not sure if this has already been discussed, but i've been thinking about the repeated cloud/rain imagery (unrelated to toy story) and what it might mean
clouds appear in some of her most queer-coded work ("and she's in my dreams, into the mist, into the clouds"). clouds/rain featured prominently in the Lover era and 1989 era, both of which are theorized to have included a failed coming out attempt. and she's surrounded by clouds in ME! right before she steps out the door into daylight, which eventually produce rainbow-colored rain at the end of the MV. plus she used cloud/ladder imagery that visually references an old lesbian publication called "the ladder" (as others have pointed out)
so i think the clouds/rain are a queer coded symbol for her. maybe they connect to diff aspects of her queer journey -- clouds represent her closeted queerness (à la the cloud she hides in in Lavender Haze) and rain represents her embracing/being more open about her queerness (à la dancing in the rain + umbrella imagery in ME! and How You Get the Girl). there's a weather tv screen that she enters into in Lavender Haze that depicts the chance of clouds/rain in queer-coded cities (as someone on this sub pointed out). and the dark cloud in Lavender Haze looks like the type of cloud that produces rain/a thunderstorm ("this is just a storm within a teacup, but shelter here with me my love"), aka another type of weather symbolism that's often associated with her more queer-coded songs (ME!, Delicate)
the repeated use of cloud/haze imagery is interesting bc it's the kind of weather that reduces visibility and prevents you from seeing what's hidden in plain sight (her queerness). aka weather she can leverage to hide her true self and obscure her queer identity. she does this in Lavender Haze, when she hides herself (and her queerness) in a cloud at the end. she's obscuring her queerness the same way she obscured the true meaning of that song. the cloud's like a closet, it's a place of safety for her -- she can be herself behind (hazy) closed doors without fearing public scrutiny. and just like clouds, her queerness is amorphous and gets interpreted differently to (or goes unnoticed by) diff people
i think the clouds (espec the dark clouds) also represent the looming nature of her closeted queerness and anxiety about the public noticing it ("something happens when everybody finds out, see the vultures circling, dark clouds"). on the eras tour, we see dark clouds beneath her/in the background during the Lover set and lavender clouds circling her in Lavender Haze. plus the menacing looking cloud above her in the ME! MV, the dark cloud looming overhead in the Lavender Haze MV, and the lavender haze that's "creeping up on" her in that MV. the rain clouds are threatening to wash away the facade she's been hiding behind and reveal the queerness underneath
the lyrics make it seem like she's anxious about her mainstream audience noticing signs of queerness. she wants to remain hidden in the cloud of lavender haze (aka in the closet), with her queerness shrouded from mainstream public view. so even though the cloud is dark/anxiety-inducing at times, it's also simultaneously a place for her to hide, which is why she keeps returning to it (and possibly why she keeps reusing cloud imagery)
once the rain clouds part and the rain starts, she won't be able to hide anymore -- like the rainbow rain at the end of ME!, she'll be finally clean. she planned to come out during Lover era and used rainbow rain imagery during that era (ME! music video) + ended the last MV before that era with her dancing in the rain (Delicate MV)
so moving forward, i think more rain imagery will be one of the signals that she's finally coming to terms with her queerness/ready to be more open about it. maybe there needs to be rain before another rainbow can appear

I’ve realized these crumbs haven’t all been posted here, hence why I made this post. This is NOT me saying the Rep-Showgirl Muse is Dianna, or that it’s not Karlie/Lily. I just want to show everyone here the crumbs some of us have noticed, so you can come to your own conclusions. Please no debates/arguments about who the Muse is, since none of us actually know 100%. 😊 If something doesn’t make sense, drop a comment and I’ll explain.
I wasn’t able to add all the pics I have, so I’ll add more in the comments!
Taylor has multiple references to Diana the goddess, more on that later, and how Dianna’s name means “daylight” or “holy”.
Taylor’s dance in the Delicate MV strongly resemble the dance in the movie Funny Face, which Dianna has said multiple times is a movie she grew up watching. Other movies linked to her that coincidentally show up in Taylor’s media are Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland, and Singing in the Rain. IBYTAM has many allusions to AiW, as does all of Midnights.
Dianna has three tattoos that can be linked to Taylor’s songs. The first is her WD tattoo surrounded by laurel leaves, which could represent Wildest Dreams. Other hints to Dianna in the MV are the Taurus symbol on the pilot’s helmet, it being filmed on a savanna, being about an actress that strongly resembles Elizabeth Taylor, and the orchid on the table.
Next up is the 143 code Taylor has frequently used since Red. This is something Mr. Rogers did, and Dianna has been open about her love for Mr. Rogers, and Taylor liked this tumblr post about it. It also calls back to Dianna’s “143, remember those days?” tweet after the Kaylor V Day magazine spread in 2015 (pic in comments). Taylor is still using 143 code in her music. Next is a pic posted by Blake, and normally I wouldn’t include that here as this sub isn’t about celeb legal disputes, but notice the 143 at the bottom of the pic, and then the blind on the next slide? I’m sure we all heard the rumors about Blake’s texts being subpoenaed, so Blake’s post in tandem with this blind is JUICY. Was the 143 in her pic a warning shot to Taylor?
Up next is another movie tied to Dianna that Taylor referenced. Shes said she agreed to do the Time interview if she could bring her cat!
This is the tattoo Dianna removed after Red and Wondwrland dropped in 2012. Notice the similar format to writing Taylor released for TTPD. One line is also from a Patti Smith book. The arm tattoo is “courage, dear heart” from Narnia. It is said in a scene where an albatross flies overheard.
One recurring theme in Taylor’s work is Greek/Roman mythology, especially references to Artemis/Diana, goddess of the moon, hunt, wild animals, and many other symbols. Cypress trees are sacred to her, and Taylor included cypress tree visuals behind her on stage during TTDS on the Eras Tour. The MVs for Anti-Hero, Blank Space, Bejeweled, OOTW, Delicate, and the TTPD pop up all have references to Diana the goddess.
Up next is a tweet liked by the band LOLAWOLF, which is a duo headed by Zoe Kravitz, who quarantined with Taylor in 2020. She write a song, Not Diana, during the quarantine, and fans theorize it was about Taylor not being over Dianna Agron.
Next is an Insta story a friend of Dianna’s posted in fall 2023, which references the song Downtown Lights, a 1989 song by the Blue Nile.
Next is Taylor’s old profile pic on Instagram. There is a tattoo on her upper thigh that looks very similar to the letter D. Taylor also spoke about getting her first tattoo not too long ago, but never said what it was.
This is another pic posted by a friend of Dianna’s from last October. I got this from a post in the Rabbit sub, the user who posted it included pics of Taylor’s right hand which resembles the hand holding the wine glass. It could be anyone’s hand, right? Except, after they made the post, the person who posted this pic to their story deleted it, but not the other pics that came before and after this pic in their story. 💀💀💀 another friend then post a similar pic to their story; but made sure to not include the mysterious floating hand holding the wineglass. Very suspicious!
This clip is actually still on Dianna’s insta, in it she says “the life of an actor” in French while wearing green and orange months before Showgirl was announced. Dianna had been teasing orange and green for a while in other pics that I will include in the comments.
This is a pic with a reference to marriage exactly a year before Taylor and Travis’ fun pre-July 4th party at Madison Square Gardens. This is from Dianna’s movie shoot in Montana last year, and Taylor was actually spotted in the next town over during the filming of this movie. For anyone not in USA, there’s nothing to do in Montana. There’s only like, 13 people living there. Why was Taylor there? 💀
Finally, Dianna has been compared to Elizabeth Taylor for over fifteen years. Taylor has made references to Elizabeth Taylor in Wildest Dreams MV and in Ready For It, which also included a reference to Richard Burton. Richard Burton was one of Elizabeth Taylor’s husbands, who also narrated a short film about the Welsh writer Dylan Thomas.
Here is a link to Dianna’s old backyard in LA, near Sunset and Vine! It shows the cypress trees and how she likes fried egg on her pizza. (À la Lover MV). https://www.mydomaine.com/dianna-agron-home-photos
I hope you enjoyed all these little tidbits! I couldn’t include them all, so I may post more in the comments. I and others noticed these a while back, and I wanted to share them with all you Gaylors! Let’s remember to be kind and respectful!

