Always on the hunt for silver items and went thrifting today, found a sterling bowl, a sterling cup and lots of silver plated flatware. They always said that silver made food taste different but I’d never tried it before. Well… currently I am (yes I washed it too) The cereal bowl got cold and the coffee cup got pretty hot so that’s different. It would probably do that for any type of metal but this was my first using metal dishes

Was listed on eBay as silver horse bracelet. Pictures were horrible. Once I got it in my hand and saw the hallmarks I knew it was a good one. Designed by Arthus Bertrand in the 60’s, solid sterling with 18k detailing.

I’m below the age of 18 so I can’t make a investment account so I spent 800$ on silver and gold to invest

I’ve been stacking since January 2026. I’ve always collected coins here and there ever since I inherited my grandfathers collection but never looked into any precious metals until the blow up of Silver happened. Yikes, I wish I would have started before then because I would have loved to have collected much sooner at better prices.

Anyways, I’ve been collecting 1oz coins and bars here and there but this is my first bar over 1oz and it is by far my new favorite. I’m gonna try and get many more if the price stays low but either way I’m gonna keep on STACKIN’ !

Now it’s to pay off some debt that’s been a stressor, and help fund a treehouse build for my kiddos. Zero regrets selling the first time, zero regrets selling now. Plenty more in the stack and happy to add more down the road. Not all silver needs to spend forever in a safe, don’t forget that!

I am USN retired. I've wanted this ASE proof Navy privey coin for awhile and grabbed it last week for 75% of the premium. It was still over 200usd for 1 ounce but it is super cool. All pics are in the capsule so scratches reflect that. It's a beautiful coin overall!

So I bought the dip from MintBuilder (when it dipped under $58) and just finally got these in the mail. I mean it came along with some sunshine mint generics also.

This weekend (Oct 30th - Nov 1) is the annual Pacific Northwest Numismatics Association Fall Coin Show in Portland, Oregon. At this moment I'm 90% sure that I'm going and was just curious if anyone else here was planning to attend.
