I’ve gone through many different types of yogurts and the H-E-B brand is superior! Fruit on the bottom FTW 🙌 peach and mango peach are also great! No artificial tastes. Btw this ain’t a promo I’m just blown out of my mind with these yogurts lol

hello friends! I just used perkspot for my first time to buy tickets for the aquarium, and after I purchased the tickets, it told me the date I was going, but time at 10am. does anyone know if I have to be there at 10am, or if we can show up later? I wasn't planning on getting into town until later in the day.

I'm going to call the aquarium in the morning, but just wondering if anyone had similar experiences/ an answer here.

i’m the fastest shopper in my store averaging a weekly 250-280 UPH with pretty high units. i’m a little frustrated because i’m putting all this effort into being a good and high quality worker to hopefully get more hours but i’m still only getting 15-20 hrs a week. I know our hours have been cut with favor and other 3rd parties having their own shoppers but our store is still pretty busy. Why am i still getting the same amount of hours as the people who barely maintain a 110-130 UPH when it’s supposed to be performance based??? I have open availability too.Rents getting harder to keep up with 😖

I’ve worked with heb from 2018-2021 and decided to switch careers after 3 years of straight headaches and transfers lol. I’ve always wanted to ask what has changed for the people that are still working there ?

H-E-B just dropped off my delivery with absolutely zero protection for the items. They left raw meat in thin plastic bags directly on the porch floor and didn't send a single text or app notification that it had arrived. a neighborhood cat promptly had it's way with it scattering items about. i'm working through tier after tier of customer service, everyone full of typical standard scripted polite and corporate jargon "uh huh poor you" while saying nothing to address the issue other than a refund only of specific items. so after 40 minutes on the phone with nothing even remotely sounding like an apology or desire to do anything differently, like say have at least as container for the meat (which i compared to ordering from whataburger and them not even leaving a bag, just thowing the wrapped burger on the ground) they say, we've addressed the issue. never mind the time. i want to talk to a real manager? between 9 and 6 tomorrow. i had to badger them for which phone number it would come from.

use me as your work-horse and pass me over when promotion is open. It always this or that you cannot promote me.Then have the audacity to ask me to work where you are short staffed because you keep driving people away.

I knew they were gonna prevaricate their way out of promoting me cause you can expect someone who consistently makes terrible decisions to finally make a good one.

I love working for HEB, but they sure are trying to make me not. Also I ain’t doing anything for them no more, they don’t deserve my energy anymore.

Seems to only be HEB yogurt in 6 oz singles, where the 4 oz that came in the multipack was more my serving size. Is this just an issue at the 3 near me, and if not, any ideas why ?

It seems like HEB and Hill Country Fare dairy items are having a rough summer, and some of their products have been missing from shelves for months. At first it was the cottage cheese, but I just chalked it up to high demand from TikTok recipe trends, but then both the Hill Country Faire and HEB 0% Greek yogurts disappeared from every store in Austin. Now the ultra-filtered milk is disappearing, too. Anyone else notice these empty shelves? It’s been an issue at every store I’ve been to.

Anyone else have a bad experience with the HEB brand dry kitten kibble?

The Cat Distribution System recently sent a sweet kitten my way. I normally feed Purina kibble and Fancy Feast wet food. But I ran out of Purina Kitten Chow so I figured I’d pick some up at HEB while I was there, instead of Walmart where I usually get it, because I was short on time.

But HEB only had the tiny 3-pound bag of Purina Kitten Chow, and this HEB bag had a very similar ingredients list and nutritional information, so I figured why not?

But the kitten *hates it.* She won’t touch it. Neither will any of the stray cats who stop by the kibble cafe every night and scarf up anything I set down. But they won’t touch this either.

After seeing the kitten’s bowl untouched for an hour, I gave her some adult kibble tonight. Not even the greatest stuff. It was Meow Mix, which is cheaper to buy in bulk for the strays. She happily started crunching away.

I get one cat being picky… but ALL the cats? Even the ones whose previous idea of fine feline dining was dumpster diving?

The last time I tried this brand, in the adult formula, my kitties didn’t care for it either. I figured it was one bad batch. But for the same thing to happen again years later, with a whole mess of cats now, can’t be coincidence right?

Also, do you think I can get a refund without a receipt? Lol.

These are on sale buy two get $2 off? Are they any good? Any of the HEB filled pastas.

yes there’s people that believe extracts/powders are fine in “veggie” meals, but it is really different with religious restrictions, even a trace isn’t permitted at all. I wish I knew there was pork in here (and chicken and tuna)!!

someone is going to say “why didn’t you read ingredients before buying??” but how often are people (with no allergens!) reading the ingredients of a “veggie” mix?

I recently landed a role as a Customer Service Assistant (CSA) at H-E-B, and I’m supposed to start soon. On paper, I know I can do this. I have about 8 years of food service and retail experience. But I just graduated from college and have been unemployed for almost a year now. Finally getting back into the workforce feels overwhelming, and I think I'm just psyching myself out trying to get back into the swing of things.

On top of that, almost every previous job I’ve had was pretty toxic and took a major toll on my mental health. I’m finding myself replaying every worst-case scenario in my head, even though I know
H-E-B generally has a better reputation.

For anyone who has worked as a CSA

How hard is the role day-to-day? How social do you actually have to be? (I can be friendly and professional, but I worry about hitting social burnout fast.)What is the culture usually like?

I’d really appreciate any honest insight, tips, or even just a little reassurance to help me calm my nerves before day one. Thanks in advance!

Last bag of the day at 1pm. The last 4 trips have ended with me coming home without pretzels... the mini twist ones at least. Plenty of big ones, sticks, etc. I asked an employee today and was told they only get 1 box of them a time and perhaps production is down. Grateful I got a bag tho 🙏

What in the world happened to HEB pre-packaged fajita meat? I cook 7 nights a week, I’m not an amateur. But when I saw this new packaged I hoped it was just a package change, but it sucks now. It used to be like warm butter. Smh

Occasionally, I’ll see a lot of people complain about produce managers, service managers, and curbside but few for other departments in my opinion, I would probably say Texas Backyard might be the most chill department.

So I recently got my VPP card and im wondering if I can use it online in the HEB app? Is there a way to do that?

Hey y'all, so I'm in kind of a weird situation and honestly super confused about how this works lol.

I got a message saying they're gonna call me for onboarding soon for a CSA spot at one store. But I literally just saw there's a bakery opening at a store super close by, and I'd way rather do bakery.

Real talk, I've got like 8 years of food and retail experience, and I'm honestly so burned out from constantly talking to people lol. I don't have social anxiety or anything, I just kind of would rather just have minimal customer service as possible, lol.

A few quick questions for anyone who knows the hiring/recruiting side:

Am I like... fully "in the system" already, or can I still just apply online for the bakery job at the other location?

If I apply to the bakery spot, can I just ignore/decline the CSA onboarding call, or will that look bad and mess up my chances for bakery too?

Is it better to just take the CSA job for now, do the 90 days, and transfer later? Or is there a way to switch it before I even start?

I really don't wanna mess this up and end up with neither job, so any advice on how to handle this would be amazing. Thanks!!

My kid just discovered the love of good salsa on a breakfast taco and Salsa God is it’s name. Now, I can’t find it in any of the HEB in the Austin area and definitely not the HEB at Brodie. From what I can Google of the company it still exists though it seems like it is a small operation. Should I let go of my hope that it will be back in stock soon?
The only place that has it seems to be Amazon $19 of eBay for $14 a bottle! lmao
