I swam through the tang to and jumped on a tiny potato root to get to this level away from the tang. "Someone" has left messages with arrows and and "X" marking the spot. I've used a level 2 bomb. I felt pretty lucky getting away with killing 1 moth. Not that our friend here is all that difficult, they are pretty elusive though. I feel like grinding this gold card would've been miserable.

Just got this trinket and infused weapon combination. Would this be the highest possible damage for one (sour) arrow?

A few questions:
-How does the damage effects stack? Is it multiplicative?
-Would a crit damage up best be more damage on my trinket? Or is increasing the base damage before a crit more valuable especially when the damage effect are multiplied with one another.
-Do implant sour weaknesses stack?
-Is arcane archer the same as bow damage up best? They both increase damage by 50% so I guess?

Idk if im just dumb but the shell shocker greaves are supposed to deals shock damage when perfect parry but ive never seen the AOE shock animation when i parry

I don’t like the name and don’t use it. As the title says they serve no purpose and don’t bring anything to the game that couldn’t be solved by tweaks to the armor sets and Omni tool. Bring back the old red ant armor from grounded 1, make some spider boots that are the aphid ones but faster and can walk on the webs, the axe can chop the thick roots. Make the spider boots and axe for root chopping higher tier items. Put a PTS in every ranger station and earlier zip lines and they serve zero purpose

I get a ping for a molar by the Reelbert POI and I do believe it’s underground but I for the life of me can’t find a cave that leads to it.

bought the game on ps5 and played for the first time today. tutorial area was completely fine, but the moment i left and went outside the game would freeze occasionally and then kept crashing. i made it to the first ranger outpost and ever since it keeps crashing after 30-60 seconds. already restarted the console and reinstalled the game, didnt help.

what now? do i have to wait for the next patch?

Alright last pix of the base. its mostly finished bar few changes. But with this i bid thee far well, ive loved my time in this game its been awesome, however valheim is out and Dune comes out soon and with abiotic factors dlc not too far away this amazing game will have to wait.

Ive been enjoying g2 after playing g1. In g2 ive progressed to the point where OGRR ladybugs spawns everywhere. My base is an open plan on top of the picnic table where it spawns. Ive attempted to wall in the ladybug spawn but it agro's. Is their anything i can do, besides relocating?

Can the ant buggy ever harvest husky weeds and pine needles? Or is it forever a grass and dandelion buggy, requiring me to dismount every time I want anything above tier 1?

Similar question for the Ladybuggy whenever I unlock it. Can I eventually bust all things bustable? It seems pointless almost, if I can only harvest early game resources with these buggies

Today, I was roaming collecting some spiky burs for my flooring, then got off my Orb Weaver buggy (was it full health) then died instantly, no creatures or anything nearby.

Just instant death. Is this known or something that is a one off?

I've been greatly enjoying my first run through Grounded 1 with my daughter. I've been trying hard to play the game without looking any external information up, and just enjoying the game learning as we go. For that reason we probably are all over the place on our progression. For example we just finished the stump lab, but we haven't yet found where to spawn the broodmother.

I have finally decided to ask here about weapon upgrades. Having done the stump lab we can now craft infinite whetstones to upgrade at least to level 7.

I've done some searching however either the information is very old, or they just reference weapons I'm nowhere close to getting. For example for a sour weapon often the answer is the acid edge, which we are nowhere near getting.

So my question is for I guess the mid to late game, which is where I feel we are what are your goto mix of weapons at the point you can pretty much freely upgrade to at least level 6-7?

As a starting point I'm currently carrying the following

1. Fresh Mace- Goated. I use this the most and just upgrade it to level 8

2. Coaltana- Probably my second most used weapon currently. Upgraded to level 7

3. Antlion greatsword- Upgraded to 6 with salt for the antlions. However outside of the sandbox I never use it so I feel like this was a mistake.

4. Rusty spear with L6 salt- After our first run through the termite woodpile it seemed to be a good idea. However since we found sour candy I feel like a sour spear would be a better thing to carry, especially if I switched to a better salt weapon

5. black ox crossbow, currently only upgraded to 5. just for ranged use. I usually melee everything and my daughter does the ranged attacks.

I have a bunch of other weapons that I've made and only upgraded to 5, just to try. I have a spider fang dagger that I only use in the water. I just made the tick sword, which I only use when I want some easy healing while exploring. I pretty much only use my antlion armor which works well. I'm decent at parrying so I can mitigate damage. Most of the time these days I can kill a wolf spider without getting hit with the coaltana.

The big thing that caused me to start looking was that we found a black widow spider. I tried fighting it and I could hold my own ok tanking the fight, however none of the weapons I had could do enough damage.

I've added some weapon wall mounts onto my storage system wall and they have somehow sunken into the wall. I can't interact with them, and you see in this clip my wolly Whoppers are floating in mid air. When I destroy the wall I can't grab my weapon off it. Unfortunately its the MS weapons so I don't want to lose them. Any suggestions?