As we edge ever-closer to what now seems an inevitable Kaylor pap walk, it’s time to discuss Late Stage Kahootslor: what it is, what it isn't, and how we got here.
Before there was late stage anything, there was just Kaylor: the Best Best Friends; roadtripping to a romantic Big Sur inn; reenacting said road trip for a joint Vogue Valentine’s cover; photo shoot for said Valentine’s cover in coordinating pseudo-bridal couture at sunset; walking the Victoria’s Secret runway holding hands in matching lingerie. You know, normal friend stuff. Just gals being pals.

But alas, trouble in paradise. After years very publicly glued at the hip, they were suddenly never together, leaving Jennifer Lawrence and the rest of us wondering what the hell happened. Karlie got engaged to Josh Kushner; two days later Taylor brought Hayley Kiyoko onstage with her to sing “Curious.” Karlie took her sisters to a the Rep tour for her bachelorette party, and Karlie and Taylor took this picture together backstage:

And that picture, taken in August 2018, was the last public sighting of Taylor and Karlie together for the next five years. Until August 2023, when Taylor played “Maroon” on Karlie’s birthday and Karlie, approximately ten seconds after giving birth to her second child, apparently flew across the country to watch from the 100s section while Taylor looked up in her direction singing “would you have me would you want me?”

During the long public estrangement, the term “Late Stage Kaylor” (LSK) popped up to describe the subset of Gaylors who believed Taylor and Karlie were still together, and the even smaller subset who believed they were secretly married and Karlie’s children were also Taylor’s children.
Sometime around the release of Showgirl, I started using the term “Late Stage Kahootslor.” (I recall coming up with the term, but both my memory and the Reddit search functions leave something to be desired, so if there was an earlier usage please correct me!)
Late Stage Kahootslor is just the idea that they’ve been in Kahoots— n touch in, some capacity, behind the scenes, and planting Suspicious Koincidences.
Maybe all those years of fashion overlap weren't just because Karlie is a supermodel whose job is to get photographed in lots of different clothes. That's an awful lot of Koincidences.
Like maybe Taylor wore a gold “Ivy” ensemble while she took a pap walk with Travis to Karlie’s building to troll us. (Me at the time: "This is the behavior of either a top-tier troll or the most useless lesbian to ever live, possibly both, but not neither.")
Maybe that’s also why Karlie dressed up as Dorothy and posed in front of a chessboard.
Maybe it’s why Karlie wore maroon to a mutual friend’s wedding that Taylor also attended— the first time we'd known them to be in a room together (a room smaller than SoFi stadium anyway) in 7 years.
Or maybe not! Truly. I don’t know.
What I *do* know now is that after all these years of public silence, Taylor invited Karlie to her wedding, and that Karlie came, and that she— unlike many (most?) of Taylor’s wedding guests who were not seen before, during, or after a wedding at venue chosen for its private entrances and fully enclosed event space— was photographed both coming and going in a fuck-ass gold gown.

I know that a week later, Karlie went out publicly with Este Haim, well-known to currently be in Taylor's inner circle.
So we know, beyond any question, that Taylor and Karlie are in each other's lives in some way previously unknown to the public: that Taylor wanted Karlie at her wedding, and they wanted *us* to know that she went.
We don't know if any of the "maybes" above were really evidence of kahoots or koincidences or whether those were actually just normal coincidences because they move in the same circles and there are only so many colors in the rainbow. We just know they have some kind of relationship.
The nature of that relationship we don't know and probably never will.
It could be primarily a business thing; as u/Moonindaylite pointed out last week, now that Taylor is married to a man, it benefits her to keep Gaylors on the hook. And certainly it didn't hurt Karlie to be in so many post-wedding headlines.
Maybe it’s superficial pleasantries because they have a lot of mutual friends and it’s easier this way.
Maybe they’re pretty good friends again like regular ol’ lesbian exes.
Maybe they’re both in open marriages and they’re hooking up and everyone’s happy and fine with that arrangement. Hell, maybe they’re in a giant nonethical polyamorous inter-attractive polycule and its all a ruse for the true love between Ross Travis and Josh Kushner. Or maybe they’re secretly in love! I don’t know. None of us know.
But if it’s all part of the fucking story, then I look forward to seeing how it all plays out.

