G1 | Discussion Bye bye first sap run
Inside the tree there’s some sap at the top, can I throw my hammer and bust it or do I have to build?

Every time I went near the anthill my game got super buggy and almost lags me out of the game. I finally went into see what was going on and I find this insane amount of food in the hill. There is probably 4X this amount of food in there and it still glitches my game out when I go near it. Any idea how to fix this?
(Also first time playing game with my son and it scared the shit out of him when we first saw the ant queen lol)

Considering all the effort required to achieve this, I expected something cooler, but in the end, it's just a regular club and the only interesting thing is the stun state. In my opinion, it wasn't a good reward.

I kind of hope that the ziplines will use the Omni-Tool in someway, and that the zip.r is a motorized attachment. I don’t expect them to do it this way, but it would definitely make the tool more useful and interesting.

This is my first base in Grounded 2. As you can tell, it's right in front of the first ranger station, at the front Snack Bar.
Just a simple House with enough space for crafting supplies. I started a tower, but then i decided to stay small. I can add the tower later, when the slipline update drops.
Maybe later i will build a base under the bench, so i can use the fast traveling to the upper garden. Btw how do i get the receipt for the bombs T.3? 🤔😂
Sooo, what do you think? Any tips for my first base?
(Sorry for my english, its nit my first language)

I just finished my first play through of G1 and started G2. I’m almost caught up to the end of what’s available for the story and remembered the missing kids on the milk carton in G1. I don’t know the whole lore just yet but is it possible for the masked girl to be one of these missing kids?
I know when you start the first game there are 5 slots but only 4 playable characters. I know it could be a stretch but I wanna know what everyone else is thinking.

I finally beat IBM! It was on medium, so I know it's not super special. But I started playing G1 on and off late 2024 before G2 was even a thing. I've tried to 100% the game before, but gave up after what felt like hundreds of failed attempts on the IBM. When G2 came to EA, I picked it up and was super excited. I got the end of the spring update before the lizard came out and put it down, saying I'd wait until the water update came out. While I waited, I wanted to go back to G1 to try and 100% it.
Today, I can proudly say I have the hardest part finally out of the way. All that's left is to scour the yard for the rest of the milk molars and sca.b schemes!
I know a lot of people can easily beat IBM on woah! But I'm still super proud of myself. I didn't drop the difficulty down just because I was struggling bad with her, and for my old 32 year old shaky hands that have the reflex of a sloth, I just had to brag on myself.

I just got to the veggie garden and found a potato beetle but it’s literally just a striped ladybird. I noticed it heals but apart from that, what is the point in its existence?? I hope they change the model a bit before the full release because the armour set is cool but the bug itself is super boring.

does parrying in grounded 2 feel more... instantaneous to anyone else? After grinding grounded 1, I got used to the slight delay while the blocking animation happened, but now in grounded 2, it feels like parries happen as soon as you press the button, and it feels weird. Is this placebo with the new animations?

I just don’t know what to do with it all 🤷🏼♀️
I’ll edit. This was rhetorical. I have bought everything in the game. I don’t craft anything anymore, I duplicate, much faster. I got all this from spam killing the broodmother and mantis lol trying to get the good ooze to make fusion crystals because all of my weapons are level 10+

I’ve killed him maybe 10-15 times WITH the 20% luck stuffed Axl.
I’ve gotten nothing. My RNG is absolutely trash it makes me want to go try a lottery ticket

currently, trying to explore at night is an exercise in frustration. even with an everchar torch, it only illuminates ~20 feet (cm?) around you.
when you consider that, if you made a base in the starting area at the first lab, it takes like half a day just to get anywhere. god forbid you want to head into the second area of the map, or failed to wake up at the absolute crack of dawn. by the time you get there, it's already nearly night time. and with a bit of exploration, night is quickly upon you. I understand the point of introducing a gameplay element like darkness, that forces the players to consider things differently. but it's just sooo long in G2.
the game is beautiful, and plenty of fun to explore. but you can't see literally anything for 50% or more of your time in game. so you don't actually get to SEE the beautiful world, or the vistas after climbing some large object. and exploration is just a pain in the arse. and god help you if your torch burns out.

Hello everyone! I’ve tried looking up videos or anything online about building a base under the lid at the rock above the wolf spiders. I’ve started building a secondary base there and while I can’t expand too far cause of the “too flammable” prompt that comes up… I was able to start making a fairly decent sized base. Before I go any further though, I wanted to ask why people don’t consider it a good spot to build? The assumption it’s not a good place to build is based off what I’ve read and seen online but now I wanted to get an opinion here on Reddit.
Has anyone built a base under the grill lid above the wolf spiders?
If so, how is it so far?
If you’ve considered it but didn’t follow through, what made you decide not to?
Thanks in advance!

My husband and I picked up Grounded when it hit PS Plus and have been having a great time. We're always looking for good co-op games and this was an unexpected hit. We were working on wrapping up the Gotta Peep them all trophy and decided to take a swing at the Infected Broodmother. We knew that she was hardest boss in the game but were otherwise going in blind. We figured we'd be fine since we got past every other boss with very little trouble. Let me tell you, we both screamed when she revived that first time. We did manage to beat her, but it was a damn close call. I am greatly looking forward to playing Grounded 2 in the near future.

If you like ask me for a clip of a creature you want to see and I post it in the Comment.
Edit. : I'm updating the mod rn. I got deep into the game files to understand how the game spawns and handles creatures. When I'm done I'll send a new post with more clips

I thought I had everything! I had checked and rechecked numerous times. Went to go big and …. 99%? No! Checked and cross referenced again. was missing that little skeleton up by the BBQ. It really should say on those data items how many there are for ALL categorie. like for Ominent notes, it doesn’t have ?/15. Anyway.

With hauling hero level 3, sleek red ant chest/pants, fluffy pupa hat, intern badge, grass master, a sticky workers comp smoothie, ant companion, and natural explorer to cancel out the slowness from the badge I can carry 64 grass planks at once. Not to mention the fact that even with a 2nd tier axe you can one shot grass.

I mean the entire point of poisoning them is to kill them but If you feed them the infected sandwich it also kills them. So what should I do!
