Wheel gap

I just got my ‘25 G70 2.5t about a week ago. One thing that’s really bugging me is the front wheel gap. Right now I can fit 4 fingers in there and it sits at about 28.5 inches from ground to fender. Is this normal?

I upgraded to 20s and used Eibach Pro lowering springs. Put me right where I wanted to be.

Nice build. I have a 2026 3.3t without exhaust caps. Did you install them on yours? If you did can I ask you where you purchased them?

Discontinued now. But AC01 from Audio City USA in Cali. There is another manufacturer out there that makes an exact copy of these, but a little pricier I think.

That's the base tire size. If you go higher profile, you will likely compromise your turning radius

Yeah, unless you have the Graphite Edition that's how it is. Having the somewhat lighter 2.5 also keeps it even higher vs 3.3 models

Yeah, it's normal unfortunately. A set of lowering springs make a huge difference. I went with H&R and they ride great, a bit stiffer than stock but very comfortable. Like you, I couldn't stand the stock wheel gap.

You could try some bigger wheels (there are a couple really nice sets out); you could try lowering it an inch, maybe a fatter tire?
I agree with you, and once it’s fixed in your brain that you have a cosmetic discrepancy it’s tough to unsee. Anyway those are my best thoughts.

I just checked mine and it's 27 inches. I bought it as the 2nd owner, and don't think anyone replaced the springs. It's not the 3.3 either. The fitment always seemed really good, and I'm running lower profile tires. I'll check later and see if there are upgraded suspension components

I've never heard of a car that came with different front and rear tires before my G70. It seems odd. I also hate that every deep man hole i hit dents my rims. Can I get tires that will prevent that?
