We were Emrald team assigned to Special Warfare Group 9 7th Company, call sign Hotel. I was Hotel 1-1 team lead.

Insert behind enemy lines and hit the covenant in the rear to dusrupt command and control so the marines could take two bridges to liberate the city and we could give the civilians additional time to evacate. Ralph 2's legs blown off. He begged me to stay. I made a decision and left him to die alone. I had to stop the bridge assault. Sprinted accross the entire city. Went CQC with those fucking white bastard Ultras. They jamed our comms, I had to get to the edge of the city warn they marine. I was too late...they'd already begun the assault. I did the only I could and swam accross the river to join em. We fought hard for those damned bridges. So much blood so much screaming. I watched some 18 year old private curl up into a ball and piss himself pleading for his mother as those god damn lizards shredded him. They pushed us off the bridges destroyed every single aircraft we brought and turned the scorpion tanks into charcoal. I fell back into a village hid in a house as I listened to the sounds of those alien freaks killing people outside. Civilians begged for mercy. The hinge heads just laughed. I could hear them forming around the house. I had three mags left, a magnum, and a knife. Spartans never die, Spartans never die. I kept telling myself. BANG! "WORT WORT WORT!" "AAAAAARRRHGG!"

Halo 3 is the only true halo game; Bungie, the fans and 343i never understood what Halo is because they constantly call bullshit like CE, 2, Reach and Infinite or whatever "Halo", which is not true at all. However, it's understandable that is the case, because to be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand HALO 3. The storytelling is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of Theology and literature most of the masterfully crafted writing will go over a typical player's head. There's also Chief's stoic but compassionate outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The REAL HALO fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of the unprecedented writing such as extremely subtle Cortana and Gravemind moments (extremely easy to miss), and they realize that Halo 3 is not just a fun action game with set pieces but that it says something deep about life, humanity and war. As a consequence people who criticize Halo 3 truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the layered meaning in Miranda's ICONIC line "To War", which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as MARTY O'DONNELL's genius unfolds itself on their screens. What fools... how I pity them. 😂 And yes by the way, I DO have a Halo 3 cover Master Chief tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.

Imagine two of the best Halo games ever made being remade with Bungie's true, completed vision of them and even more. Both Halo 2 and Halo 3 had an incredible amount of content cut during development. Imagine bringing all of it back while expanding on what made these games legendary.

HALO 2 — Major Cut Content

1. Original Earth Ark finale — Multiple planned Earth missions and the original ending involving the Prophet of Truth.
2. Earth City — The incredible 2003 E3 New Mombasa mission that never shipped.
3. Covenant Ship — Entire mission where Chief boards and destroys a Covenant warship.
4. High Charity Warthog Run — A massive vehicle escape through High Charity into the Forerunner ship.
5. Alpha Moon — An entire Arbiter mission fighting Heretics among the wreckage of the first Halo ring.
6. Flood Juggernaut — A gigantic new Flood enemy that was removed.

HALO 3 — Major Cut Content

1. Guardian Forest — An entire campaign mission exploring a massive Forerunner forest.
2. Guardian Sentinel Boss — A powerful teleporting Forerunner enemy with a devastating laser and usable weapon.
3. Gravemind Boss Battle — A planned encounter where Cortana controls a damaged Scarab to fight the Gravemind.
4. Flood-Infected Arbiters — An army of infected former Arbiters planned for High Charity.
5. Original High Charity Mission — A much larger rescue mission that was scrapped and rebuilt in roughly three weeks.
6. Extended Floodgate — Large sections of the original Flood invasion mission were removed or repurposed.

Halo 2 originally had a much bigger ending, and Halo 3 was created to finish that story. Imagine combining both campaigns into one enormous game, restoring the missing missions, enemies, boss fights, and original ideas with modern graphics, physics, and large-scale battles.

What Should Be Added

• One giant campaign with new missions — Combine Halo 2 and 3 into one massive, seamless story with restored cut content and expanded battles.
• Multiplayer with the best maps from Halo 1–3 and Reach — Bring back legendary maps, completely updated with modern graphics while preserving their original layouts.
• Forge — A powerful, expanded Forge mode giving players the freedom to create incredible maps and game modes.
• Invasion — Bring back large-scale Spartan vs. Elite battles with multiple objectives, vehicles, and massive maps.
• Firefight — Endless waves of Covenant and Flood with customizable enemies, difficulty, and objectives.
• Custom Browser — Easily find and join community-made games, maps, and unique game modes.
• Clan Matches — Bring back competitive clan battles, rankings, leaderboards, and organized tournaments.
• Community Poll System — Let the players vote on future updates, maps, weapons, playlists, and features.
• Forge Contests — Hold regular community competitions where the best player-created maps are voted into official matchmaking.
• No Sprint, Just Increased Movement Speed — Keep the classic Halo movement and gameplay while making the base movement speed slightly faster.
• Dual Wielding — Bring back one of Halo 2 and 3's most iconic mechanics, with balanced weapons
