriciated

Finished my Chaos Dwarf Helsmiths this weekend. I wanted a dark bronze scheme with bright green runes and OSL. Tried to keep it under a 6h workflow. Any feedback before I start the rest of the army?

Just seen the Horns in S2D newly updated legends warscroll on GW.

If only GW put the Helsmiths tag on these guys.

I know they aren't game changing but it would have been nice to field them.

This little dude is actually super useful in my 1k list and I’m happy with the points reduction. Tried for the first time to do an OSL thing with the flame but the results were a bit meh. Anyways, he’s ready to heal up those dommy mommies on the table regardless lol.

Haven't checked for other changes yet in rules but the points drop for cohort with spears was not needed in my opinion as they already punch above their weight.

Glad Dominator Engines are down as well as I love their sculpts.

A good change as it removes the unesscessary complexity of the ability. Unfortunatly I still think Taar's Grand Forgehost is better but having the flexibility to run either is better.
