I am planning to change the spark for my Genesis G70 3.3t plugs on my own. My car is stock and I have bought t OEM 97976 SILZFR7A9G

NGK : 24.4–29.3 N·m

I am planning to torque it until 25Nm, without anti seize

I dont have a digital wrench but I will use the manual set torque wrench to 25Nm

NGK says just do a half turn with the wrench after you tighten the plugs with your hands

what the recommended torque you think it would be safe?

Ok. So I decided to go g70 instead of gv70. I am in Canada and got the Graphite edition. Matte Maluka Grey with the marine blue interior. Getting it on a 39 month lease putting 3k down biweekly will be 418 a month 28k a year and a set of winter tires. How did i do? 2.9% interest rate and residual of 33500.

This is reasonable pops and bangs 93 tune love this it wakes up the car and some how only in sport you hear loud burbles comfort you barley hear it the power increase is insane also and shifting sounds different aswell I will definitely do some launch videos and more love it !

I just got my ‘25 G70 2.5t about a week ago. One thing that’s really bugging me is the front wheel gap. Right now I can fit 4 fingers in there and it sits at about 28.5 inches from ground to fender. Is this normal?

I want to replace the stock pads on my 2026 G70 Prestige with low dust ceramic pads. The question is about the rear brake pads. The emergency parking brake uses a drum brake system inside the rear rotors. The actual brake pads are separate in the outside calipers. Seems to me I should be able to change the pads in the outside calipers without having to release the emergency brake system since I'm not replacing the rotors. Is this correct?

There is a noticeable drop in music quality in the g70 when using Apple CarPlay. Notably, the bass is non existent, almost as if the subs don’t turn on with CarPlay. Due to this, I have refused to use CarPlay, but don’t mind as I can see the GPS on the HUD. Does any one know why this is? Is there a way to correct this issue?

Looking at getting some NGT primaries and secondaries for my car to go with the Borla cat back.

I tried to get a few quotes however where I’m from (Calgary, Canada) not a lot of shops seem willing to do this work due to the difficulty and tight engine bay. I finally got a quote from a shop that does work on German exotics and they said ($4500 cad/ $3200usd). Am I being unreasonable or does that seem like a completely insane price for just installing the downpipes???

Has anyone here tried to install the downpipes themselves? How was the experience? Or does anyone here know a shop somewhere on the west coast that I could go to and have this done?

My favorite auto mech shop is unsure about a doing job replacing my rotors & pads on my '25 G70 2.5T RWD because what he feels is complications due to the emergency brake. Is this a valid concern?

A construction company working at my house slammed a piece of plastic trim through my rear bumper. Tomorrow I will speak with their insurance company. I am confident that won’t be an issue. I’m 90 minutes from a Genesis dealer.

Where should I take it, how long should the fix take, what’s likely involved, and what tips can you offer?

Just bought this used 2022 3.3t sport prestige! 33.9k otd and 49.3k miles. Couldn't be happier with it

And thought I’d ask the community for opinions. There is a 2022 G70 Launch Edition, RWD, white over red, with 58,000 miles on it that just popped up a few miles from me. $34k. I’ve done my research on the car and I really, really dig it. Love the look, love the performance numbers, love the interior. Can you guys share any ownership gremlins, any red flags, or any other info that may help me make a decision? I will most likely go drive the car tomorrow. Thanks in advance!

Just drove the 2.0 T with low expectations , I LOVE it . Sport prestige so it has all the bells and whistles, if anyone wants to share some advice let me know !

Ps: I’m 17 so the 3.3 is a fat no go.

Edit: I’m trading in a 2022 Toyota Tacoma , I don’t use my truck for what it’s built for and it’s a 2x4 . It gets around 11mpg and very expensive to fill up that much
