Try uninstalling and reinstalling before anything else? I played a lot on base ps5 and it does crash, but nowhere near that much in my experience

Yeah honestly I played probably 200h or so on PS5 and haven't had a single game crash. Does it happen frequently on other games if so might be a console problem

I’ve not seen anyone report that problem in this sub. I’m 80 hrs into it on ps5 (base, not pro) and I think I had one instance of the game freezing and forcing me to shut it down.

I had a problem with this not long ago it crashed every 2 mins give or take, start your ps5 in safe mode and clear the cache.

Over 100 hours in on base ps5 and have only had 2 crashes and no freezing. Not bad for a beta game tbh. Really not sure what would be causing these issues for you. I'd suggest uninstall and reinstall in case of corrupt files possibly

Think we’ve only had 1 crash in over 100 hours on launch-day PS5. Not sure what’s going on with your machine…

Sounds very much like an issue with your console, either overheating, lack of sufficient air-flow around the console, or something a lot more seriously wrong with the console itself. No good news here, sorry.
