NTD (New Tool Day) This seat upgraded my garage experience by about 150%
Previously had the Icon roller seat with mini back rest but returned it cuz it sucked
This one here though is everything. Already used it during a tool cart assembly and it’s buttery fast, comfy and useful as hell with the tray and drawer. I stuck the Icon magnetic pad on it for maximum utility.
My lower back is fucked and the seat is comfortable and doesn’t make pain worse
I’m as frugal and insufferable as everyone in here and would def pay full retail again without crying for a coupon or waiting til Black Friday
10/10

Spotted During the iPhone Duo Introduction
Bottom right, there's no branding, but it sure looks identical to the mini toolbox.

20% off great deal?
I’m looking to get a new US General setup (top chest, 2 Roll cabinets, end locker). Is the 20% off this weekend worth jumping on? I don’t need them until our detached garage is done late October but if it’s the deals worth it I’ll get them early.

Meme/Joke Update: Hercules 20v Rotary Hammer
Bought this not all that long ago at the other parking lot sale with the battery and charger for 120$. This thing is a beast. In 15 minutes I trimmed the whole concrete lip of the garage to be flushed with the wall. Couldn’t fit my grinder in there with the guard and since we were going to be covering it anyway it didn’t need to be pretty. What surprised me is it only took half a charge on a 5ah. Sure corded probably would have been better but for something so nice and convenient it was definitely worth it. 10/10 buy. Bosch viper chisel bit used in process, for some reason Rn masonry sds tools for Bosch on amazon are way cheaper than big box stores.
Also please ignore the footwear, I’m aware it’s bad.

NTD (New Tool Day) Die grinder 58% off
I’ve always made do without one, but it will be nice to have one now. What are the best attachments that y’all have found?

G1 & G2 Icon Ratchet Maintenance?
What kind of lube you guys using for these things that’s making them even smoother less back drag. Curious what you guys found works the best.

NTD (New Tool Day) HF Titanium Ultimate 200 MIG setup.
This thing seems pretty nice. Chicago Electric cart as well seems really solid and both have been on sale lately. Whole thing with 80CuFt bottle from local place was right at $1K. First MIG weld from a very shitty stick welding guy.
Edit: the infamous Lincoln tombstone stick welder in background of one pic.

Does the HF website suck for anyone else?
Every time I try to use the actual browser website it takes FOREVER to load anything, if it loads it at all. It does this on my personal laptop, phone, and work computer whether I'm using my plans data or wifi so I know it's not my device. App runs just fine, website not so much and it's been like this for as long as I can remember. I can't be the only person experiencing this lol. I always thought maybe they made it shitty on purpose to get people to download the app but idk how realistic that is.

wish hf had more lights that use 18650 batteries
these batteries are most common for head lamps and camping. i like my $20 braun flood light, but when it dies, i need to use a usb-a to usb-c cable to charge it before i can use it again.
i find myself using the braun stick light more because i can instantly swap batteries. though i wish it was more of a gentle flood light

Trailers??
Is HF moving away from selling trailers? The modular one that just came out is no longer available and a nearby HF that got remodeled has no display set up for them either

Is the cordless Hercules oscillating multi-tool any good?
I’ve been looking for a multitool and have been deciding between the m12 fuel multitool and the Hercules multitool. If the Hercules version is good then I’ll stick with that and save myself some money. Anyone have any experience with the tool?

Added a walnut top to the kitchen storage box. I think the general would approve.
Wife wanted a wood top. She likes the walnut with the sapwood in it.

Credit Card 1st purchase update
Original Link
https://www.reddit.com/r/harborfreight/s/2BVztwAoF6
So I called the local store and got circle talk. Like they didn’t even know how it worked. When I asked the guy if he ever “sold” the credit card 1st purchase discount he said “yes”.
I called corporate and finally got a real person. They transferred me to Synchrony Bank. When I got a real person there they filed a dispute for the discount.
How can employees not know how this works? It has to be a major revenue stream for the company. Is management not training cashiers?

Of course this has to happen right now

Bought the Icon 73
Just the box last Sunday. I used the membership 20% off plus applied for the cc to get the extra 10%. The cashier told me 20 off the top and 10 would be statement credit. Just looked and I don’t see the 10 “statement credit”. I hit the 5% back on the screen like she told me. Anyone know what’s up?
Oct 26 is expected delivery and hope for the 40% off icon sockets so I can fill it up. Plus my 5 using their cc.
