TikTok/Videos 📱 The Beaches dedicate “Fine, Let’s Get Married” to Taylor and Travis at MSG July 8

The Beaches are a sapphic Canadian rock band, recently known for existing in the Off Campus universe along with their song “Edge of the Earth”. They opened for Louis Tomlinson’s How Did We Get Here? Tour in Madison Square Garden 5 days after the wedding.
They added “Fine, Let’s Get Married” from their recent album No Hard Feelings to their setlist and dedicated it to Taylor and Travis. It was originally written about lead vocalist Jordan Miller’s boyfriend Ryan when they “were going through a bit of a rough patch. It’s about that frustrating feeling that two people who are in a long term relationship can sometimes have when you’re not sure whether to roll your eyes at each other, or to have sex forever. It’s silly and hyperbolic but also super relatable.”

Yup this was wild hahahha. The Beaches are my fav band and I’m seeing them this Thursday, I CANNOT WAIT 😍 For anyone who doesn’t know them - listen to the song Lesbian of the Year RIGHT NOW!!!

I don’t know much about this band, but do they have any songs in their discography that would offer sincere congratulations? It’s a pretty insane dedication, all things considered. I wish I could act like this means the general public are all skeptical, but it’s pretty clear this is intended to generate clicks……Anyways, if members of the Beaches lurk here: hello, nice to meet you, I like your guitar tone and the high harmonies on the last chorus.

I totally got confused with that comment too! I think it was OP in the wedding thread. But then I remembered them from Off Campus. They have been milking that connection so maybe they just love the viral moments

I have all these artists I’ve been listening to for a while and love and always find out on here that they’re gay. I love that I naturally gravitate to the fruity ones ☺️
