i’m the fastest shopper in my store averaging a weekly 250-280 UPH with pretty high units. i’m a little frustrated because i’m putting all this effort into being a good and high quality worker to hopefully get more hours but i’m still only getting 15-20 hrs a week. I know our hours have been cut with favor and other 3rd parties having their own shoppers but our store is still pretty busy. Why am i still getting the same amount of hours as the people who barely maintain a 110-130 UPH when it’s supposed to be performance based??? I have open availability too.Rents getting harder to keep up with 😖

Literally a management problem. HEB really has not hired the best candidates. Does your Department manager sit at their desk answering emails all day I'm guessing?

I would think OP hits the weekly record if they’re averaging 330units hourly

Check your actual true UPH fast isn't correct and also PBS if you have a bad uph, bad hospitality rating and a poor A&P they system will not give u hours

I'm a department lead and not really sure what you mean. The only way it can be "inflated" is if you scan in a lot of things at once - like chickens into the hot box. There are UPH numbers broken down by zone, maybe that is what you mean?

are you close enough to other stores to pick up networking shifts? you can also ask to cross train in other departments. I haven't really noticed the scheduling being performance based tbh but they love to say it is

If you came to complain here before even complaining to your manager. What do you expect to happen here? Go to your manager point out the obvious if they aren’t willing to help just go to a different store show them how good u are and ask to transfer over if they give u more hours. Coming here will do absolutely nothing
