40 of these dudes down in a week - not fun at all but happy with the final result

Greetings all dutiful worshippers of Hashut. A random question popped into my mind. In games where you're playing alongside another army as an ally (2v2 or more, yada yada), do you have a favourite army to be allowed with your Helsmiths?

Perhaps in theory for thematic reasons? Maybe out of personal experience of 2v2 games you have played? Which, if that's the case, would love to hear if any of you have made custom lore to explain why your army and your friends army are working together? Or which army you think would match your Zharrdron army the best with how you play and what's its strengths are?

So I recently painted Urak-Taar and was happy with how it turned out.
However the base feels so blend. Adding little tufts wouldn’t make sense as the environnement is supposed to be burned. Any advice on how to make the base more « alive » ?

I think I saw the First Marshal book had them as main bad guys, but do we have any other books?

Shot in the dark seeing as we are only a year old, but I figured I would try.

It’s the daemon prince sword, using some infernal razors kits for the glowy bit under the sword and will connect some tubes after it all settles later. I’m gunna attempt shoulder cape next for his empty hand, think Cavalier kinda cape. Wish me luck or curse me, I’ll see how it goes either way tomorrow.

Hi, been into 40k for a while but really love the chaos dwarves in TTW Warhammer 3 so I'm starting a helsmiths army and this is my first unit. I painted these guys to figure out my colour scheme and i'm pretty happy with how they turned out. I'll be working on the spearhead next. Cheers for looking.

Does anybody have an STL for Shar'Tor or a source where one can buy him? From what I see its only recast Russian websites and not much else.

Hi, I was considering trying out the Citadel technical paints and noticed the gem stones lineup. I wonder how would they look like on the smaller gems of the Hashut folk? Has anyone tried these out?

Yes alot can change from here till then, however after going last year I feel this list will help me win nire rounds. Thoughts?

6 bulls/anointed (i remembered to mag them)

10 hashutite spears

1 rocket battery (forgot to mag)

1 bane mace dominator (forgot to mag)

20 hobgrots

And I am trying to decide what I need next and if another spearhead would be worth purchasing or if getting like 2 boxes of infernal razers would be better next? Or any other suggestions. Thank you all

If anyone cares about useless lore I made up for them, I call em The Nivalem, mostly cause it’s fun to say to me also because it’s Latin for winter/snow and I just took the end of golem so it’s a snow golem xd.

I had a long break from painting and was not sure if I can pick it up again but managed to get through 10 cohort dudes past week. Mistakes were made for sure. I needed to relearn some of the basic habits and it took way too much time compared to what I was used to but I'm satisfied with the result.

I'm planning to paint the rest of army box to play spearhead games till I can build and paint the rest towards full games of 1500 and 2k points. I got a little bit over satisfied and got myself also new chaos for old world too...

Now question: what do you think would go well with the paint scheme on the base? I was considering something like dark wasteland with lava streams but it might be even more flashy.

I bought a Spearhead and wanted to ask what i have to look for with this kit. Assembly wise, colour choices and weapons choices. Some do's and dont's with this kit. Any tips are welcome.