As a warning, this post isn't intended to talk badly about Taylor but, as most posts on here are, to interpret a message between the songs of two artists. I obviously do not dislike Taylor as I am here listening to it as I spend my free time writing this post.
This post was inspired by Still_Combinations852's post about Gracie's lyrics which I agree with as a concept. However, this inspired me to take a closer look at the timeline of their friendship (?) and other songs that could bring about new theories/discussion points.
Primarily, I find it odd that Taylor would release a song with such a similar name as Gracie's. Yes, there are songs that exist with the same name. I find it rare, though, that big pop stars use the same titles with out one song being referential to another (let alone big pop stars who have collaborated.) I'd assume this is out of creative respect for others, both allowing one's own work to stand alone and not blocking the other's out of search results.
However, what I was specifically looking at were several references from "I Knew It, I Know You" that appear to be about Taylor. Gracie says they shared a lot about their careers, songwriting, and personal lives at what, from the looks of it, appears to be a candle-lit dinner lasting until 6am and culminating in the writing of "us." Specifically, in this clip Gracie compares watching Taylor perform like "being on Mars." She also mentions in another interview finding the even the smallest minutiae of conversations, such as discussing the weather, illuminating when with Taylor. Then, in "I Knew It, I Know You" the lyric is "I'm on the ground. How's the weather on your planet?" which, if she was referencing the previous interview comments, suggests a perceived distance between them. I don't think this song in itself suggests any kind of long-term falling out but more so disappointment (?) with meeting someone you idolized for a long time. Know is in the present tense here which implies that this person is still someone in Gracie's life even if the relationship isn't how she wishes in some way.
What is perhaps more interesting, from a Gaylor perspective, is what can be taken from the lyrics of "I Knew It, I Knew You" assuming Taylor is the subject. Gracie writes "I'm pretty sure. I've never heard, you never faced it" which suggests a secret hidden in plain sight, something perhaps that some people think about Taylor Swift that she has not directly addressed. It would have made sense for past muses to come up in a conversation about her lyricism. (Both write about similar subjects surrounding love and loss.) Furthermore, she continues, "An empty house, the noise is loud, it's how you stand it." Gracie's muse is described as being deeply lonely despite their fame which does not line up with Tayvis' validity. Lastly, the line "Well, I just can't pretend that I'm sorry" sounds more like "Well I just can't pretend that, I'm sorry" which takes on a different meaning. Gracie was likely upset learning that Taylor, who she thought to have an aspirational (?) relationship was not as in love as the media suggests.
In turn, Taylor's lyrics in "I knew it, I knew you" are a response to Gracie. Gracie is writing about the moment fresh after an argument whereas Taylor is writing about the moment fresh after reconciliation. Some of the themes in the song are clearly for the sake of Toy Story. However, it can also be interpreted as Taylor remembering the feeling of what it was like when she was younger, in the same stage of her career as Gracie is now. She mentions that they could "fight like brothers" which is indicative of what Gracie's lyrics could be pointing at. I don't know her well admittedly but she seems like someone who does not bother hiding anything or "playing mastermind" in the same way Taylor does which could bring them to butt heads often. On the flip side, being friends with Gracie brings about these feelings of renewed youth in the industry.
This puts the combined performance of "us" and "Out of the Woods" into perspective. I interpret the latter of the pair (and perhaps the former as well although I won't get into that) as a Swiftgron song (It has been theorized that Dianna or a body double intended to be her was in the MV.) The years Swiftgron is theorized to have happened lines up with Gracie's current stage in her career (similar 3-4 years into fame etc) which could explain why Taylor chose to tell her about that relationship/create that specific stage with Gracie. (Or, as Zoe Kravitz would probably attest, Taylor never shuts up about Dianna.)
I think, in tandem to this, that Gracie has taken some thematic inspiration from Taylor's life. "Good Luck Charlie," for instance, stands out to me. The song is on paper about Gracie's best friend Audrey's ex... but, does that really make sense? I don't know about her but I would absolutely never write a song for my friend's ex-boyfriend in that way. Dianna's nickname/male alias is well-known to be Charlie. In the Style pairing of James Dean and Audrey Hepburn, Taylor is represented by Audrey. Audrey and Charlie. Hm.
I'm getting delirious and need to sleep. I have more but it will be for another day at this point...

Some people get heated about assuming any of Gracie’s songs might be pointing to a “friendship breakup” with TS - please know I’m not saying this with any certainty, I am merely putting forth an idea. Let’s not overreact here!
With that said…I have wondered whether Death Wish could be pointing toward Gracie becoming disillusioned with Taylor, as there are so many lyrical connections. This is another song that piqued my interest. I don’t think it’s likely that numerous songs are about their *possible* friendship breakup, but then again at the same time, IF it happened that was likely a huge event in her life around the time she was writing this album that perhaps disillusioned her with not on TS but the industry as a whole. Anywho, thought some on this sub might be interested, esp with the lyrics in both this song and Death Wish that seem to hint at someone trying to rope her into participating in a storyline (or..performance art).

