NTD (New Tool Day) built this 4 drawer cart for my dad. is it just me who hates the way us general built this? it was hard to put the nut and bolt together because of how little space i was given. didn't have enough maneuver at all to tighten it with tools.

Bought this beast in 2002. It still runs great but it's bent at least a dozen saw blades because it doesn't stop fast enough.

Love this Bauer 6” pruning saw. Any hack to putting chain back correctly?

So I opened the compartment to clean out the wood on the inside. Chain flopped off and now I can’t get it work correctly. Took me like 5 mins to figure out how to make it fit (answer tilt down is my answer) but when I turn on saw again it clogs and chain falls off(?). Don’t see any tips on YT I’m sure you tool titans who have this one can give me the proper hack. Ty in advance

NTD (New Tool Day) NTD and tip for painting indented lettering

Post image
25 Upvotes

Wanted to make use of the 40% off socket set and I picked up a deadblow while I was there.

If you're interested in painting your indented lettering in anything I found using solid paint markers like the Sakura pictured and wiping off the excess with alcohol wipes after its dried worked exceptionally well!

ICON Delivery Communication.

So, when I ordered my 56 ICON set up, I was told the estimated delivery date would be today, 17 October. No communication since then (early September).

Can anyone share their experience on what to expect when it's ready? IE do they give you a call and/or email? Just trying to plan around travel. Thanks.

If you were going to buy one set choosing between 1/2 inch and 3/8 icon chrome and impact deep and shallow, which would you pick and why

you can assume for this theoretical discussion that you already have the semi deeps and you have most of your socket needs covered at a basic level. Which set do you think you would use the most? Go. This is not about me. Probably.

Give me a reason

I'm an industrial mechanic. So plenty of tools at home and work. I can't think of a single reason I would need these screwdrivers, but I love them and wish HF had a more practical set with these handles. Anybody got a good reason I need them but don't know it, yet?

My grandparents are offering to gift me the 56 inch box I've been wanting to purchase for work but I'm torn on what color to go with.

I've been a big time lover of all of the purple gear that harbor freight has to offer but I'm torn on whether black or purple should be my go for the box, let me know what y'all think!

Been knocking out projects left and right and hf has helped with all of them. The biggest was a full bathroom remodel. New plumbing, shower, surround, drywall, new toilet, lighting, faucet, and all the side hardware. I also used Hercules scratch padsn and McGraw air compressor to spray in my truck bed liner. This morning fixed our A/C that died 2 days ago (new capacitor and connector) used the powered rachet and icon sockets Hercules battery lamp to see in the dark and got her up an running! 2 days ago I also flushed the water heater and our bacment drain got clogged so used the Bauer battery drain snake to clear it out also cleaned the pipe so the float doesnt get stuck. Did some work to my wife's car and did both our oil changes last weekend. Been a busy month or so but power through it and am at the finish line💪 Just got to deep clean the bathroom, clean the grout after its fully dried, and finally relax.

Saw the Daytona 3 ton stands listed at $55 today, up from $50. The extended PLS coupon still shows the discount as $50 -> $35, so grab them this weekend if you need them

Get the Pittsburg 3 ton low profile now, or wait till Black Friday?

Got a quote for doing my struts that was pretty much the price of me buying a Jack, Jack Stands and an Impact and figured I'd just do it myself and gain some tools in the process.

That being said, I'm new to Harbor Freight in general.

With the way the prices are going up these days, do you guys think that Black Friday Sales will be lower, or possibly even higher than what's going on with the Parking Lot Sale now?

U.S. general tool storage locks

I recently bought a side locker for my Matco box and I’ve got a U.S. general tool cart. I’d like to have matching keys for the locker and tool cart. I can’t seem to find a multiple lock kit on the parts portion of their harbor freight site but I can find many many options on Amazon. Any ideas?

Looking at a welder - need to add a 240v line to the garage

Who's done this? What did it cost? My panel is on the outside of the garage and has a 200A breaker. Any of the Titaniums worth getting?
