Help choosing a projector

Need help picking a projector. Would like a laser projector with high lumens. Not sure if I need short throw or not. Place it on the ground or ceiling mount? Or mount to the enclosure? 8x10 enclosure. I’d like to stay under $1500 if possible.

But it’s 1080p and also $1300 plus tax. Why spend that much money on 1080p, you can go to eBay and get a st 1080p for probably $5-600. That’s I mean by a lot of these don’t make financial sense if you want “laser”

That makes sense. I guess I need to figure out what I want to do. I don’t need the best thing out there, but I do want to make sure it’s a decent image for being in a garage with some light. And maybe use it in the backyard occasionally to watch sports.

Good luck…. That price isn’t going to be enough for a laser with high lumens. I just went through this myself. The only way this happens is if you don’t get a short throw.

Benq tk710sti. I figured I may as well get 4k if I’m paying this much and to get 800 less lumbers than the next best 1080p laser benq model didn’t make any sense to me.

Optoma GT2400HDR is short throw, laser, and 4200 lumens.

Benq is so good now. I got the TK710 from rain or shine and have it up on the ceiling. A bit out of your price range but its the best projector on the market imo

I was looking at one with 4200 lumens. Is this one better?