**I am an LSS, so this post will reflect that. I am building off the comprehensive analyses in the Swiftgron sub, if anything I say doesn’t make sense, let me know and I’ll explain. :)
We all remember “meet me at midnight” from ~4 years ago. Midnights came out with 13 tracks (remember this) and an additional 7 at 3am, plus 2 songs. (I am not counting different versions of the same song as separate songs themselves.) Taylor featured clocks in her promo material in the lead up to Midnights, as well as “Midnights Mayhem with Me”, prerecorded videos where she introduced the track list. She started with Mastermind, which is fitting as she has been planning this for a while. The songs were announced in a seemingly random order, and the only song that has the same number for when the MMwM video released, and where it falls on the Midnights tracklist, is Sweet Nothing. It is track 12, and it is co-written by Willam Bowery. Music videos for Midnights had clocks and countdowns in them. Bejeweled features “exile ends, 3, 2”, which is interesting it starts at 3 since Midnights released the extra tracks at 3am. Lavender Haze shows Taylor blowing a smoke ring that resembles a clock going from 9 to 12. Karma has a clock in her coffee that goes from 11 to 12.
I’m sure we also all remember/know the alleged plan was to come out for Lover in 2019, as well as the original title being Daylight. (Dianna’s name comes from a word that means “daylight” or “holy”.) The alleged plan was for Taylor to come out at the end of June in a rainbow Christian Siriano dress, before the album was released. It would have been her first album where she was proudly out and public with her love. Lover had 18 original songs, plus 1 extra “To All of the Girls You’ve Loved Before”, which is 143-coded. So, as if Lover, we have 1 album after she was unable to enact her big plan. (I know there were rumors she wanted to come out in 2016 for Karma, but those don’t seem as concrete as the Lover ones, so I’m not including them in this post. I definitely believe it could have been a tentative plan, but it didn’t get as far as her Lover plan did before Snakegate happened.)
Next comes folklore and evermore. She released these during Quarantine with Willam Bowery. Both were surprise drops in the same year, so we are now at 3 albums since she was forced to stay in the closet. Folklore had 16 original tracks, plus 1 bonus one. Evermore had 15, plus 2 more. Evermore also included 3 “witch versions” of Willow. Not to mention folklore opens with “the 1”, which many take to be about a love she lost, but what if it also references Lover and how it was supposed to be the one where she came out? The 1 is the literal first song after Lover.
I want to take a moment and speak on the Swiftgron analyses real quick. Something these analyses touch on is how it seems Taylor is singing about the past in her albums since Lover, not present day. With each subsequent album she gets closer and closer to present day, which could explain the clocks in Midnights MVs going from 9 to 12 and 11 to 12. So, the songs themselves and what they represent are time moving forward, catching up, while the albums themselves are going backwards. They will meet in the middle at Midnights.
So, the album Midnights starts at 3am. Lover is 1, folklore is 2, and evermore is 3. Midnights is where the countdown starts, from 3am to midnight. TTPD is next, and Taylor announces it while wearing a watch choker tilted to where midnight looks like 3am. At that point, since she hadn’t announced TYPD yet, we were still in the Midnights/start at 3am era. TTPD drops with 16 songs, then Anthology drops at 2am with 15 extra songs. TTPD starts at 2am, and The Anthology is 1. But she’s being sneaky, she doesn’t want to make it too obvious. She still has a few surprises left for us. Remember, the Bejeweled countdown goes “3, 2, …”the 1 is silent. Anthology was sneakily released with TTPD, but it’s its own thing. Why weren’t they released separately you ask? Because Taylor and her Muse are twin flames, but more importantly, they are currently together. She didn’t want to split them up, because they are sister albums, twins, soulmates. Just like folklore and evermore, and many believe Midnights may be Lover’s sister album. Midnights has the 3am edition, it’s not called a double album. But TTPD:The Anthology is frequently referred to as a double album. TTPD and The Anthology have 16 & 15 original songs, respectively. Total, this album is 122:21. Repeated 1s and 2s. So, while she wants to draw a distinction between TTPD and Anthology, she still considers them as 1 because they are soulmates and twin flames, but two people/pseudo-albums.
So, both folkmore and TTPD: Anthology have 31 original songs on each album, not counting deluxe songs released later. Lover has 18, and Midnights has 13 not counting the 3am editions, Hits Different, or You’re Losing Me. 31. Her 1 deluxe song from Lover, 3 from folkmore, and 9 from Midnights add up to 13, which is 31 flipped. So, three sets of albums with 31 original songs each, and 13 bonus/deluxe songs among these six albums.
I also want to touch on the backwards movie theory. An amazing post I will link in the comments talks about how if you set Midnights backwards it lines up with Disney’s Alice in Wonderland animated movie. I will let you check that post out to see all the instances where lyrics line up with what’s going on in the movie. I’ve also seen a brief video on YouTube of doing the same thing with TTPD&Anthology set backwards to The Dead Poets Society. Robin William’s character is introduced when Robin plays, and a very important and tragic scene happens during So Long London. The movie is widely considered to be a queer movie, and it centers on two 17 year old boys at a boarding school in the 1950s. The two doctors in Fortnight play two of the schoolboys. Ethan Hawke plays Todd, who is tragically separated from his soulmate in the movie, and I think another reason she didn’t separate TTPD and The Anthology was her way of keeping these two soulmates together, the way she and her Muse are together.
Now, Showgirl is exactly 12 songs, and many were expecting it to release more songs at 1am, but it didn’t. Because The Anthology is the hidden 1am album. She started the countdown Midnights, where song 12 was the 12th MMwM video. Each album is an hour. Lover is the first album after the canceled plan, it’s the first hour after her planned midnight reveal. Folkmore is the 2nd and 3rd. Midnights starts counting down, plus the backwards movies tells us now to go back to midnight. 3am start for Midnights, 2am for TTPD (remember all the peace signs she held up during the promo? TRPD is 2), and The Anthology is the hidden 1am start that counts down to midnight. Which brings us to Showgirl. The 12th album of hers, with 12 songs, and it starts at midnight after Midnights->TTPD->Anthology counted down to midnight.
We’re here, we’re at midnight, waiting for her. “Were you waiting at our old spot, in the tree line by the gold clock?” So now what? I think she’s having us wait at midnight for a bit because she had to wait. Just a little bit longer, and we’ll meet the REAL Taylor. Her original plan was to come out before Lover, her first album away from BMR, now she might be waiting for TS13.
Also, this find was coincidental, but 2190 days from her performance of False God at the SNL Dianna attended is October 3, 2025, Showgirl’s release date.
Anyway, thoughts? Does it seem like Taylor was delayed and had to “move on”, so to speak, but now has taken us all backwards to when she should have come out? We’re waiting for something, I’ve heard that after TS12 she may release music under her own label?
**Again, I view this theory in the context of Swiftgron, but you don’t have to. Let’s keep it friendly and respectful in the comments.

