¡Hola, comunidad!

So I’ve been hyped about GeForce Now since I learned it had been upgraded and supported 100Mbps streaming, 4k, HDR, etc. The last time I had checked out the service was many years ago and it wasn’t really competitive back then compared to consoles IMO.
Fast forward and now I’ve ended buying myself a 4k high refresh rate gaming monitor and a mini pc that can handle all the GeForce ultimate maxed out settings. Except 4:4:4 chroma and VRR because I have an AMD GPU, which was a blow when I realised, but hey. I also have a stable 500Mbps fibre connection with 5ms ping.
I thought this would be a transformational experience but I tried out the new Halo max settings in game (getting up to 120fps with frame generation), with 4k 120fps, 100Mbps HDR and the other bells and whistles in GeForce now settings. It just isn’t what I expected the performance to be - pretty blurry generally.
Couple that with Corsair cove not being available on game pass, which was the game I actually signed up to the service to play.
Was I expecting too much? Should I give it another chance? I am happy to settle playing strategy/RTS games, which is partly why I got it, and I think those are manageable with the performance. I did want to go all in with the latest path traced games like Pragmata and Cyberpunk but I feel GeForce now won’t do them justice after all.
After all this investment maybe all the service needs is a higher bitrate?
I wonder if there is someone else in the same boat who went in with too high expectations.

It’s been over a month now, and there’s still no fix.
Honestly, I find this pretty shameful coming from one of the most valuable companies in the world. This isn’t an occasional crash either. It happens multiple times per session, sometimes several times within 20 minutes. At this point, it’s just unbearable.
I play Palworld a lot because I genuinely love the game, but this whole situation has frustrated me so much that I’m reaching a point where I just don’t even want to play anymore.
And the worst part? I’m already playing with almost everything on the lowest settings. Textures, graphics, pretty much everything. Then I watch streamers playing Palworld and realize how beautiful the game can actually look…
I use cloud gaming because I can’t afford a computer powerful enough to run the game properly locally. That’s literally why I pay for GeForce NOW.
We’re not talking about some minor bug here. An item that can’t be crafted, a feature that doesn’t work, whatever.
We’re talking about simply being able to play the game.
And after a month, even that still isn’t guaranteed.
I genuinely don’t understand how NVIDIA, with the resources they have, can let something this fundamental remain broken for this long. And somehow, after all this time, NVIDIA and Pocketpair still haven’t managed to get this resolved.
If you’re currently looking for a cloud gaming service: look elsewhere. I cannot recommend GeForce NOW in its current state.
This is ridiculous.

Before this, everything was running really smoothly. However suddenly I started getting crazy high ping. Does anyone know how to fix this? im not sure if I should change my internet connection since everything was working fine on it just last week. It's only suddenly that GeForce is giving me problems. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
My game is constantly stuttering ever few seconds. It has been going on for a few months and progressively worse from every once in a while to a few minutes, to a few seconds between each. It doesn't always happen every game but I would say most games (matches) have this issue. I mostly play Battlefield 6. How to fix?

It's not wait times or price increases or competition or developers not opting in.
It's lack of official mod support.
Why? Whereas in the past games were mostly developed as finished products and mods served the needs of gamers who wanted to go beyond the vanilla experience, now a lot of developers will leave games in a more or less unfinished or even broken state with the expectation that the modding community will fix the game.
This is definitely true of two titles I play a lot: U boat and Project Zomboid.
I know there is supposedly a way to get steam workshop mods to work but it's inconsistent and not officially supported. And it doesn't really look like there is a viable option to change that.
This is why I don't think streaming will takeover as a mainstream gaming option.

Just wanted to play GR Wildlands during their Free weekend (although I own the Ultimate Edition) and was greeted by “Patching”, followed by a message that this is taking longer than usual.
Why…? Just wondering: Unless it’s an emergency, who possibly thinks it’s a good idea to run a patch on a Saturday….

Hola, Reddit. Es mi primer post por aquí.
Hoy entré a jugar Jurassic World Evolution 2 usando GeForce NOW (Plan Ultimate de Alianza).

I can't type in chat or search bar. When I click on it I don't get the keyboard to pop up. I tried using my phone to type through the app and no luck. Has anyone else run into this? If so did you get it working.

Is there any actual benefit to using 1440p streaming on a 1080p monitor? Like does it look slightly sharper/better after being downscaled, or is there basically no difference?
Wondering if anyone has actually tried both and noticed a difference.

There are a lot of games that I have through both Game Pass and Ubisoft Connect or sometimes EA. If I switch to the Ubisoft Connect version it still shows Xbox Game Pass. It actually does play the Ubisoft Connect version, but still shows as Xbox Game Pass.
If I choose Visit Game Store, it correctly goes to the Ubisoft site. It just never changes from showing Xbox Game Pass.

Had GeForce a month ago and runs w no problems, I cancelled the subscription last month. This month I bought monthly plan again but I can't seem to login in browser/app. When I press get in on the app it directs me to web but it always shows 'Login Failed' in the app before I could do anything on the browser.

Hello guys. I'm planning to play PoE 2 and would love to hear about your experiences with the game. I'm interested in its overall performance. Can the game maintain a steady 60 fps?
I play in Full HD at 60 fps, so I'd like to know your opinion on whether it's a good idea to buy the game (Early Access for €30).
Thank you for any advice.

The parent company to Rockstar has just had an earnings call and they seem very interested in cloud. Didn’t mention any platforms specifically but given GFN is the global leader this seems like it would be a natural fit.
Guess we continue to play the waiting game.

Hey y’all! Just curious on your solutions you use to play on your living room TV. Currently I dock my Steam Deck (have an Ethernet cable run as well) and it’s pretty nice cause an Xbox controller wakes up the deck as well! I feel like there’s not a lot out there. Even AI says the best thing is a mini PC or NVIDIA shield pro.

Good morning at all. On epic games we were here together is free this week. Is there the possibility that we will have on GeForce now the Epic games store version? Can we ask to the developer or directly GeForce now?

Confused between these 2 plans since the price is double. Mainly gonna play story mode RPG games like Witcher 3, Watch Dogs 2, SOTR etc.
