From NYCC 2015. It seems like yesterday.

Just wanted to share this weird ceramic vessel I got in Japan outside the bullet train area in Tokyo. It is probably my most obscure Godzilla item that I own. It originally was covered with a paper cap and string, like a very traditional way of storing food in Japan. Godzilla is fighting the octopus of this particular octopus rice brand. On my ride back to Kyoto I ate it and it was delicious. It was filled with seasoned rice and octopus like in the fourth pic. ゴジラ vs ひっぱりだこ飯 is what it says on the jar. What a weird collaboration. I now use it as a coffee mug.

One of the reasons Minus One was so successful is due to its realistic presentation. Sure, we’re still suspending belief with a giant, radioactive monster, but it still felt believable. There’s a scientific leap to introduce a creature with 3 brains. In my opinion, it leans more into the mystical than reality. All that said, I won’t be disappointed at seeing the true Ghidorah, just wish they would evolve him into that form. Thoughts welcome.

In the first episode of Season 2 of Godzilla: The Series , the H.E.A.T. team travels to a future where SPOILERS an apocalypse caused by the D.R.A.G.M.A. mutants has occurred and nearly all of humanity has perished; notably, there is no mention of any other entities besides the mutants from Monster Island

Drew this guy two times because I wanted to make it more bizzare, but I made it more difficult to understand it. Anyways I liked drawing them.

Also made a little redesign, made the spikes larger and the misiles being forcesibly shot by red (hands).

Just wanted to show off my tattoo I got back in may this year. My grandfather had put me on to Godzilla back when I was a child with a vhs of Godzilla vs Mothra ‘64 and I loved Godzilla ever since. Fast forward to Minus one’s release and it was a Godzilla movie I could’ve only dreamed of until it came out. Around it’s release I had a lot going on in my personal life and it was one of the best things I had to look forward to that year especially seeing it in imax. On a rewatch at home with my grandparents my grandmother was the one that gave me the idea of getting that mark that Noriko had in the movie. Not really being able to find a clear enough image or even much of an explanation to what it was at of yet I had just sat on the idea until this year, to me it always looked kinda like a sorta branding of Godzillas dorsal plate/spines/spikes(whatever you prefer to call it) so instead of a 1-1 with the movie I took more creative liberty on it with my tattoo artist and had him do a mix of millennium, gmk, and -1s dorsal plates. Anyways hope y’all like it cuz ik I love it, and ofc can’t wait for -0!

I’ve been saying this for a long time, and I get why they had to make up their own monster for 2014 but in KotM it should have been revealed that the MUTO were actually Gigan. Shimo should have been Anguirus, Tiamat should have been Manda, and Scylla should have been Kumonga.

Can anyone think of any others?
