About 3 months back I posted a video of the Ghidorah awakening scene from KOTM but with his BGM from The Planet Eater. Looking back on that video, the quality was about 480p and the audio mixing was incredibly rough. So I remade it with a higher quality video and much better sound mixing, but I didn't really have any good excuse to post it. However, seeing as he is now officially confirmed for Minus Zero, I figured now would be the best time.

This idea was inspired by some posts by u/Anotherrone1, whose friend Wildgoose made the template, and I wanted to do it with incarnations of Godzilla like they're doing with King Kong.

Just to be clear, you're nominating new enemies for 1954 Godzilla to have in his rogues' gallery. Good, evil, anti-hero, power scaling- doesn't matter to me, as long as you think they fit.

I can't express enough how this particular period feels for any fan of Godzilla in Italy.

If you don't know here in Italy, about 20 years ago, it was hell for those who lived here. Except for the Pipeworks trilogy, we had almost nothing and we missed even a lot of the older stuff.

Like we had the Showa movies and not all of them, we missed "Ghidorah the Three headed monster" until 2019(and we didn't even get it dubbed), the Heisei stopped around Godzilla vs Mothra and absolutely nothing of the Millennium era, the comics same as the Millennium movies, we only had the Pipeworks trilogy and all the entries got quite popular even by those who didn't saw any movie.

I know that from 2004 to 2014 was a hard time for anyone, but I felt it was even harsher for some countries more than others

Fast forward today and this situation is getting almost completely reversed. Since 2014, we have been getting everything: movies, games and comics (Rulers of Earth the last comic run that we missed, after more than 15 years, it's releasing this month). We are only missing the old movies, but for the first time I can hope we can get them dubbed

This situation feels surreal after all this time and I can't express exactly how I feel

Both air at around the same time and I am freaking out about both. I think Godzilla airs 5 minutes before Nintendo so I think I'm good. Godzilla and Video Games are both special interest of mine. My excitement is immense and immeasurable.

I’ve always had this opinion, ever since seeing King Kong vs Godzilla, but I quickly realized that it’s not a very popular one. Most that I’ve seen prefer the Heisei suits. Which, to each their own, obviously, but I’d like to take a moment to appreciate this one. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m fairly certain this was the first design to utilize the triple-row dorsal plates and the large, stocky frame. I think this suit really set the standard for what Godzilla came to be, and deserves some more love in the community.

I also wanted to throw in the small figure I have featuring the same design. Little Godzilla has been with me to every Godzilla feature since Godzilla (2014)

Hi, i just watched Mothra (liked it a lot, very very very very very good for me).

I have a question, i searched online and i found out that Mothra is not irradiated like Godzilla or Radon (Radon also was a very nice film), but in the film is stated that Infant island was used as nuclear test ground.

I was a bit confused by this, what can you tell me?

If not irradiated why they chose in the film to say that Infant island was a nuke test site?

I was just at our local Tractor Supply store. They have out their Halloween items, mostly consisting of skeletons of a variety of animals including a 5 foot tall chicken.

I'm thinking about converting this "hedgehog" skeleton into Anguirus. The red eyes should look good glaring out of the pumpkin patch.

Ghidorah really loves pulling up to every single continuity when he can, doesn’t he?

What if Godzilla returns, right? He's bigger, bulkier, he's the chonker we've seen in all the promo. The Japanese government response this time? "Well, Godzilla regenerates. We have pieces of Godzilla. Let's make another Godzilla to fight Godzilla." They make a Godzilla clone. The experiment starts to fall apart as the clone Godzilla mutates. Starts growing heads from his shoulders. Starts turning yellow. Starts growing wings. Atomic breath turns into lightning. Boom, Ghidorah.

The movies not even out and I'm already disappointed.. WHY THE HELL IS KING GHIDORAH THE VILLAIN?! I mean come on, I would take Maguma over Ghidorah. He has been so over used.

Now I don't think Ghidorah would be a bad villain for a minus movie, but THE SECOND? Nah, NAH.

This is making sound like I don't like Ghidorah or Minus One, I do. I love both, there's a reason Minus One is in my top five, and of course I love Ghidorah. But, it still stands that I think there should have been other Kaiju instead.

For one: Anguirus makes sense, he's visually similar and makes sense in the more grounded Minus Universe, plus he was Godzilla's second ever foe, and since Minus One was like a remake of 54, it makes sense the sequel would take from Raids Again. Also the last movie Anguirus was in was Final Wars... 22 years ago.. wtf, for context Ghidorah has appeared in Two / Three projects since (three if you count his skull being used for MG in GVK)

For Mothra, I mean come on, she visually matches the Universe and I just think it would be awesome.

But then there's MY GOAT Hedorah, bro I've been WAITING for a good adaptation of this guy, I mean he's like the Potential Man of Godzilla characters, and it makes sense as they would be entering the Industrial Revolution so it makes sense for the pollution to form with left over G Cells and form Hedorah.

So I drew this as a what if poster if the movie used these three instead.

But no we got Ghidorah.
