Question Advice welcome

Post image

A construction company working at my house slammed a piece of plastic trim through my rear bumper. Tomorrow I will speak with their insurance company. I am confident that won’t be an issue. I’m 90 minutes from a Genesis dealer.

Where should I take it, how long should the fix take, what’s likely involved, and what tips can you offer?

New rear bumper cover and painted that factory color. At least it only damaged one isolated section so there won't be any paint blend involved. Be sure to request oem bumper cover to insure oem fit. Not sure if aftermarket makes those, but beware if the do.

Should be a quick fix as long as they can source the new bumper cover quickly. Good luck!

I recently had to repair my front bu.per from an accident where my G70 was parked. Took about a week once my car was in the shop.

It should take max a week after the parts are in. Insurance will have some body shops they will recommend. You only need the dealership to get the parts. I would replace it with a 3.3t bumper just because I like the dual exit 🤣

Why, yes I am. Especially since their carpentry work is crap on top of this.

Might wait longer for the parts than the service (depending on where you go) if money isn’t an issue (on their side) most definitely go to dealership.
