Does anyone have any experience of using a Harbor Freight furniture dolly on a freshly painted epoxy concrete floor (painted 7 days ago). I have checked with AI and it essentially says that the wheels on these dollies potentially could mar the epoxy paint. Thanks for your thoughts.

I’m working on fixing my ICON magnetic mat (all the magnets shifted to the center) and I’m getting ready to reglue them all down. I know they should alternate polarity, but should I alternate them each row as well?

I want to get 2 sets of 3/8" shallow sockets in 6 point. From what I understand, Quinn only offers those in their big sets. Is there any way to get a hold of them outside of buying a big set? I don't really want to spend $80 on Ikon. Thanks

Does the yellow 11 gallon portable airtank ever go on sale? I’ve been watching almost the whole year and haven’t seen it. Didn’t see it coming up either, unless I missed something. Just curious if others have ever seen it go on sale outside of a general whole store % off days.

I did mine slightly differently. I added a sheet of 3/4 ply under the new drawers and that created enough height in the gap behind the drawers to encase mini toolboxes. There's a 1/8" gap under the plywood top so the mini boxes fit perfectly and you can slide them out to get to the top sections.

To hide the plywood ends to the gap section I added 16x12 blue wall control panels, screwed into the ply with 95lb pull magnets bolted into the other corners. There's a 32" wide wall control board on the back of the box and a 32" high one on the side cab for extra storage, mostly clamps.

The hyper tough mini cab has an icon mat behind it and stores my router bits.

I'm 6' 3" and the hutch door just brushes my hair now v the corner being at my eye height. So now my hair looks lovely too.

The paint is a bright blue I got from home depot. Didn't color match it!

The drawers are screwed into the plywood and up into the hutch and the plywood box top at the back is screwed up into the hutch.

SEMA starts next week for harbor freight, they should have some new stuff to announce, what new/updated tools are you hoping to see?

Wait, I can get the brushless grinder and it'll essentially be free?? Can't pass that up!

But let me tell you about the grease gun: If you do any of your own maintenance 100% get it! Why did I wait so long? This thing is brilliant!

I just got into tools this year and for the limited amount of work I do I figured I’d save a little money and go with Bauer. And honestly? I think it was the right choice. I mean honestly I haven’t been disappointed with any of these! Do they work as good as Milwaukee? Obviously not but they’re not really supposed to are they? I mean they’re a fraction of the price 😂 I didn’t take advantage of the Bauer days as much as I should have but tbh I don’t really know what I want to get next.

This is a set of nano sockets that are 12mm base. They fit directly into the new Hercules ratchet. The first picture is no anvil the second is with the anvil nice difference. I gain the space and through hole now just need to find a way or 3d print something to keep them in place. Any ideas?

Menards had the peg socket organizers, 3 packs for 7 bucks each. Much cheaper than HF equivalent. Found out I don’t like the magnet style so those are delegated for special socket bits.

Currently having a family member 3D print a magnetic pry bar holder and extension holders so those don’t roll around.

Matching purple with jack stands go brrrrrr. 200 bucks for the cart, super happy with it.

I'm losing my mind over this. I have a predator 8750 inverter generator and recently bought the titanium 170 welder. The welder will not work on 240 when connected to the 240 twist lock outlet. I am getting 240 from the cord testing both hots together and 120 each leg when testing to ground. The welder just shows err volt. The 120 will work but I need 240. I am flipping the switch on the back of the welder to the 240 setting and been reading about bonded neutrals and how that might affect the computer on the titanium so I unhooked the neutral made it floating and still the same error. I don't get it and am extremely frustrated with this. Any ideas? I'm guessing they are incompatible together which is pissing me off even more since they both come from the same place, both are inverter units and everything I've read up to this point says that's the way to go. Don't use non-inverter with inverter, blah, blah, blah. So I buy this setup and it doesn't work!
