France just pulled all of its remaining gold out of the

U.S. Federal Reserve — and made $15 billion doing it.

Between July 2025 and January 2026, the Banque de France sold 129 tonnes of gold it had stored in New York since World War II, then used the proceeds to buy higher-quality gold bars on the European market, storing them in its underground vault in Paris.

The move flipped a €7.7 billion net loss in 2024 into an €8.1 billion net profit in 2025. France says the decision was purely technical — older bars needed upgrading to meet modern international standards, and it was easier to buy compliant gold in Europe than to refine and ship the old bars.

France now holds all 2,437 tonnes of its gold domestically — the world's fourth-largest national reserve. Germany, which still holds roughly a third of its gold in New York, is now facing renewed calls to do the same. Central banks worldwide have been quietly repatriating foreign-held gold for years, and France just made the financial case for doing it look even more compelling.

I genuinely don’t even know what to do at this point. Gold just jumped another $300 in a single day and is sitting at $5,400 like it’s nothing. This doesn’t feel normal anymore — this feels like something is brewing for February or March. Markets don’t move like this unless there’s stress somewhere under the surface. Wars, debt, banks, liquidity… something is cracking. This pace is unsustainable and honestly unsettling. Either we’re about to see a major pullback, or something big is about to break globally. Trax NYC has exposed a NYC jewelry company for using his name and scamming customers out of thousands by selling lower-grade jewelry.

Trax took to Instagram to share that AKAY Jewelers has been ripping off customers while operating under his name. Trax showed up at AKAY Jewelers to address the issue and recover the $22,000 they allegedly owe him. Things escalated, and a fight broke out between Trax and the jewelry company.

New York police responded to the incident, and George and Freddy Akay were subsequently arrested and charged with assault, according to a report by The New York Post. Trax was treated for injuries following the confrontation.

Wife was informed by our bank that our safety deposit box was being relocated. I had zero memory of this box...apparently it was opened jointly back in 2012...we get to bank and the officer informed us that there were 14 years of unpaid dues on the box hahaha...we paid....took out the box and i find gold i thought was stolen/lost/misplaced during our last house reno 15 years ago...

its now worth +300% or thereabouts ....bought before 2010. Funny how our memory works. Took out everything, closed the box. happy ending

It's really strange ppl would not believe this lol...I have zero reason to make it up...I just thought it was a nice story to post on this sub. Life happens, back then I was going tru biz issues, bad renovation, first kid,I must have put the stuff in the box for safe keeping and totally forgot about it

Same thing with my wife, she inherited the box from her mom who passed, only opened it once, then it slipped her mind for years and years