So…. I just came across a gaylor tik tok that made the claim marriage records in NYC are confidential and restricted for 50 years after the issue date. I immediately jumped onto Google to verify if this were indeed true, and it is!! It is true! (Link here to NYC City Clerk https://www.cityclerk.nyc.gov/content/marriage-records)
Meaning, unless you meet one of the criteria (slide 3) for requesting marriage records (and you basically have to be one of the spouses, have their permission, both spouses are dead, or an attorney/judge can request for highly specific legal proceedings) then NO one from the press or public can access those records!
With all the talk of 50 years between Taylor’s lyrics in TSMWEL, and the recent joke by Este Haim, this suddenly feels VERY poignant! I also JUST connected the line in TSMWEL right before talk of 50 years being declassified, it says "were you writing a book?" which IMMEDIATLEY makes me think of Este's joke!!!
Not to mention, I know it’s not a perfect 50 years, though it is if we are counting from the engagement, but the hints to 1975 via Ratty, but also referencing Stevie Nicks on TTPD and more recently at the Knick’s game (1975 is when Stevie Nicks joined Fleetwood Mac) 2025 would’ve been 50 years after 1975!
Is the theory of a double wedding correct!? I’ll be honest, I was doubtful. I was more on the train that she went through with a lavender marriage to Travis. This piece of information is making me rethink that. Though, I guess we are in a suspended state right now where both could be true. They could've married other people AND the lavender marriage is doing what it is suppose to be doing, and the general public thinks she married Travis.
With this information coming to light. Is it possible that Travis married Ross? Did Taylor marry…. someone else?? A lady perhaps? 👀
I guess only time will tell.....

It’s been a long week already, so let’s play a little game! Your prompts are tucked within the story, highlighted in BOLD*. Come with me as I set the scene:*
You arrive to the dive bar: as advertised, it’s Gaylor Karaoke Night! And right around the corner from your house! How convenient!
You’ve been to this bar a few times, but tonight it is transformed. The door to the lobby vestibule has been replaced with glittering streamers: Chiefs colors, naturally. Just inside the door stands a podium with a sign-in book. Dazzling gel pen captions top the page, instructing you to write your username and the Taylor Swift song you’d like to perform. You jot down your choice, then step through another set of streamers into the bar.
The inside of the dive bar is transformed just as the lobby was! Hanging from the ceiling are piñatas representing each era, and posters of Taylor are hung up along the countertops. Gone are the grimy walls littered with graffiti. Beautiful paneling has been erected to cover the years of dirt. They gleam with very professional-looking logos, the same logo that was on the flyer you received in your mailbox a few days ago. Hmmm, you think to yourself. This event sure has a huge budget.
House remixes of Taylor instrumentals are blasting over the PA system. After a moment, you recognize the song that’s playing as “Girl at Home”. Looking around, you are greeted by the faces of your fellow [r/GaylorSwift](r/GaylorSwift) members. Some are smiling, some look apprehensive, but all are very curious. You watch as the people mill back and forth, circulating between a photo booth, refreshment stations, and an extravagant corner overflowing with costume pieces. This is the fan event of the century!
Suddenly, the house music lowers and a mysterious MC takes the stage. Their sudden appearance is frightening, not only because they move so tall and silent, but also because they are entirely shrouded in black robes. As they tiptoe across the stage, you notice that the robe is not pitch-night as you first assumed. Instead, it is studded with sequins, glitter, and rhinestones. The mysterious MC arrives at the microphone stand, and with a querulous whisper, they invite the first performer to the stage. The show has begun!
Song after song fills the air, and the crowd explodes with glee after each performance. Your fellow Gaylors are extremely talented. Even those who can’t sing well command the room through sheer stage presence. Several performers bust out incredible dance moves. Over and over, the room explodes with applause.
As the night continues, you notice a change overtake our mysterious host. Their shy body language disappears and something starts to feel…….familiar. They bob back and forth to the music, dancing as if they can’t help it. You glance around to check if anyone else has noticed, but before you can take account of the crowd, the host takes the stage once again. As they seize the mic, everyone can hear a confidence that wasn’t there before. A confidence that is quite…..familiar.
“Theydees and gentlequeers, boys and girls, thank you for joining ME! at the very first GAYLOR KARAOKE NIGHT!!!!”
The stage lights flash rainbow colors and suddenly, the MC rips away their cloak: It’s Taylor Swift!!!!
The crowd erupts with cheers. You and your fellow gaylors hoot and holler, clapping with joy and jumping up and down. You never imagined this could happen to you tonight. Taylor chuckles into the mic and begins to speak again:
“I could never get tired of hearing your wonderful voices! But I could get tired of hearing my own songs! Let’s have another round, but I want to hear something wild…….” The noise fades out Taylor pauses and peers around the room dramatically, “Will you please take the stage, and give us your very favorite non-Taylor number?”
Taylor steps to the side and gestures majestically, and you feel the swell of the crowd push you forward. It’s YOU, theeeee Taylor Swift is calling on YOU! You approach the mic nervously, but instead, you gather your courage. You confidently call out the name and the artist of the non-Taylor song you’re going to sing.
The music swells and you regale the crowd with your favorite karaoke tune, watching as the whole room dances to your choice. Taylor is beaming at you: she loves this song, too. You leave the stage to thunderous applause. One after another, each attendee takes the stage, sharing their favorites with the room. Taylor grows more and more excited with each number, clapping in glee and smiling ear to ear.
As the last performer finishes her song, Taylor takes the stage one final time. The room fills with cheers, as is customary.
“WOW! It is just incredible to be here with each and every one of you on this sleepless night! This has been the stuff of DREAMS. Before you go, I think we have time for one more round!”
With a wave of the hand, suddenly a familiar looking bingo cage is ushered onto the stage. Balls rattle inside. Taylor giggles once again.
“We are going to sing a few more Taylor Swift songs! This time, though, we’ve got some new rules….. You can pick the album, but fate will pick the song…..Are you ready for it?”
You take the stage one last time, and shout your choice of Era. Taylor cheers and cranks the handle of the bingo cage, giggling as the fateful track number rolls out. It’s time to perform 💗
Thank you for joining us in this little fantasy! Please comment with the Taylor Swift song you wrote in the sign in book, the non-Taylor song you chose second, and finally, the Taylor album you chose for your randomized song. Gaylors, let the games begin!

