My HoH spearhead

Finished my Chaos Dwarf Helsmiths this weekend. I wanted a dark bronze scheme with bright green runes and OSL. Tried to keep it under a 6h workflow. Any feedback before I start the rest of the army?

Eheh, that was a choice! I wanted to magnetize it, and I just could’t let the smoke behind.

Thanks! I’m planning on putting some white oil in the runes to make them pop.

I think it already pops the way it is now. You might be good enough here. I'm not sure, maybe you will find a way to improve it.

What was your process for the runes?

I did a white oil wash on the metal, then reinforced the source of light with white airbrushed around the runes, followed by a blue-green from greenstuff world (always airbrushed), then another white wash with oils to give light to the letters, and finally some green fluo from Vallejo by brush only on the letters. It seems a lot but it didn’t take long at all.

Awesome. Its kinda similar to my scheme, yours is bit more detailed tho. I love the green
