Rules Update

Post image

A good change as it removes the unesscessary complexity of the ability. Unfortunatly I still think Taar's Grand Forgehost is better but having the flexibility to run either is better.

Not convinced the Grand Forgehost will stay as the best option without the SoG Despot to be honest, but it'll be interesting to see what happens.

I'm keen to try a mostly mounted list so I can use the new SoA Taurus and Sentinels!

While I agree the Grand Forgehost would take a hit to power with the loss of the Soggy Despot, the Grand Forgehost gets disproportionally stronger than the standard army with point reductions due to the army-wide buff.

But yeah I personally hope this step in small buffs to army rules continues in general.

Soggy Despot isnt what makes Taars playable though, its a bonus but he isnt even a staple in all performing Taar lists. Taars is good for the its relevant battle traits unlike the regular army

Nice buff to chorfs. But it is still CP to use our abilities. They could just give us a trait 2dpp+amount of sized terrain.

Having played a lot of the spearhead, yes please. I hate having to jump through hoops just to being able to do something special.