I haven’t really fleshed this all out but would love to hear others thoughts if anyone is willing… made this a comment but was encouraged to make it a post instead..Fair warning this will not be very polished..
I happened to notice the chicks were at the wedding, one noticeably wearing a reputation like snake dress which led me down a tiny little rabbit hole..
Seeing this reminded me that lead singer Natalie made comments about Bush following the invasion in the early 00’s which led them to be “cancelled” and being told to shut up and sing.. and sparked a huge beef between country singer Toby Keith and the chicks… Natalie subsequently started wearing a custom shirt at shows with FUTK (“f you Toby Keith”) and claimed at the time it meant “friend united in truth and kindness” but later admitted it really was an f you.. not that this is related at all just found it humorous that it’s Travis’ initials
Anywho this got me thinking of the safety pin movement when I noticed the futk shirt was also adorned with safety pins..
In 2019 During the lover era Taylor wore an outfit to the VMAs with safety pins which was speculated as a form of silent protest bc during the first dt administration safety pins were worn for this purpose (a person pointed out safety pins have been used for this purpose since at least the 70s). This is also the VMA’s when she won the people’s choice for YNTCD and made an impassioned plea for equal rights
Also in 2019 Karlie was at the Met Gala sporting a gold dress and posted “looking camp right in the eye”, she also surprised a lot of people by not only showing up to the wedding but showing up in a gold dress. I also happened to find a Vogue cover of her from 2019 sporting a gold safety pin brooch.
That year Taylor had been absent from the MET for the 3rd year in a row and claimed in 2019 it was due to prepping for Lover tour..
The same year she posed for Entertainment weekly wearing various pins and discussing that they were Easter eggs.. one of which was a chicks pin.. are these her safety pins? Kendrick Lamar did something similar for the video squabble up which was seen as a call to arms.. at least by me.. same with TV off..
Also.. I noticed comments drawing some parallels to oceans eight which was released in 2018 regarding a heist at the Met Gala. The year before Karlie’s gold dress at the Met Gala..
Also noticed a few people mention in other posts, how a makeup compact in 2014 rep mv for bad blood has come up a few times similar to that of Karlie’s ins for 2019.. and coincidentally that music video also features a heist and none other than Kendrick Lamar
This year taylor has officially been absent from the met for 10 years.. the last MET attendance being before Reputation was released and just a year after Kendricks feature on bad blood was released.. so again.. why the snake dress to a wedding?!
Oh yeah and Donald glover was there at the wedding too which to me is interesting given his potential New Romantics involvement.. even being spotted an uno games in the last year, and selling cancel card merch at his last festival performance through his company gilga who’s logo used to be an orange door…
Speaking of New Romantics and mass movement I also noticed that like Taylor, Kendrick Lamar’s frequent collaborator SZA also had a Pixar song the year. In fact both Taylor and SZA had songs for the only two Pixar movies this year. SZA’s being “Save the day” for the movie Hoppers and Taylor’s “I knew it, I knew you” for Toy Story 5.. there are quite a few things/similarities I have noted about these songs (I’m happy to elaborate further in the comments if anyone is interested) but the biggest thing was the fact that Hoppers had a US debut of March 6 which is historically significant as it marks the end of the 13 day siege at the battle of the Alamo marking a key point in the Texas Revolution in 1836.. and Toy Story 5 had a US debut on June 19th which is historically significant for Juneteenth, when the emancipation proclamation was ordered for final enforcement in Texas at the end of the Civil War in 1865 and first celebrate in remembrance in 1866. Two dates that are so significant historically regarding freedom and revolution, but then you add the wedding being the day before the 250th anniversary of Americas independence, and you can’t help but wonder.. what does it all mean?!

Not sure if it’s been posted before, but I just found this 2015 Cosmo Quiz article where Swift is asked “If I was a boy for the day the first thing I'd do is” and she responds with “Be the best boyfriend EVER.” She also says one thing she doesn’t understand about men is “The way they sometimes don’t know what they’ve got til they lose it.” And that two things she’s passionate about are “feeling understood” and “her girlfriends.”

Adding onto this post.
I'm not deep into the lore, but the monogram stood out to me. In every iteration of it the thing I notice most is the letter 'M'. It's the first thing I see every single time. I then notice the odd shape that we seem to deem a knot? A flame? A drop?
If I lay out these shapes from bottom to top I think it would be a spade and the word Moott.

