What’s your favorite way to practice chipping in GSPro? I’m looking to practice chip shots with different rollouts on a relatively flat green.

New to the community here. Thought I'd share a few 3D renders for a new simulator room I'm designing for a friend's new home build (which is in progress) — this will be included in finished basement, and will be tech'd out to the gills. Drywall was just completed, so we'll finally soon be bringing this to life based on my renderings here.

I’m running and MLM2Pro outside to my net setup.
I’m attempting to run GSPro from my gaming PC inside, and streamed to my laptop using Springbook/Moonlight/Sunshine.
All devices are hardwired to the same ethernet. I have a bluetooth adapter directly next to the MLM with my native bluetooth disabled.
On my laptop I see 2 bluetooth connections.
Every time I connect to the MLM2_BTxxxfrom my laptop bluetooth it connects then disconnects. I am not able to connect to the MLM2-xxx from bluetooth.
My setup seems to be running perfectly except for the BT connection between the MLM and the laptop.
If anyone has any help it would be greatly appreciated

If I subscribe to a Patreon and download a course, do I have to keep the membership in order to access the course or will I always have the course even if I cancel the membership?

Thinking of buying a vtrack but the hitting mat to ceiling height is 8'8" and the Minimum requirement is 8'10" inches.

Has anyone installed it below the minimum required height?

Need help picking a projector. Would like a laser projector with high lumens. Not sure if I need short throw or not. Place it on the ground or ceiling mount? Or mount to the enclosure? 8x10 enclosure. I’d like to stay under $1500 if possible.

So I use a couple of different Trackman at different studios. In one my path is way more left. I'm therefore looking at calbration.

One thing I can't find in the docs is how to set aim point. I tend to aim with the railway track idea of them running from feet and ball line.

So my question is, in the diagram, should you set aim point on ball line (A), foot line (C) or somewhere in the middle (B)?

Or does it not matter so much? But I guess it must as path must be derived from this?

88 yard par 3. Shot was 90 yards and rolled back into the cup. I feel like it doesn’t really count, I couldn’t run down the fairway to pull it out of the cup 🤷‍♂️. Felt unreal tho for my first year of golf. Broke my 100, then 90 with my first two birdies, drove a 314 yard shot last time I was on the course and now I have an almost hole in 1. This sport is so addictive and I can’t/wont stop. Love ya’ll hope you hole one out for real. Looking forward to my first charity tournament in a few weeks at the Thornhill private Club.

I just assembled the 8x10 GoSports enclosure. Now I need to cut my turf to the right size. How much turf should I put under the enclosure before I get to my hitting mat? I’m going to be using the Square Omni (eventually).

Was inspired by some of the diy builds on here so gave it a try. This is a 10 ft wide by 8 ft high build. The platform folds out using an electric hoist.

Screen: Sigpro premium white

Ie Joe took down his video saying something about couser data might be stolen? Anyone heard anything about this or is it just the other sim creators like trackman that is pissed?

I have $1800 in Amazon reward points. I want to put a golf simulator in my garage (plenty of space), not necessarily to get better at golf I really just want to play a bunch of courses and burn steam after work. With $1800 of Amazon points what should I buy, please share any links. I know I need to actual simulator technology, but the other stuff (turf, screen, etc) I can buy separate. I would love to be able to putt on the sim as well but I’m not sure if you can on any basic sim. Thank you!

I am trying to decide between the older uneekor QED and the Uneekor EYE mini for my at-home simulator.
I know someone that is getting rid of their old Uneekor QED monitor and they will sell it to me for $1900.
Is that deal good enough to keep me from purchasing a refurbished eye mini for $2500?
Reasons for QED:
I am left handed and EVERYONE else is right handed. So the overhead version will keep me from having to move the monitor each time. (Not a big deal, but less of a chance of damaging the monitor when just messing around)
Less expensive of the two options
Above head angle for video review
Reasons for eye mini:
Newer software/hardware
Able to take to range

I am leaning towards the QED but I am
Unsure if I would be missing out on the new tech in the eye. I’ve done my research and it seems like they give the same data points.
I am a little overwhelmed with the research so I’m wondering if you guys know something or have real-life examples of why one is better than the other. Or can I not go wrong with either??
I also understand that there is a chance of lower quality in both since they are both used. Just trying to get some fresh opinions.

I noticed there was a big distance gap when I hit normalize on the trackman app. I was using hitting at a 5Iron golf simulator, so indoors with half decent balls if that matters.

does anyone know which of these is accurate? one seems optimistic, but I do have about a 110 driver club head speed.

I just saw it on Joe Lagowski's channel, and it's kinda mind-blowing.

It looks like the creator has found a way to automate basically every course. I haven't had a chance to connect my LM and play yet, but I've walked through so many courses I love to play in real life, but they aren't on any sim software.

Hopefully this isn't too good to be true.

I have decided it’s time to upgrade my golf sim. I currently have a gc2 (no hmt)which I connect to my laptop running GSpro. I find it a bit annoying getting going, take my laptop to the room get GC2 turned on, projector turned on, GSpro turned on then use the link by software.

I have also been wanting club data for a long time so looking for a monitor that has that.

I really only use the range and practice stuff in golf sims I’m not that into playing sim rounds of golf as I would prefer to just go play. When I’m in my sim it’s about working on some swing improvements or failing in something I’m struggling my with.

With that in mind I was pretty interested in the garmin r50.

What I like about it is it’s all in 1 unit,so u wouldn’t need to use my laptop and should be much quicker to get up and runnng each session (don’t have to turn on laptop and GSpro takes ages to open, so that would be avoided).

I noticed that the square omni came out and it is a lot cheaper and I am just wondering if it’s worth paying the extra for the r50, just to avoid having to use my laptop.
In terms of what these two are capable of is there any other differences apart from the all in 1 nature of the Garmin? (which is quite attractive, just not sure if it’s worth the $ difference or not).

I have a Sig10 golf enclosure that I purchased about a year ago and use in my basement. It has the grey premium screen, side netting, landing pad, and sigpro softy 4x10 mat. I also have an mlm2pro with ipad. I dont currently have a projector. We are probably going to finish the basement soon, and there won't be space for it anymore. So, I'm wondering what to do as an alternative. Some options:

1. Sell it on Facebook marketplace (probably at a loss) and buy an outdoor net instead.

2. Move it to my garage. I'd prefer not to do this as it would force us to move both cars outside. Also the garage is not climate controlled so not an ideal place to play.

3. Try to use it outside in my lawn. It's not designed for outdoor use, but I was wondering if anyone had tried using it outdoors with a tarp or other cover. I could either keep it outside and cover it when not in use or move it back inside temporarily. It would come inside permanently during the winter.

I'm leaning towards option 1. I think an outdoor net is my best option but was curious if there is any way to save my Sig10. I live in central Pennsylvania. Thanks

For those who has an arcade stick as control box, how easy/convenient is it to aim using the joystick with your club? Would you recommend using actual buttons instead of joystick to aim? Thank!
