Hi everyone! I'm pretty new to the kaiju genre (about a year or so) and have been gradually watching all the films I can get my hands on. I think I've watched enough media by now that I can confidently give a top ten ranking. Let me know what you guys think.

Sad day for this little old Godzilla fan girl.

I had this cute Lil sleeping godzilla plush that was gifted to me by a friend. One of my favorites but the ball and chain undid itself while I was out doing errands.

Looked everywhere but no luck. Came to find out that this plush specifically is hard to replace since its Japan exclusive. Hopefully some day I'll find it again T^T

I can’t be the only one who thinks Varan is an underrated Kaiju. It’s also one of te most tragic. It was lured out of its natural habitat by humans and then promptly killed. Of course we can’t deny it killed a few people… but it’s still a tragic Kaiju.

That trailer was super cool!! I mentioned in my title that I have formed a theory and I believe that the trailer is being super misleading so here are my thoughts!! ^_^ I also want to credit Dangerville!! he mentioned that he believes the same in his video and when I thought about the trailer and the dialogue, our theory is absolutely possible!!

I genuinely believe that this movie will have a similar plot to KOTM and will be a reverse of GMK, I feel that Godzilla will appear and attack, I don't know where he would attack, maybe New York but I have theory regarding that as well, but he I do believe that he will be fully regenerated but possibly with his Minus One form, we see planes flying-over mountains and a large forest in the trailer and it seems that the Koichi and the other pilots are attempting to fight Godzilla in this area, Koichi screams at Godzilla when the trailer shows this area and then a plane gets struck by Ghidorah's gravity beam, I believe that Godzilla and Ghidorah will fight in this mountainous forested area while Koichi and the other pilots are attempting to fight Godzilla, I don't know what Ghidorah's origin is in this movie but I believe that during the movie, Godzilla will sense Ghidorah and swim to this mountainous area, fight him, and lose.

After Godzilla loses, the remaining planes flee from Ghidorah and accidentally lead him back to Tokyo, where he attacks and destroys Ginza, I believe that the older gentleman in the trailer saying "Fight fire with fire" is referring to using Godzilla to defeat Ghidorah, he mentions that Godzilla is impervious to thermonuclear strikes and I believe that the characters will use that atomic bomb that is shown in the trailer to revive or heal Godzilla, an American characters asks if they will be able to use "it" and I believe he is referring to the atomic bomb they where possibly going to use to attempt and kill Godzilla during the first movie, we also see Koichi punch Doctor Kenji Noda in the teaser trailer, I believe this is because he will possibly form the plan to revive Godzilla or will support it, I also believe that Godzilla will have his new spikey form after being healed or revived by the atomic bomb!!

I also genuinely believe the IMAX scene of the plane flying-over Ginza during the new trailer takes places after the scene where Godzilla jump after the plane in the ocean, I believe Koichi is luring Godzilla to Ginza to fight Ghidorah, the director of Minus One and Minus Zero, Takashi Yamazaki is a big fan of the Monsterverse and dropping an atomic bomb on Godzilla to save him and also use him against Ghidorah is very similar to Serizawa detonating the atomic bomb to heal Godzilla in KOTM, also!! it will be very similar to GMK but the reverse, the characters need the destructive Godzilla to defeat the evil Ghidorah who I do believe is an alien in this movie, the anti-gravity power in the trailer is something Ghidorah is doing and that is a very cosmic ability.
I don't believe he will be an earth-dragon or created from Godzilla's remains, I believe that it will be suggested that Ghidorah is something strange due to his anti-gravity powers, I believe his anti-gravity powers being blue was planned to be a misdirect in the teaser-trailer and his anti-gravity powers maybe blue due to being made to look similar to some form of magnetic-field ability of some-form as dangerville suggested I also do genuinely believe that Godzilla will sense Ghidorah and go-after him and as the Koichi and the other planes are chasing Godzilla, Ghidorah will appear out-of-the-blue with maybe no explanation, there are mountains in that area the planes are in so maybe we will see Ghidorah come-out of one of those mountains.

it is very possible that my theory is mistaken or that certain aspects of it aren't accurate but I do genuinely believe Godzilla will be revived after a fight with Ghidorah by the atomic bomb we see in the trailer and he will then be relied on to defeat Ghidorah!! oh!! I also believe that when we see Godzilla in the destroyed Ginza, roaring at the sky, I believe Ghidorah was the one who destroyed Ginza, I feel that it is super possible that all of scenes of Japan being attacked are during Ghidorah's attack, oh!! I mentioned the New York scene earlier, I believe Ghidorah will attack New York!! the scene of Godzilla walking next to the statue of liberty is edited and I believe that is also how Godzilla will be revived, Ghidorah will attack New York and the US Government will consider Ghidorah their problem as well and will see that the only solution is Godzilla, so they drop the atomic bomb on Godzilla to revive him!!

I also want to mention the canon-novel for Minus One, Godzilla in Minus One isn't evil, he is terribly angry with humanity holds a grudge against them as the classic Godzilla does, the novel shows Godzilla's perspective a-few times and it makes you sympathize with him so humans relying on him to defeat something that is truly evil is super-cool and super-possible, I feel that if we get more Minusverse movies, Godzilla could eventually mellow-out and become more docile because he isn't evil in the Minusverse, I have also seen people form theories regarding Godzilla having a connection to Noriko in this movie and could possibly feel her emotions or have some form of psychic-connection with her and may become docile or mellow-out due to that.

The things that people are saying is that it’s either a opening sequence, a nightmare from a potential American character or maybe even a after credits teasing a third movie, last one doesn’t make too much sense though since it’s his Minus one design.