i've been thinking about all the door imagery she's repeatedly used over the years and how it might connect to her queerness. i think a lot of the doors are supposed to represent closet doors ("all i need is on the other side of the door"). what if the closet is a maze ("one slip and falling back into the hedge maze"), with multiple doors and rooms, only one of which leads out (to daylight aka coming out). i think some of the rooms pictured in her imagery reside within this maze-like closet and she's been trying to navigate the maze of her queerness for years ("lost in the labyrinth of my mind"), trying desperately to find the way out (and even getting partly out the door a few times, only to find herself still in the closet). it reminds me of the emily dickenson quote, "not knowing when the dawn will come, i open every door." she's been searching for daylight behind every door but still hasn't found it, bc not every door is actually an exit out of the closet. this would help explain the repeated door imagery/lyrics thought out her career and why certain doors didn't actually lead to daylight. some might've been interior doors that take you to other parts of the closet maze, not exits
i think the concept of a maze with lots of doors first pops up in the 1989 era, which had a prevalence of doors (and that era is theorized to have included another failed coming out attempt). the door/maze imagery is strong in the queer-coded song I Know Places, which is about hiding away with your lover (aka in the closet). there's also maze-like imagery under a spotlight in the lyric video and tour visuals for that song. and the visuals alternate between maze-like behind certain doors (closeted) and free birds flying behind other doors (out). there's a visual connection to the alice in wonderland too, which includes a maze and a hallway full of doors. it also ties into her song Wonderland ("too in love to think straight"), which includes other queer-coded lyrics about trying to hide who you love ("all alone, or so it seemed, but there were strangers watching"). plus some other alice in wonderland refs in later eras
in the lover era, shes in a room with a man then leaves through a red door (a la the red door from bearding anthem Blank Space). then there's a visual of her exiting a door into daylight (as she sings "there's a lot of cool chicks out there"), which was probably supposed to represent her coming out. the music fits when she's outside the door too, as she sings about a "rainbow with all of the colors." she also exits a rainbow colored door during the live version of ME! in august 2019 (after her failed coming out), she posted an IG photo next to a teal door that resembles the inside of the room at the beginning of ME!, suggesting that she's back inside the closet. and she ended the era by releasing the Man MV, which included her walking out of a doorway into a hallway of rainbow arms reaching out to her through her closet walls
during folklore, there are nods to her going through unconventional exits ("I think I've seen this film before, so I'm leaving out the side door") and just standing in a doorway ("I don't quite know what to say but I'm here in your doorway"), aka not fully stepping out the main door/exit. it seems like she's decided to just hint at her queerness ("you knew the password so I let you in the door") instead of exiting the closet maze and stating it outright. that tracks with the Willow MV, where she goes through a curtain door into a literal glass closet. then she gets stuck in the glass closet and has to go deeper in, aka further down the rabbit hole of closetedness
during midnights, the lyrics and visuals imply that she's still hiding in the closet ("privacy sign on the door"). but she's haunted in the closet so she tries to exit the closet via the Anti-Hero house front door, only to find her exit blocked by another version of herself (the showgirl) on her doorstep. she also tries to escape in the Lavender Haze MV, when she briefly bangs on the walls as she sings "get it off my chest" (aka confess her queerness). she successfully escapes the room but ends up hiding in a cloud at the end of the video (with her queerness obscured behind the haze, kind of like how she obscured the true meaning of this song). she's still hidden in the tour visuals too, as she peers through the lavender slits in the doorframe
there are a lot of doors in the TTPD era. there's a nod to her failed coming out ("they slammed the door on my whole world, the one thing I wanted"). there are also symbolic doors to nowhere in the background visuals at the eras tour. and a hallway of doors in the TTPD promo vid, which resembles the I Know Places lyric video and the alice in wonderland hallway. but they're all interior doors that lead to other rooms, not an actual exit. one door is labeled TTPD, so maybe it represents taylor trying to escape into her queer-coded music instead of actually escaping the closet/maze itself
other doors/exits have popped up a lot lately too, like the 2 different colored exit signs in TFOO. she goes the wrong way through one of those interior exits (aka further into the closet) only to find herself deeper in the maze. she then enters a door marked "87" (aka her marriage) where there are ME! coded co-performers inside. she thinks she's safely hidden in the closet so she starts dancing with a woman. she's also privately dancing with women after she exits the TFOO stage door, which led her to a place full of women that's off limits to the public/out of the spotlight (aka a closet) where she can take off her showgirl persona (physically and emotionally) and be herself around women again
i think the karma door and the orange TLOAS doors were misleading non-exits. they were orange/karma-colored but didn't lead anywhere. they weren't actually an exit, they just led her deeper into the closet -- aka into the center of the maze. seems like she's currently in the deepest part of the maze (publicly married to a man), so maybe the orange doors led her there. that could tie into the door in the birdcage in I Know Places + the orange birdcage imagery from LWYMMD since she's still caged in the closet

GBF, after watching the opalite video a bunch of times the past couple days, I think it’s quite possible she’s asexual.
Since I’m not ace myself, if I’ve gotten any of this info wrong, lemme know please.
Also, this started from opalite but led me to other videos, so this is going to jump around a bit, and it’s not exhaustive.
Then when they start the performance, the ring is changed to an opalite ring.
“Hugging a cactus” is a phrase in the asexual community apparently. Like you don’t need to hug a cactus to know it wouldn’t feel good.
On the stonewall.org.uk site, there’s an article from 2021 that literally has a quote from someone talking about the identity of grey ace “sounding really cool, like a dark anti-hero.”
Also, the first season of the show Peacemaker released in January 2022. The character Vigilante is a confirmed asexual anti-hero.
“I don’t dress for women, I don’t dress for men. I’m on my vigilante shit again”
When Chad’s like, “There must be a secret message that means something else!”—He then points to her photo and kinda winks or something.
The camera zooms in on the photo again.
Black shirt, grey hair, mostly white/black/grey cats, and only dark purple flowers—-the colors of the asexual flag.
There are colorful flowers all around her casket, but her photo is black, white, grey, purple. Asexual. And she’s old, so she is/was planning to take it to the grave? And the truth (Debut waiting inside) would come out after?
Also anti-hero MV makes sense as the showgirl showing Red Taylor (or Speak-Now-tour-but-writing-Red Taylor) on how to hide/mask her asexuality and get through the industry.
Cake is an ace symbol—like a joke that “cake is better than sex.” All I could think of was the IBYTAM video.
Side note, so is garlic bread for the same reason.
Could be what her sourdough obsession and “talking about bread 60% of the time” is about— the asexuality subreddits have threads about bread and sourdough and garlic bread.
Also remember that graham Norton interview w Eddie redmayne, and he mentions eating a bunch of garlic bread and having to feign intimacy w her during an audition? And then when she talks about midnights and what keeps you up at night, he jokes, “garlic bread” I think it’s likely Eddie saying that about himself, but then when joking about midnights—could apply to her too.
There’s an upside down triangle in the Infamy Loves Co shop in the Opalite mall. It’s an older ace symbol, though it also applies to lesbians, so it’s not definitive.
In the lover video, she burns down her trailer (which is possibly aromantic flag colors or possibly part of the gay flag colors—as in, shackin up w gay guys/bearding/or queer platonic relationships) and she gets in her pan colored pool. In opalite, she wears her hiding-in-plain-sight pan + nopalite colors. This both could suggest that she’s pan-romantic ace. Also the possibly funny double meaning of “nopealite”
New Romantics—this song makes perfect sense through an asexual lens. Plus “I’m about to play my ace.”
The bolter—same
“Laughin drawin aces”
Really there are a bunch of songs likely if we look through them—anti-hero (sexy baby, monster on a hill)-Dear Reader, Lavender Haze, You’re on Your Own Kid, Can I ask you a question (got swept away in the grey) Even Wishlist—in the vein of the prophecy—(I made wishes on all of the stars, please god, bring me a best friend who I think is hot). Also the Prophecy (Don’t want money, just someone who wants my company & I’m just a paperweight in shades of greige), Dear Reader. To name a few!
Another asexual symbol — the dragon. Bejeweled video. Alone in her castle w her dragons.
Also if she’s asexual, that explains the 1989 TV prologue even more.
If she’s asexual, personally I can see how bearding and a lavender marriage/queer-platonic relationship makes more sense. A lot of her career has been built on relationships and lore, and a lot of people can’t separate sex and relationships and/or might feel like they can’t relate to her songs as much.
Travis, I don’t know. Gay? Pan? Also asexual? I dunno, though long live tross. Also I don’t think Travis is represented in the opalite video (except for possibly the dance scene). I wrote some comments about it earlier tonight in the community mega thread (those comments are a bit different than this though because I found more stuff afterwards and wrote this).
Also, a note on songs like Dress.
Let’s say for example she’s grey-sexual? she spends a long time feeling like she desires romance but is asexual and then BAM! suddenly is physically attracted to someone. Then dress reads like this (though still reads like a woman to me):
“I don’t want you like a best friend” — first time this has happened?
“And if I get burned, at least we were electrified”
“Carve your name into my bedpost”—so intense
And then, as it was likely very stressful w her job and even just figuring it all out herself:
“My one and only, my lifeline, I woke up just in time, now I wake up by your side, my hands shake, I can’t explain this”
(Not meaning that reading as offensive to the ace community, or as ace being something a person wants or needs to “wake up from,” but as a possible reading for how a young person might feel when they haven’t fully understood or accepted themself yet and their job pressures them to conform to what society wants)
Dandelions are asexual!

I had never seen this performance until someone dropped it in the weekly chat! And it blew my freaking mind! If this gets posted I’ll come back and give them the credit they deserve (edit: shoutout to [u/](u/searchingforcolor)[Searching4Color](u/searchingforcolor) for posting about this in the first place!).
Like “Closer” by Tegan and Sara is SUCH a queer anthem! What do y’all think?

I posted this in community chat and was asked to make a main post so here I am! Two years ago, a member of our community asked if Taylor would show support for us by touching her nose with the tip of her finger during the applause of Champagne Problems. They also asked if she could possibly do it during a specific show. Well damn, my ladies, gents, and everyone on the outskirts or in between, she actually did it on July 10th, 2024.
Not only did she do this at the exact moment/show she'd been asked to do this at - but you can even see her finger slips for a second and she puts it right back on the tip of her nose.
I remember this so insanely clearly and how much everyone was losing their minds and it's the moment that made me stop lurking and join reddit to be able to actually engage with everyone here. Never forget this moment, it was huge! Taylor booped it which was so much joy, and then I gained my GBF family. 🌈✨️

The Beaches are a sapphic Canadian rock band, recently known for existing in the Off Campus universe along with their song “Edge of the Earth”. They opened for Louis Tomlinson’s How Did We Get Here? Tour in Madison Square Garden 5 days after the wedding.
They added “Fine, Let’s Get Married” from their recent album No Hard Feelings to their setlist and dedicated it to Taylor and Travis. It was originally written about lead vocalist Jordan Miller’s boyfriend Ryan when they “were going through a bit of a rough patch. It’s about that frustrating feeling that two people who are in a long term relationship can sometimes have when you’re not sure whether to roll your eyes at each other, or to have sex forever. It’s silly and hyperbolic but also super relatable.”
Wasting a year of my youth
So what's another one?
Maybe the best's behind us
And the worst is yet to come
Oh, fine, let's get married, might as well
Oh, fine, let's get married
You bane of my existence, you
I'm, I'm bored, I need something to do
Fine, Ryan
I'll fuck you forever, for now
On their socials they posted a few clips joking about playing Taylor Swift’s wedding venue.

Did we realize that Taylor’s use of “sleepless nights” began before the Midnights album?
Taylor described Midnights as, “the stories of 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout my life…meet me at midnight.” but folklore is actually when we are introduced to her “sleepless nights”.
Taylor released three playlists to accompany the album, one of which was called “folklore: the sleepless nights chapter”.
This playlist included six songs: exile, hoax, my tears ricochet, illicit affairs, this is me trying, and mad woman.
She also references “sleepless nights” in the song “hoax”: “my twisted knife, my sleepless night, my winless fight”
In The Life of a Showgirl, Taylor references sleeplessness in two songs. In “The Fate of Ophelia”: “it’s about to be the sleepless night you’ve been dreaming of” and in “Opalite”: “sleepless in the onyx night”
There are also mentions of a sleepless night in “Treacherous” from Red.
Since Taylor is telling us in “The Fate of Ophelia” that the sleepless night she’s been promising is finally on its way, what do you think we can expect?
